Business / 3 Steps For Building Bold Teams That Dream Big by Kelben: 1:02pm On Jan 22, 2020
Building a superstar team is a mixture of art and science. As Google’s Project Aristotle taught us, hiring a team of all-stars is not necessarily the surest route to success. In their efforts to crack the code on team effectiveness, Google’s researchersdiscovered that the real magic lies in some key characteristics and intangible factors such as dependability, structure and — most importantly — psychological safety.

When everyone on a team feels safe to offer up ideas, take risks, and ask questions, teams become something more than the sum of their parts. It’s important to remember that a group of workers does not a team make. Real teams collaborate and work together for a common purpose. Therefore, you need to consider more than the skills employees bring when adding them to a team.

How well do team members work with others? What motivates them? Do they view their co-workers as allies in a common cause or competitors in the quest for advancement? As a leader, you also need to nurture your team members as they develop, encouraging the group norms that lead to creative and cooperative groups. Here’s how:

1. Build trust.

Psychological safety makes team members feel comfortable taking risks, asking for help when they need it, admitting mistakes when they occur, and providing and receiving constructive feedback. Trust is how you get..read more here>>https://www.successdigestonline.com/3-steps-for-building-bold-teams-that-dream-big/

The marketing industry is continually evolving. Consumer expectations are intensifying, and new marketing practices and technologies continue to sprout up. More than ever, it’s crucial that marketers expand their competencies and learn new skills. Otherwise, they risk getting left behind.

It’s unrealistic to be proficient at everything, but picking up an in-demand, hard skill can make marketing professionals stronger assets to their teams and potential hiring managers, which is why they should consider learning or updating one of the following skills.

Data Science and Analysis
According to HubSpot’s 2018 State of Inbound survey, 42 percent of marketers said proving the return on investment on their marketing efforts was a top priority for their company, and 39 percent considered it to be one of their top challenges.

Being able to analyze and understand data is the key to evaluating the success of campaigns and proving ROI. It helps marketers understand what is or isn’t working, what needs to change and how to replicate success. Religion / Open Heaven 20 January 2020- Children Of God Are Peacemakers I by Kelben: 10:52am On Jan 20, 2020
Topic: Children of God are Peacemakers I (Open Heaven 20 January 2020)

Memorise: “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” – Matthew 5:9

Read: Matthew 5:39-48 (KJV)

39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Bible in One Year: Genesis 25-26

Open Heaven 20 January 2020 Monday MESSAGE:
A peacemaker is a person who pursues peace at all times. When the fellow is offended, his response to the offender is to ensure that peace reigns. Sometimes, they take all the blame and suffer some consequences, but they are happy at the end of the day because all they are after is peace. Also, when they see other people in a quarrel, they intervene to ensure that they make peace with each other. God loves these people so much; Jesus specifically said that they will be called the children of God. Of course, they will be called the children of God because Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace.

Now, if the peacemaker is a child of God, then whose child is the troublemaker? When you always choose quarrels over peace, who do you resemble? A troublemaker may not know it, but he is not a child of God as he does not exhibit the character of God rather those of the devil. If whenever you see two people quarrelling, you begin to say things that would fuel the anger of one or the other and cause the quarrel to become more heated, you are a troublemaker. If you have a reputation of always retaliating against anyone who offends you, you are a troublemaker. If you are one who likes to cause quarrels amongst your colleagues, friends or family members, then you are a trouble maker; you need to repent and change your ways.

Many times, we want to make peace, but we don’t want to be seen as a weakling. The reverse is however the truth. It takes strength to control one’s ego, anger and work towards peace. Hence, it is a strong but wise person that will seek peace.

Whenever you’re tempted to fight, remember that unbelievers don’t read the Bible, hence it is we the Christians that model Christ to them. If you claim that the Prince of Peace lives in you and you are the quarrelsome type, many unbelievers will not want that your “Prince of Peace” to live in them. Secondly, making peace with others is one of the prerequisites to making it to heaven on the last day. Hebrews 12:14 says:

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”

Business / 11 Mental Tricks To Stop Overthinking Everything by Kelben: 3:15pm On Jan 17, 2020
Being a leader requires confidence, decisiveness, and quick thinking– none of which are served by overthinking every decision or scenario or worrying about every move you make. There’s a time to think, a time to act, a time to reflect, and a time to move forward.
Overthinking causes us to spend too much time thinking, getting stuck in a loop of inaction, and turns positive reflection into debilitating worry. Not only does it not move us forward, but it moves us backward and downward.

