How to be in control of your financial life

In 2020, during the covid-19 outbreak, due to the lockdown…
Alot of people found it difficult to live a comfortable life…
As shops and offices were shut down.

But a few people were able to earn decent money…
Even though they didn't physically leave their houses.

These set of people are the ones who made money online…
They were either selling products online…
Or offering services to people who needed them (what is known as freelancing).

You see, earning online will enable you to grab the wheels of your financial life…
And be in control of your finances. Because you can work from ANYWHERE…
As long as you have a smartphone, or a laptop and an internet connection..

There's a myriad of online businesses you could start today, and high income skills you can learn and offer them as services in exchange for decent money…

Some of them include;

●Affiliate marketing
● Mini-importation
●Copywriting
●Graphic designing
●Virtual Assistance
●Drop shipping
●UI/UX design

Pick one of them and research it. Go to YouTube and watch videos about it. Use Google. Start practising from somewhere. They are not get-rich-quick schemes, but if you are consistent and patient, they'll pave your way to riches.

If you want to shed a few Lbs, replace your high card diets with proteins...

Proteins reduce the hunger hormone and boosts the satiety hormones. They also increase the body's metabolism and you can burn huge amounts of calories as much as 50-80 in a day.

Before You start that business, read this!

Do you know why most businesses fail?

Most times it's not because their products are not the best or standard…

It's simply because they don't understand their customer needs…

There is no business without customers. Infact, customers are one of the most important factors of a successful business…

You could have the best product in the world but if you don't have people to sell it to, you won't make a dime.

Before you create a product, here's what you should ask yourself;

●What need(s) does this product solve?

●Who will buy this product?

● What are my customers like?

●What are their pains or needs?

Understanding your customers' needs, pains and goals will help you tailor your product to them…

No matter how good your product looks or sounds, if it doesn't help them achieve any of those things, they won't swipe their credit cards…

Your product is about your customers…

Not about you.

Nobody cares about how good your product is…

They're more interested in what it will do for them.

If you look up all these billionaires you celebrate today…

You'll notice something common among them…

They solve a need.

Bill Gates(Microsoft), Elon Musk (Tesla), Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook) , Larry PAGE (Google) etc.
They all solve a need and that is why they are billionaires today…

If you want to become rich, solve a need. It's simple, people pay you for the need you solve.

If you're selling food, you're solving a hunger problem. People will pay you to solve that problem by buying what you're selling…

If you notice a particular need and build a product that solves that need, people will beg you to take their money and get the solution to their problems…

This also applies to services, not just products. Take for instance, copywriting (using words to sell)...

Business owners will pay you huge sums of money as a copywriter ( if you're good at it) because you're helping them make money through sales…

You've solved a need and they're happy to pay you for it!

That's how it works. Solve a need and people will pay you for it.

The greatest investment you'll ever make is in yourself.

Money does not make you rich. Financial knowledge is what makes you rich…

If you understand the principles and laws of money…

And you apply them consistently, you'll never be poor again…

For instance, don't buy liabilities, buy assets…

An asset is anything that adds money to your pocket…
For example, real estate. A liability on the other hand is something that takes money away from your pocket…

For example, your car.

Rich people accumulate more assets which pays for their liabilities…

Don't be reluctant about investing in yourself. Buy good books, pay for courses, pay for mentorship programs...

These things will help smoothen your financial path and bring you closer to creating wealth.

This could be holding you back


Some of you grew up in a home where you got used to hearing "I don't have money", "Money is the root of all evil", "Rich people are greedy" blah blah blah…

This formed your paradigm…

What is paradigm?

Paradigm is a set of mental beliefs which have been passed to you by someone else…

Your paradigm affects the way you see things…It controls you.

You need to have a mental shift to break away from some of these beliefs which you unconsciously formed…

Whatever you consciously hear, you subconsciously believe…

Your subconscious mind doesn't think, like your conscious mind…

It accepts anything that comes into it…

That is why…

To break away from this mental barrier which could be holding you back, you must first acknowledge that they exist..

And that you can change them.

It takes alot of time, but if you take conscious actions towards having a paradigm shift, you can break away from these mental barriers and live your desired life.

How to manifest your dream life

In our physics class in secondary school, we were told that 'Opposite poles attract, and Like poles repel'...

But that's not how it works in real life…
In real life, like attracts like. This is called the Law of attraction.

It's a spiritual principle that says that you manifest what you focus your thoughts on.

Your life is the product of your thoughts. The kind of thoughts you focus on determines the kind of experiences you have in life.

If you think positive things, you have positive experiences..
If you focus on negative things, negativity won't leave you.

Simply put, you attract into your life what you focus your thoughts on. Your thoughts manifest your reality.

If you think every opportunity online is a scam, you'll always be scammed. Because you've conditioned your mind to think that way, and the universe is only giving you back the energy you gave it.

The law of attraction doesn't mean you should just think about success and do nothing then success will land on your dinning table…

It doesn't work that way…
While you focus on success, you have to put in the work.

Success is the reward for hardwork...and smart work. Either ways, there's work there.

Set goals that are;

●Specific
●Measurable
●Time-bound
●Attainable.

Focus your thoughts on achieving that goal. You wanna make money? Think about money( I'm not by any means saying you should put money above every other thing), read books that teach how to make money, watch videos, attend seminars, implement like there's no tomorrow.

Don't limit yourself with a scarcity mindset, if you do, you'd never have enough. It's how the universe works, you attract the life you want.

Jump on legit opportunities when you see them, don't think too much about it…

You don't make money by thinking, you make money by acting...Acting with the right knowledge or information!

Why you are where you are.

Do you know why Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Mark Cuban and every other billionaire you admire are where they are?

It's not because they are lucky. It's not because they are smarter than you and I. But what sets them apart from us is the fact that they have a billionaire mindset.

It's true, you can't be what you can't see. Now I don't mean what you can't see with your physical eyes…

I mean what you can't see with your "mind's eyes".

THE MIND HAS EYES? WHAT IS THIS GUY SAYING?!!

Hold up, the mind's eyes is the part of your brain that helps you visualize things. Helps you imagine things…

So many people have a blinded mind eye and that's why they end up as mediocres, average people.

If you can't see yourself reaching a certain level in life, I can assure you that you won't be able to attain that level…

Because it begins with you. When your mind's eyes are working, you'll be able to see opportunities all around you.

People who complain about how hard life is and how hard the country is are people who can't see with their mind.

Think about it, the country is hard but people are buying lands, building houses and changing cars…

When you condition your mind to think of scarcity, you'll never see abundance. It's the law of attraction (I'll talk about it in the next post). You attract what you constantly think about.

If you think abundance, you see abundance…
If you think scarcity...money will always be scarce to you.

These are but a few of the pros of the Internet. But more importantly, the Internet has engineered a shift in the pattern of wealth creation.

You can make so much money online without leaving the comfort of your bed…

All you need is a smart phone or laptop, an Internet connection and the right business..or skill.

There are so many LEGIT businesses online today that can help you live a comfortable life..even as a teenager, a stay-at-home mum or a head teacher in a secondary school…

You can do these businesses as a side hustle, since all you need is your smartphone..

The first thing you need is the right mindset. If you're the type that thinks everything that has "online" tagged to it is scam…

Then you can stop reading right here…

This post won't make any sense to you if you're that kind of person.

Because like I said, it's the first and most important thing. If you have the wrong mindset, things can never be right. You see, how you see things (perception) is a reflection of your mindset.
