miqos02:Thanks for your view. Sometimes I read some comments here and I'm deeply perturbed. People read words but can't comprehend what they have read. Some have their mental cups filled to the brim with jargons that they can't manage a healthy convo. That aside, if this now-turned cankerworm called subsidy is systematically aborted genuinely market forces will determine pump price and let's not forget that NNPC's local production will be part of this market force. It's my prayer that people especially out "first to comment" crazy youths and their peers of same feather will positively apply their academic knowledge more often when publicly expressing their opinions. |
Frankly, the MDCN as a regulatory body is not doing enough in regulating the medical practice in Nigeria. This guy has been renewing his licence annually for about a decade. There is an online platform, its barely fully functional. Do they act on information? No! That's aside the fact that in every suburb, there is at least 1 fake/quack doctor including the so-called foreign trained. If the MDCN could be half as effective as the pharmacists' body, the tale would have been different today. Instead, it sits in a luxury complex making life difficult for its legitimate members with its exorbitant fees and bottlenecks. Imagine the confusion and embarassment those who went for nysc faced earlier this year because of its inadequacies amongst others. The mdcn should take a leaf from south africa's HPCSA or UK's GMC to learn effective regulation! |
Erm, if you have peptic ulcer disease or gastritis (usually pain in your upper abdomen when your stomach is empty or when you are stressed), AVOID garlic on an empty stomach or at least mix with honey before taking. Chewing and swallowing in whole would at the end give same effects safe for thhe halitosis though cos garlic's compounds can be excreted in sweat and urine too. |
While the illustration given above can best be described as overly exaggerated, its also not entirely false. Like small balloons in a plastic container with water, our body organs are not rigidly fixed structures per se, so deforming/reshaping the outer container should (considering simple day to day physics) alter the positions of structures within the container- medically this would predispose to: Herniation (from weakness in d outer abdominal wall), Volvulus (twisting of structures upon itself or its attachment), to mention but a few all becos if increased intra-abdominal pressure. Used consistently over a long time (esp those who are not athletic/physically fit), while going about your normal activities, which would involve bending, laughing, coughing, feeding, farting/holding fart, bearing weights., etc the above complications and those not mentioned above are most likely going to manifest. Let's be careful all the same. |
