Fkhalifa:
Bro, I hope they will not see this as taking sides with Emery, the truth is Emery had his issues, quite alright, but arsenal's problem is bigger than just "coaching" ...The errors committed by Wenger's £70M in Xhaka and Mustafi would have landed us in UCL by now, is Emery a magician or error correcting machine, that he'll change them suddenly?
Why do you think the top managers are not gunning for Arsenal job?
Comparing Arsenal's situation to Buhari,Amosun,Ameachi talk is a joke..
The only worthy players Wenger left was Auba,Laca,Ramsey and Bellerin.. Montreal..ageing Iwobi..potentials
Did you see Pep and Klopp's massive team overhaul? Is it this penny pinching and buying cheap options that'll not spoil any manager with a good CV like Emery's image?
I read the below in a forum __
If Wenger was still in charge we would have been relegated last season, Football in England has changed..
Emery finished a point away from CL in the PL and made the EL final. Unfortunately he was not allowed to buy his own payers because Mislintat and then Sanllehi buy the players. Emery wanted Nzonzi and would have preferred a top class CB. But Sven Mislintat bought Socritis and this season Sanllehi bought Luiz and Pepe. So Emery got lumbered with Socritis Luiz Mustafi Xhaka Torreira and Pepe. Emery tried to sell Mustafi Elneny Ozil and Mkhitarian but none would leave.
Till now no buyers for the above named players..
You're only fvckn deceiving yourself, if you are blaming all crisis on Emery, and not tracing this Arsenal's problems from past regimes..
P.s...This is not to say Emery doesn't have his problems. Emery wanted a midfielder reinforcement and a good CB. He knew our weak points. He got a winger, no midfielder and an old CB. This shows that the club isn't run properly. |

Keky: I've defended Emery since he's been here but I just can't anymore, we certainly aren't going to ever be top 4 with him let alone challenging any time soon. Obviously the defence was absolutely dire but the tactics and subs are on him and they were just all wrong and I really hope the club don't extend his contract beyond the 2 years he has. Swissh: Not saying Emery is blames less but it's not his fault if his players decides to make school boy mistakes on constant bases. It's clearly systematic. Yes the defenders are making mistakes but we shouldn't be letting teams have this many shots at goal. |

Jodera: so to you, he should start over ceballos or toreira. Or even xhaka? I remember last season, when we went through our unbeaten run, it was xhaka and toreira Manning that midfield. The moment xhaka was injured for like 2-3wks, we started losing left right and center. B4 the introduction of toreira, it was xhaka and guen, I remember our midfield been over run also. The moment emery benched guen for xhaka-toreira pairing was the moment we started getting results, but of course, I knew you might have forgotten. One thing I know is that most coaches have their favorite, and guen is Emery's favorite. I remember when Ramsey can't trap, pass or was such a major flop, yet Wenger still put him in games week in week out. It reached to a stage whereby fans were groaning with his every touch and arsenal players refusing to pass him the ball sometimes, yet he was still Wenger's favorite. So it happens, that someone starts match consecutively doesn't mean he deserve to be a starter. If you think otherwise, ask man u fans about lingard in their number 10 position and why he's still starting their matches, whether he deserve to be in their starting eleven You know more than the coach now. Go manage your football team too. |

Jodera: Great, now we're on same page. Most of these players hyped before 20, especially in England turns flop. Notice why Spain , Germany and France produce top notch players? Cos their potential stars aren't hyped unlike in England where basic things are overblown. The list of stars in England being hyped but derailed away from the greatness path is endless, that's why we need to tone it down with guen. To be sincere, what guen is doing is what most of his mates are doing even in academy in other top clubs. In as much I wouldn't want him back in the academy, but most of us will agree that he should not be a starter, but a sub or squad player. He's not doing anything exceptional, yes he's talent and have a great potential, but he's not doing anything exceptional to warrant starting. But then, the coach chooses whom he wants, so it's not his fault that he starts games. He has his fault, thank goodness he's working on them little by little. You must know more than the coach that watch him in training. He shouldn't be a starter? Our best midfielder on form currently shouldn't be a starter. Lool. De Jong shouldn't be a starter as well then. |

Jodera: Bros, is not after every good performance of guen that you'll start bringing stats and pix, but if he flops in a match, you disappear. Nobody says guen is scrap or useless, most people here says he should be integrated into the team slowly. Quite frankly, he have improved drastically this season, but what most people here feels is that, if you hype he like their lacazette, you shouldn't disappear, or bring up "he's still very young" anytime he comes under criticism. That's what most of his critics are about here. We've seen what over-hyping at a tender age have caused our previous "potentials" Literally every talented youngster that plays in a top league has bad games - because they’re not the finished article, but they still offer so much to the team. He just recently turned 20 and he’s one of our best players on a consistent basis. I don’t think anyone’s getting carried away. He’s a top talent period. |