For three decades I’ve been coaching employees and entrepreneurs with tendencies to overthink things, and I can share 11 mental tricks to dash the dissecting and stop the over-scrutinizing...read more here>>https://www.successdigestonline.com/11-mental-tricks-to-stop-overthinking-everything/

Webmasters / 2020 SEO Trends To Rank High On Google by Kelben: 11:39am On Jan 16, 2020
In today’s world, you need these 2020 SEO trends to rank high on Google maintaining a market share is more difficult than ever before. In just about every industry you can think of, the competition for customers’ attention has never been stiffer. As such, the right SEO strategy makes or breaks.

Unfortunately for many small businesses, it’s rarely made and often break.

The truth is, we all know why SEO matters. Most people have a decent grip on the basic principles too. The trouble arises when the SEO landscape changes. That is, what works today might not work tomorrow.

This can make it hard to keep up. The situation only gets worse if you don’t have the resources to take on an SEO specialist. Of course, one solution is to work with an agency. Alternatively, you may wish to take matters into your own hands.

With that in mind, here are 6 SEO trends to help you get one up on the competition in 2020.

1. The Importance of Click Through Rate and Dwell Time
BERT, Google’s most recent algorithm update places more emphasis on meeting users’ needs. This is the final nail in the coffin of the newbie SEO professional’s favorite pastime – keyword stuffing.

Indeed, keyword density is becoming less and less important. In turn, two other metrics are will take greater precedence in your SEO strategy in 2020.

• Click-Through Rate – This is the number of people who click on a link, relative to how many saw it.

• Dwell Time – This is how long people spend on a page on your site.

Both are essentially measures of how satisfied users are, and to what extent they’re able to find what they’re looking for on your site. This data can be found under the Behaviour tab in Google Analytics. See photo here

If you have a low dwell time, there are a couple of potential problems. Firstly, your site may be too difficult to navigate. Secondly, your content may just not be up to scratch. In particular, ensure that you’re creating valuable and easy to read content for your users.

If you are struggling with low click-through rates, chances are that you’re messing up your anchor texts. Check out this guide on how to cite a website properly.

2. Influence Outreach for SEO
Influencer marketing is constantly gaining popularity. It’s well known that this approach can help you reach new customers, by creating authentic feeling ads. The SEO benefits of working with influencers are less well known...read more here>>https://www.successdigestonline.com/2020-seo-trends-to-rank-high-on-google/

Business / How To Build A Social Media Following Using These 2 Writing Tips by Kelben: 12:24pm On Jan 15, 2020
One of my new year’s goals the year that I quit my job, was to write more. That year I published over 150 blog posts. Here are my writing tips that I learned along the way for anyone looking to build a bigger social following, which could mean a bigger email list, social media followers, or a stronger in-person network.

1. Be opinionated.
There is absolutely nothing worse than reading or writing content that doesn’t take a stand on anything, doesn’t provide any new insights, and is most likely content you’ve heard already. Most importantly, nobody wants to read this kind of writing, and nobody is going to share it.

When I started writing content about quitting your job, it immediately started to gain traction. There were people who loved what I was writing, and there were plenty of people who hated it. They thought I was wrong, and many of them even wrote me nasty messages. But, that’s precisely when I knew I was on to something. Of course, quitting your job isn’t for everyone, but my opinion struck a chord, and everyone benefited from it...read more here>>http://www.successdigestonline.com/how-to-build-a-social-media-following-using-these-2-writing-tips/

Memorise: “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” – Jeremiah 17:5

Read: Jeremiah 17:5-8 (KJV)

5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Bible in One Year: Job 35-37

Open Heaven 13 January 2020 Monday MESSAGE:
Anyone who puts his trust in people is bound to get disappointed. People are often unpredictable and not always in control of their own feelings. No matter how much integrity a person has built up, certain situations may make it impossible for such a person to do as they earlier promised. This is one lesson I learnt the hard way, especially when I became the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Another reason, it is difficult to trust people is that a lot of people are not really who they portray themselves to be, in the little time that I have spent on this earth, I have come across many great pretenders who pretend so well that if not for the Holy Spirit, you can never know who they truly are on the inside.

Thus, the Bible says in Psalm 118:8:

“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Believe me, no one can be trusted except God. You think your Special Assistant can be trusted? Wait until things begin to get heated up and you would see another side of that same loyal servant. I laugh when I see wealthy men who put so much trust in their bodyguards. How much can you pay a man with a family at home for him to take a bullet for you? You trust your accountant with your money? Fine, but let’s pray the fellow never disappoints you.

Our God is a jealous God and the moment He sees that you trust someone so much, He finds a way to reveal the weakness of the fellow and then you realize that the person cannot be trusted. Instead of trusting people, trust the grace of God on their lives. This way, you acknowledge that the only way they would not misbehave is by the grace of God. When God sees that you recognize it is only by His grace that a fellow will not disappoint you, then He will make that grace available. Put your trust in God alone.

