Meaning I should travel to Lagos to their office to inquire more. I have my CAC and some company dox but with the way things are going here, I have to relocate and do some work and not trying to be boss here with nothing to show for it. For bank statement how much dem need as balance?. Also for hotels, maybe a day or two is OK but got to find the cheapest oooooo cos i get peeps wey go accommodate me dia pending when I get a job.(I have OND,HND,PGD in computer science and my aim is to go and make some dough to do Msc in Europe or US). I need detailed step of how u got yours.

Once again, l wanna appreciate you guys...just back from Dubai after a short relaxation...Good place nice people massive tourism. I stayed at Deira @ al-Maktoum bridge area, was at Deira market, eat Eba at biggs place on Sabka road. Lots of fun and sightseeing.

The next thing is to see if l can get a good job

All on D.I.Y just under 4days with 3month visa granted.

They just list the deposit at times but they do not require it. I never paid any deposit sha. But l booked emirate for boarding. In all the expenses can look like visa - 30k, hotel - 830 Dirham (depending on the days you are using times 86.) and Flight ( you have 230k now).

No letter from my employer, just pay slip and bank statement. And is you have any visa not more than two years you can include it.

If you have all this you are good to go.

hi, this is very untrue, the above responce from wakanow is a true response , wakanow dont do more than 14days visa for anyone, however for vfs , i dont know why they told you that you need a securuty deposit of $1500, this is amazing, and i dont think you should go down that road better to get your 3months visa on your own or make your emplyment visa on your own and head to dubai on your own, if you get your 3months tourist visa you can secure a job if you follow the right channels and the right people, however if you dont get i would advice to look for per-time jobs that pay 40-50dhr daily so you can make some money for your self, because most mistakes people do when the come here is just to seat down and hope for someone to give them a job...

My brother na true talk be that oooooo. VFS stated it in their website sef. Even take a look at it here http://dubaivisa.net/nigeria/know_your_visa_type.html I am really confused as you said earlier that I should get the 90days visa by myself. VFS and wakanow are a reliable source to get it. Do you know any other sources I can get it apart from VFS and Wakanow. All help will be appreciated.

After my last post, I wrote to wakanow and VFS global about my case and this is the reply I got:

Please be informed that currently we only process 2 weeks service visa to Dubai.

This means the visa can only allow you stay in Dubai for not more than 14 days.

For the time being, this is what obtains as Dubai immigration has made certain amendments regarding Nigerian visa applications.

Thank you for the mail and your interest to secure a Dubai visa. The answers to your questions are in RED below;


1) I plan on traveling to Dubai with Ethiopia Airways but part of the requirement for the visa procurement from your website is a confirmed booked Emirates airline ticket, Please can I procure the visa with Ethiopia airways without purchasing the Emirates airline ticket? We ONLY process applicants with CONFIRMED EMIRATE TICKET.

2) I plan on staying with a close friend in Dubai during my stay, Do I still need a hotel reservation ticket? Nope, you don’t need a CONFIRMED HOTEL if you are staying with a friend. All that is required of you is to GET a RESIDENCE PERMIT from your friend with a FORM of LETTER from the DUBAI GOVERNMENT stating that HE will accommodate you for the duration of your STAY.

3) From the criteria listed in your website, I have not been to the countries listed there, does it mean I am not eligible to apply and get the visa? You are eligible to apply and get a visa but You will need to make a SECURITY DEPOSIT OF $1,550. before you are processed which is exclusive of your VISA FEE.

4) As part of the criteria needed, I can provide my bank statement for six months or letter from my bank. I hope I will be eligible to secure the visa? Here, you will require you Submit a Letter from your Employer (Company), 6 month Salary Slips, 6 months Bank Statement and a Letter from the bank.

I have been reading the trend and I am highly interested in UAE. I want to have a 90 days visa so that I can go and search for jobs there. I have sending CV's through dubbizle and bayt sites and three companies replied but they needed me to be there. From the first page I read all details and even went to Abuja to authenticate my dox in min. of education and foreign affairs. Also I discovered that egypt and ethopia airways are the cheapest(150k - 170k) but when I searched http://dubaivisa.net/nigeria/index.html they required a client to use emirates which is on the high side and also make a security deposit of 1500usd or bank statements of six months showing say i get money here. Please can peeps here help me with the way and documents they used to get a 90 days visa as I want use egypt or ethopia. Emirates dey costly as buying it will affect my BTA.

I even searched http://dnrd.ae/en/Services/Pages/default.aspx but I no see any relevant way to getting the visa on a D.I.Y package. Please help me out. I dont want to go through agents as one even told me to bring 461k for only visa not even inclusive of flight and BTA. If i put those ones the money to reach 1.1mill. Na waaaa for dem agents oooo. Please help a brother
