2nri: Hello house, sorry I've been AWOL, its just that my mama taught me to remain silent if I've got nothing to say. For reasons best known to me, I opted for EY and I can say its a great place. On your enquiries, all I know is they haven't met their manpower needs, HR said as much during the induction. Grapevine also has it that some people will come in by October, this is unconfirmed so please don't quote me anywhere. If I learn of anything concrete, I'll let you know. All the same. Keep the hope alive, the best is yet to come.

2nri and kaydada. sorry do you guys know if they'll be another batch of mails? or we're to close this chapter. Don't know why EY wouldn't send mails to everyone whether successful or otherwise.

Yea.. dunno if they'll be another batch of mails. seems the only person on NL that has gotten an offer is 2nri.

They accept 2:2 With conditions, But i,m not going to go into that. sorry Y'all.

For graduate new intakes, only 2:1 and above are considered, and this is for all big 4 firms.

I know pwc used to accept 2:2 for graduate trainee (although you must have a good number of As in your WAEC), but not anymore.

I'm guessing every big 4 firm would accept 2:2 for well experienced people with the right qualifications too.

Does anyone know when we're likely to receive feedback concerning the AC? That's assuming they've finished conducting ACs.

I'm sure that's not possible. EY has clients in Lagos and other states, and would need staff to go do the audits of these clients., and that's just for Assurance alone. Not to talk of other units. infact it's impossicant. lol

masagoody: Kpmg does not recruit once in two months. they do test almost every week and the idea is to have more than enough good candidates to select from. their recruitment starts anytime and ends in august for the new intakes to be given offers to resume in September. if you are invited for a test in august or September, you are possibly being recruited for the september intake of the following year.

Not necessarily. Some people resumed in April this year in KPMG

As for EY, I was thinking they were the smallest of the Big 4s in Nigeria. Not sure about them taking up to 70 people. And as for pay, to the best of my knowledge, PwC pays the most out of the big 4.

Was there an AC today? Mine was yesterday, and there were two batches. That means the interview process hasn't ended, if the AC is still ongoing.

012793572 and 012705851 are their numbers. Obviously there are two batches. Ours have been postponed. Those that got invitations yesterday will still do theirs.

Got my invite on the 3rd, that's on tuesday. Got another one in my spam box that evening saying I should disregard. I called the landline in the mail that was sent and they said it affected all. When did you guys get your invite?

So does it mean not everyone got the mail to disregard? You guys should check ur spam and let us know. Cos when I called them, they said the assessment centre for saturday was cancelled.
