Hi Doctors in the house I planned on applying MBBS this 2024 Jamb
Between Unilag and UI which is more transparent with their MBBS admission?
And what are the criterias for getting MBBS in both Universities including Jamb score, Putme score and O level result?
To top it all, am from Kwara State and I could have gotten MBBS in 2023 jamb with 290 at Usman danfodio University Sokoto but due to financial means I didn't later pursue the admission😭. But now my Uncle promised to sponsor me by all means and he is suggesting I should go to Unilag or UI. I lives currently with him in Agura, Ikorodu Lagos.
Please I sincerely need ur honest opinions about this🙏
I don't understand, was it that you weren't offered MBBS at UDUS or you simply didn't accept the offer? I rep UDUS med 2nd year

Please are there other final year medical students on here, projecting to finish within next year... I'm thinking of creating a group, where we can brain storm and discuss about life after school, internship , japa plans and all.

UDUS just released her cut off mark for 2023/2024 UTME aspirants.
Medicine and Surgery is; 280 for Merit
260 for ELDS and
230 for Catchment area.
For interested aspirants, UDUS is pretty fair in their admission and the calender is very fast.
I'll be resuming 200level latest by February, and we resumed 100level around April.

Thanks.

I have heard so much about UDUS even Unimaid. The security challenge is the issue. Too risky for a 16year old girl that spent all of her time in a closed guided catholic boarding school. It is easier and faster for a boy to toughen up and adjust in such environment. The parents have alreafy ruled out certain regions.
I am a Christian and I have lots of 16year-olds schooling here. Religion is not an issue here if she knows how to mind her business. Well, I wish her all the best

Thanks.

I will consider all your suggestions. She got 299 in JAMB this year. Uniben PUTME was chaotic on the first day that Medical Students wrote. That was what affected her. Those scheduled for 12:30pm could not write till around 6pm. Some students fainted while waiting with all the sun blazing with no place to sit and had to be taken away by ambulance.

hey with this JAMB score, I'd advice she changes to UDUS (Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto) I school there and it is a federal University. In fact, her quota is 150. If she so likes, her cut off for MBBS last year was 280
