He was a lone challenger and when he was betrayed and Atiku won the presidential ticket, naturally the leaders and elders of the party should not have allowed Atiku to pick Okowa against Wike. Wike has so much penetrated the party and he has loyal loyalist almost the states. It is difficult to fight him and Pdp can't even muster the courage of suspending him cos they know, the party will just die a natural death. Atiku have started romancing SDP cos he knows as long Wike still hold forte, even if he won the primaries, he will still not get all support from pdp. He and some of the Northerners want to cash on Obi popularity he got last election to see if he can be president. The best bet, is to play Obi and igbos to support Atiku and he will handover power to them. Igbos will fall for this and that will mark their end in politicking cos Tinubu will still win.
