These folks(ASUU) just dashed my invigored hope. If dey had heeded 2 d pleas frm Nigerians, this death wouldn't hv happened. I'v bin a stranger in my own houz 4 many months(...more ahead), no tnx 2 ASUU's defiant disposition. Initially, dey were askin d FG 2 revamp our Universities(note: i wil stil give dem sortin cos dat has bin fixed in nature). Now, d r holdin 2 d demise of dia comrade which frm my own perspective does nt hinder dem frm suspendin dis strike. Na porting tins dey hungry me now sef. E b like say i go ball in Congo or Mali because e beta pass 9ja 4 now.

UNICAL ASUU support an end 2 d strike.

The Academic Staff Under the auspices of ASUU, University of calabar chapter has advocated for an end to it's current industrial action. It was almost a unanimous agreement by d lecturers. Let's hope d outcome of other chapters come good.

ASUU has been on strike since July 1st with no end in sight as regards the latest reports in the media. Fellow nairalanders, let share the things we'v missed a great deal since the onset of ASUU's industrial action. As for me, i'v missed my hostel(Hall 4 in Unical), our breakfast arena(Uduak bite), night class, feminine frnds et sudry other things.

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian universities(SSANU) this evening suspended it's industrial action it embarked upon almost a fortnight ago.

I was present & saw how it all happened. What happened was dat d guy dat commitd d murder told d deceased about selling their late fathers houz which he(d deceased) refused.

If ur jamb score is gud & u score lyk 255 & above, then u can be sure being admitted. So also, u can still be admittd even without a very high score as long as ur state of origin fall within unical catchment area.

D cut-off will be released when the school mgt knw d rate of pass and failure. If u hv a gud jamb score and did well in the post-utme, then u will be on a safe side. D result is out, so u can check and know where u stand. Welcome, malabite/malabress 2 be.