9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Bible in One Year: Job 29-31

Open Heaven 11 January 2020 Saturday MESSAGE:

A very long time ago, there was a wealthy but stingy man. Whenever his relatives came to ask him for money, he would tell them to go and work for theirs as he worked hard for his. But then, he loved children dearly. He could not refuse a child’s request. His family members discovered this and started to use it against him. Whenever they wanted anything, they would teach their children to make the requests and the rich man would give the children everything they asked for. One day, a relative visited with her child whom she had coached, but when the rich man turned to the child to ask “My dear, what do you want me to give you? The girl said “cookies.” The rich man knew that the child was not asking as taught, so he pretended not to hear, and went into his bedroom to give the mother a chance to teach her child again. The mother told the child to ask for land, money and cars. But when the rich man came out again and asked: “My dear, what do you want?” The child said “Cookies.” That day, the child and her mother went back home with cookies even though the rich man had been willing to give a whole lot more than that.
This is the situation with many Christians today. You have a Father who loves you so much and has promised to attend to all your requests. He just cannot say “No” to any of your requests, yet you ask for small things. Romans 8:32 says it expressly that if He gave His Son’s life for us, then what else could be too big for Him to give? John 15:7 says that as long as you are a true Christian, your will is His command.
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
From today, instead of asking Him for transport fare, ask Him for your own chauffeur-driven car. Instead of asking for house rent, ask him for a mansion in the most expensive area of your city. He said whatever you ask for, He will give you. If you keep asking for transport fare, that’s probably all you will get.

God owns everything in Heaven and on earth. Stop asking Him for mere cookies.

Open Heaven 10 January 2020 Friday MESSAGE:
You would most likely be required to book an appointment if you want to see a great person. If you are lucky to get that appointment and finally get to see him/her you must be brief because if you are not quick enough, he/she could leave you and move to something else. Great people of this world can be like that, but my Jesus, in spite of being the greatest of all, is different. He listens.

Jesus is really busy; in spite of this, the moment He hears the voice of any of His children, He stops everything else He is doing and pays rapt attention to you like He did for Bartimaeus in our Bible reading for today. One thing that gives me joy is not just that He stops everything else that He is doing to listen to me, but that He listens to me alone at that particular time. Jesus could have asked all the blind people around that place to come together since He was about to heal the blind, but He called only Bartimaeus.

I want you to know that Jesus is never too busy to listen to you and you alone. The problem is that most of us don’t call on Him. These days, we talk more about prayers than we actually pray. He is gentle. He will not come into your situation uninvited. He saw that Bartimaeus was blind, yet He asked him what he wanted; He knew the history of the man at the pool of Bethesda yet He asked him if he wanted to be whole. A song writer said “O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.” Take everything to Him in prayer. Many times, we worry about our problems and complain, forgetting to mention them to God; no wonder they linger. Psalm 34:15 tells us:

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.”

Are you feeling discouraged and depressed? Talk to Jesus. Are you anxious about something? Talk to Jesus. Are you experiencing a strong temptation that you might fall? Talk to Jesus. He will leave everything else to listen to you; just talk to Him now.

Business / 7 Tips To Hit 7 Figures In 2020 And Beyond by Kelben: 11:10am On Jan 10, 2020
Making seven figures in 2020 and beyond this decade is not impossible. There are rapidly growing industries and technological advances, and plenty of individuals and businesses will experience growth and financial gain. Remember these habits and strategies to help you attain financial freedom.

1. You must have multiple streams of income.
This is one of the oldest lessons in the book. The more streams of income you create, the more likely your chances of earning seven figures. Sure, one income stream can potentially reach the million-dollar mark, but it can be a bit risky to put all your eggs in one financial basket.

Aside from earned income, where you’re exchanging time for money, you must invest in other streams to free up time while also reaching financial freedom. Passive income is the main way to do so, which you can generate by creating digital products, as one example. Residual income from affiliate marketing or rental-property income can also get you closer to your seven-figure goal. Religion / Open Heaven 9 January 2020- Control That Addiction by Kelben: 1:06pm On Jan 09, 2020
Topic: Control that Addiction (Open Heaven 9 January 2020)

Memorise: “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.” – Proverbs 25:28

Read: Proverbs 16:32 (KJV)

32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Bible in One Year: Job 21-23

Open Heaven 9 January 2020 Thursday MESSAGE:
When we talk about addiction, it is not only a matter of hard drugs. Anger is also something that many people find difficult to control in their lives. The Bible says those who don’t have control over their anger are in the same category as those who say there is no God; they are all fools.

“Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” – Ecclesiastes 7:9

Another seemingly subtle addiction that needs to be controlled is lust. For some men, a lady cannot pass by without them feasting on her body with their eyes. Lust is dangerous as it is equal to adultery and Proverbs 6:26 says adultery will reduce the value of any man to a piece of bread.

