kingthreat: You all thinking this is a loss to Russia indeed. First of all, Kiev was never the target. The Special Military Operation was for denazification, deweaponization and the liberation of the Luhansk people's republic and Donestsk People's Republic. The reason why countries are putting their embassies back in Kiev is simply because they have realized that taking Kiev is not the priority. The reason for the attacks near Kiev in the first place was to put pressure on the Ukrainian forces from all angles. Then tactically withdraw back to the Donbass. The world has to accept that Ukraine will not control the Donbass any more. That what most people don't understand |

FrancisDiote: This is the main temptation. Russia must avoid Kyiv at all cost because once one fatality is recorded in the US embassy as a result of Russian invasion could lead to US retaliating and of course directly getting involved.
This one na temptation USA has already done their worst Or you think USA will attack Russia |

2) Losing their flagship war vessel
3) Losing important generals
4) Finland and Sweden getting ready to join NATO. New NATO neighbors at Putin’s border... Lol
5) Re-opening of the embassies of these western countries, meaning no fucck is being given
Russia is overrated so relax USA lost expensive helicopter in Vietnam and Afghan There was a time a full squad of seal team got eliminated in the war Those are mere losses Compared to what Ukraine is losing Odessa, mayupo , east Ukraine (most economical part of Ukraine ) after the war Ukraine will no longer have access to the sea So what Ukraine lost can't be replaced In 50 years time. So stop living in delusion Ukraine Azov battalion surrendering In mass

Cantonese: Very stupid and badly calculated move by Putin. The vampire thought that possession of nuclear arms would make Ukrainians chicken out quickly. There was a very peaceful Europe until this evil man thought that some unseen enemies were at the doorsteps of the Russians.
The war has gone on for over two months and with many more months to go, if Putin fails to make a peace agreement and get his troops off the soil of the Ukrainians. The Russian citizens, who have friends and family mixed with the Ukrainians have many years of tears, sorrow and apologies ahead to offer the Ukrainians.
Once again I sincerely hope that that maniac is removed by one of his sane generals and replaced by another like Gorbachev who craved for a whole of peace and love. Lol it is a gradual process And Ukraine is losing all her territory |

linearity: What is Turkey’s contribution to NATO?
Yes, all 30 member countries must vote to allow new members, Turkey is in NATO for their own protections and their concerns is about the two countries refusing to sell them military equipment and about the Kurdish party that the USA also supports and Turkey can do nothing about.
Once USA the real owner and major NATO financier steps and send envoys to NATO, they will iron out everything and Turkey will walk the straight line. Turkey is a strategic place for NATO. 2nd largest military in NATO |

Fuckyoumod: nuclear war. Nuclear war.. nuclear war....
You think nuclear war is beans. You think Russia is in for a nuclear war. Is it not shameful that Russia is talking about nuclear war against the poorest country in Europe?
Do you know how many nuclear Warheads would be detonated on Russia soil? See, putin miscalculated, his chief intelligence officer misled Putin. They thought taking Ukraine was a 3 days walk over. They thought by invading Ukraine NATO would say ok, Ukraine don't join again be neutral.
See Putin is confused on how to stop the senseless war, but sadly the effects he created is irreversible. Ordinary Ukraine, NATO and U.S wan fight you are such a joke I pray we never witness one to find out the real results But NATO is a trouble some organization |
Foreign Affairs › Re: The Ukrainian Government Has Negotiated For The And Evacuation Of It Solider by ken6488(m): 1:43pm On May 18, 2022 |
firstone: The Ukrainian government has negotiated for the surrender and evacuation of the remaining Ukrainian defenders in Mariupol, which were positioned in the underground bunkers of the Azovstal Steel Plant and defended the city for more than 80 days.
This was after Kyiv ordered the remaining troops to yield to Russian forces to keep them alive, as food and ammunition has become scarce, many and injured and needed medical attention, and due to relentless Russian bombing.
Russia took in more than 250 Ukrainian troops, most of them from the injured members of the Azov Regiment, and were said to have been brought to medical facilities in Russian-controlled areas for treatment, and to a prison facility for processing.
Many more are believed to still be inside the labyrinth of tunnels underneath the Azovstal Steel Plant, although it remains to be seen if they will surrender or not despite Ukrainian Pres. Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself declaring their mission is over and ordering their surrender.
This development confirm that Russia is now in full control of Mariupol.
While Russia said it would follow international rules on Prisoners of War, there are concerns on the fate of these soldiers, since Russia is expected to pin them due to the Azov Regiment's connections to Neo Nazism.
Also, while it is seen as a defeat for Ukraine, the determination of these remaining Ukrainian troops pinned down Russian forces which could have been deployed elsewhere in the country to support Russia's invasion including stalling and probably stopping Russia from taking Ukraine's largest port city Odessa.
