Penguin2: Shit is becoming a joke at this juncture.
But, like Solomon Dalung said, even if all 36 governors defect to APC, Tinubu will still be smoked out of Aso Rock in 2027. Who is dalung, that failed minister of sport. buhari didn't even reappoint him. |

SHIOR. When obi failed wofefully in the north, they will say north don't like igbos. Why will dey like a bitter tribe. Buhari has massive followers in the north and by 2027 the bitter people will understand better. Atiku will be the ADC candidate for sure. They should be prepared for more political wilderness. |

Politics › Re: Marketers Protest As Dangote Moves To Crash Cooking Gas Price by kedeojo(m): 7:35am On Jul 16, 2025 |
Teymanhenry: The Marketers should build a coalition, build a refinery then rival Dangote. Yes he is monopolizing the gas sector. But if that will make the masses have cheaper gas , then nature will welcome it. I pray it comes to pass God bless you. Why do the marketers don't want to build thier own refineries or partner as you rightly said. They are sad that the free money they get by shortchanging the government is no longer possible. Many of them can conviently build modular refinery. |

nairalanda1: Well, BUA and LaFarge haven't been pushed out of the cement market, neither has Ibeto cement. Ibeto couldn't compete but as usual, his people are blaming Dangote. BUA was the first to enter Edo state and Dangote later came, both are doing well. If it was the bitter people they will cry victimization. They are always afraid of competition. Dangote produces spaghetti but he couldn't gain upper hand from golden penny and he didn't cry. Anything they start, they don't want another tribe to venture but want to venture in another one's own. They are still crying for government to build seaport for them when state are building or partnering with private sectors to build one. Dangote has just announced a seaport proposal in Ogun state, what stop the likes of authur Eze who made all his money from government under IBB to build or partner with other investors to build one in igboland. He prefers to build hotel in Enugu airport. They haven't but will say government don't give the necessary papers meanwhile Obaseki was given for gelegele seaport but he failed to get investors before starting. He was even begging Edo billionaires to invest but due to lack of trust they have for him, they didn't obliged. |
Politics › Re: Marketers Protest As Dangote Moves To Crash Cooking Gas Price by kedeojo(m): 7:02am On Jul 16, 2025 |
Taich: This headline has many hidden meanings. Like Dangote or hate him, the masses are the ones being played here. Dangote came into the Cementing sector, we all other players were pushed out. We know how the price of cement went. Dangote business model is market disruption at errant, then monopoly and finally the masses pay massively for the only supplier.
I have people thinking my statement lacked facts, Dangote and Ibeto has been in and out of court over cement, Dangote and BUA has issues over sugar. Dangote cement is one of the priciest in the market. These are facts, Dangote business model end game is monopoly. Ibeto was never a big player that Dangote will have a court case with. Stop the lies. Why did he not restart Ibeto cement under Jonathan. You people always cry when you can't compete but praise yourself when you gain upper hand. When Dangote started his vehicle assembly, you guys start cry that he want to drive innoson out of business. How many nnewi indigene are driving his brand compare to foriegn ones. Dangote no get mate for Nigeria when he comes to business acumen. He pays the highest tax and among the highest employer of labour. The likes of authur Eze were given refinery licences but they prefer importing fuel with so much padding to make free money. Dangote came to the rescue now, when he move to power sector, criminals like you will say he want to monopolize it. The day he move into it, nigerians will withnessed so much power improvement. Steel sector is currently comatose and nobody is brave enough to enter but when Dangote enter and start getting result, ogbanjes will start crying again. Dangote is a pride of Nigeria and Africa |

FreeIgboho: Dangote better be careful. This is the kind of thing that has Bill Gates in trouble in certain quarters - crashing people's means of livelihood by donating it for free! Which arrant nonsense are you saying. So he should allow greedy marketers to continue to exploit the masses. They are the major problem of the country. |

Godfullsam: Even Amaechi was not visibly present at the funeral.
Although he was at daura today to pay last respect to the family but it looks like he didn't show face at the funeral site. Ameachi is not a Muslim and so he won't be in center stage. That is how is done, as for obi, he knows he won't get the needed attention that he always crave for. |

So many companies shut down in the first two years of Buhari that unemployment jumped from 8 5% to over 30%
Before Tinubu took over, Emirates and some multinationals had pulled out of Nigeria due to the chronic scarcity of forex. What is the point of an rate of N500 when you have no dollars to supply?
There was only $3bn in the net foreign reserves while owing buyers of fx, $7bn. You should know as usual how they behave. His anger is that Tinubu a Yoruba became president. |

Deepspirituals: The CPC blog of APC Was said to have contributed immensely towards the Victory of Buhari first term and second term.
There is this Saying that It was Tinubu that went to Daura to Assure Buhari to contest again that he win when he had already lost hope and Fedup , Till date many believe that but recently some buhari loyalist have been refuting that . If buhari is alive ,some of these loyalist would still be with him, now he is no more, would some of these supporters, loyalist not acts otherwise? They didn't contributed much but buhari made them. Buhari had massive followers in the north. People like El rufai wouldn't have been governor if not for Buhari. The likes of Malami were not even popular in their states before becoming minister of justice. |