Yet another one that needs to be controlled is inordinate ambition. It is good to be ambitious, but having so much ambition that it takes over your mind and your walk with God is dangerous. If you want a promotion so badly that you are willing to commit sin to get it, you need to put your ambition in check. Jesus said in Matthew 6:19-20 that treasures stored on earth will be destroyed or stolen but if you store up your treasures in heaven, if your ambitions are heaven-related, then you are on the right track. Your spending also needs to be controlled. Many people cannot keep money for a long time. As they get, they spend it. This attitude tends to poverty and must be controlled. Proverbs 21:20 says:

“There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.”

Many cannot control how much time they spend on social media. Whenever they pick up their phone, they can be on social media for the next one hour even when they have very important things to do. When they wake up in the morning, instead of praying, the first thing they pick up is their phone. Whatever you cannot control in your life is controlling you. Keep your body under subjection (1 Corinthians 9:27).

Father, give me grace to put everything that should be controlled in my life under control.

Memorise: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Read: Mark 16:17-20 (KJV)

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Bible in One Year: Job 17-20

Open Heaven 8 January 2020 Wednesday MESSAGE:
You can delegate authority, but not power. If you don’t know how to open a car door without its keys but attempt it anyway, you would end up damaging it. A man can be living in divine health, while his wife and children still take ill regularly. Until he gets authority over sickness, even if delegated, there is little he can do. Delegated authority however, always has an expiry date.

For example, the Minister of Justice gets his authority from the President of the nation. This authority is however subject to his/her continued stay in office as the Minister of Justice. A person who already has spiritual authority can delegate some of it to you. Delegated authority however, can only be retained and increased as you witness. Go out and share your testimony with others; tell people about this your God of wonders. The first miracle God performs through you should birth testimonies. If you however, do not tell others about what God did before and use that testimony to win them to Christ, what will be His encouragement to do more through you?

“…for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.” – Mark 1:27

If you want lasting authority over sickness, demons, poverty and the like, then you must be addicted to soul-winning. Has God performed a great miracle through you based on the authority of an anointed man of God? Use that testimony to win souls to the kingdom. As you do so, more and more miracles will be happening through you, and very soon, you would not even need to refer to the authority of that man of God anymore, because God would now have given you your own authority. When Jesus gave His disciples authority over sicknesses and demons in Luke 10, it did not last because they stopped witnessing. When they resumed witnessing, they didn’t need any proclamation before the miracles began to flow again.

Authority can only be retained and increased as you witness about the Lord Jesus Christ.

Religion / How To Use Post-purchase Engagement Strategy To Increase Product Sales by Kelben: 5:09pm On Jan 07, 2020
Acquiring skills on how to use a post-purchase engagement strategy to increase product sales are cheaper.
According to the Harvard Business Review, acquiring a new customer is anywhere from five to 25 times more expensive than retaining an existing one. So, after the hard work you put into turning someone into a customer, you need to make sure you keep them around.

Because when a customer sticks around for a long time, they’ll become loyal to your brand and they’ll purchase from you over and over again.

For example, suppose a customer has bought a new dress, you can send out an email along with the delivery update, which can educate the customer regarding different ways that dress can be worn. Furthermore, you can suggest relevant accessories and more. Read more here>>http://www.successdigestonline.com/how-to-use-post-purchase-engagement-strategy-to-increase-product-sales/

Memorise: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” – Luke 10:19

Bible in One Year: Job 14-16

Open Heaven 7 January 2020 Tuesday MESSAGE:
According to Acts 1:8, the moment you are baptized with the Holy Ghost, you have received power. But as we learnt yesterday, you need to go beyond the level of power to the level of authority. However, authority will only come when you go out to witness. That is why in Mark 16:17, Jesus said “And these signs shall follow…..” In other words, if you stay in one place- you won’t exhibit the signs, but if you go out to witness- the signs will follow you. Acts 10:38 says:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Although Jesus had been anointed with the Holy Ghost and with power, He did not stop there; He “went about” and because He did, He was able to heal all that were oppressed of the devil.

Peter and John were amongst the seventy disciples that Jesus sent out on evangelism in Luke 10. While they had been unable to cast out demons before then, by the time they went out preaching the gospel and returned, the demons had become subject to them (Luke 10:17). Still they did not understand the secret of this authority they had over demons, so they stopped evangelizing. It was on the resumption of their evangelistic activities, after Jesus had left them, that they were able to make the lame man at the Beautiful Gate walk.

Many Christians pray that they should also be able to heal the sick and raise the dead, but God is wondering why. They don’t go out to witness, not even in their office or to their neighbors, so why do they need signs and wonders? The signs are for unbelievers to believe (John 4:48) so if you are not ready to witness to them, please forget about signs and wonders. They are reserved strictly for those who witness for Jesus Christ.
