Fashion / How To Contour Like A Professional by kennyfela: 9:49pm On Aug 20, 2016
Contouring has been a beauty secret of many stars and supermodel for far too long, but is now the makeup trend everyone is talking about! Why contour, you say?
STEP BY STEP TRICK

If you usually wear foundation, begin with this to give yourself a good base to work onto.
When you are ready to begin contouring, suck your cheeks in! Using an angled blusher brush sweep the Bronzing powder into the now pronounced hollow of your cheekbone. Sweep diagonally towards your ear lobe using firm but light strokes to blend the bronzer into place.
To define and soften the profile of your face, work the blusher brush across your jawline. For those ..... Read more here : https://banksbmpro.com/2016/08/19/how-to-contour-like-a-professional/

Fashion / How To Apply Eyeshadow by kennyfela: 8:50pm On Jul 05, 2016
Eyeshadow 101

The basic concept of any eyeshadow design is to shape and shade in a well-blended progression of light to dark colors. Three key points to keep in mind:

Light colors will highlight or emphasize shallow areas.
Dark colors will recede or minimize fuller, more prominent areas.
Always load your brushes with a small amount of color since it is easier to add more eyeshadow than to remove it........

Fashion / How To Create A Smokey Eye Effect by kennyfela: 6:54pm On Feb 10, 2016
1
Prep your eyelids. Apply a concealer, foundation, or eye primer to your eyelids. You can do this with your finger or with a small concealer brush.
2
Apply the eyeliner to your upper water line. This will help make your lashes look fuller and your eyes look larger. Be sure to warm your eyeliner up by drawing on the back of your hand before starting. To apply:
Raise your chin and gently lift the outer corner of your eyelid upward to expose your waterline (the strip of skin between your eyelashes and your eyeballs).
With your dominant hand, hold the eyeliner vertically and gently run its tip back and forth a few times, stopping about 3/4 of the way in toward your inner eye corner.3

3
Apply eyeshadow to your eyelid. If you’re using more than 1 shade of eyeshadow, use the lightest (for 2-shade method) or middle (for 3-shade method) shade on your eyelid.
Use an eyeshadow brush to apply the eyeshadow. Be sure to blow lightly on the brush after dipping it into the shadow to help with an even application. This will also prevent any additional eyeshadow from falling onto your cheeks.
If you don’t have an eyeshadow brush, you can use your ring finger. Start in the middle of your eyelid and use your finger to pat the shadow back and forth on your lid.
4
Apply eyeshadow to your eye crease. If you’re using the 2- or 3-shade method, apply the darkest shade of eyeshadow to your eye crease. If you’re only using one shade of eyeshadow, apply that to your eye crease..... Read more on: www.banksbmpro.com

Nairaland / General / From Airlord To Foreignlords, The World Of Nigeria's Sex-trafficking 'air Lords' by kennyfela: 9:37am On Jan 27, 2016
From Airlord to Foreignlords, The world of Nigeria's sex-trafficking 'Air Lords' | Last year, the BBC's Sam Piranty was given access by the Catalan police, Mossos D'Esquadra, to an investigation into a Nigerian sex-trafficking gang. He spoke to traffickers and women rescued from sexual slavery before filming an early morning raid in November, which led to 23 arrests. He also discovered that the gang is now using London as a gateway into Europe.
It's 08:00 in the Catalan Police Headquarters on the outskirts of Barcelona and Xavi Cortes, head of the anti-trafficking unit, waits patiently for his 22 teams to confirm they are in position. Finally, he gives the order.
Two-hundred-and-fifty officers quietly climb out of their police vans. Single file, each team approaches a residential building watched by a few surprised neighbours.
On reaching the door, one of the masked police officers uses his fingers to count down. Three, two, one. The door is knocked down, the silence shattered, the officers rush inside.
The raid results in the arrest of the leaders of a Nigerian-based group running an international sex-trafficking ring in Barcelona. It's known as the Supreme Eiye Confraternity (SEC), or the Air Lords, and 23 people are now behind bars, with European Arrest Warrants issued for those who have left the country....Read more from bbc>>> www.bbc.com/news/magazine-35244148

Nairaland / General / Meet Bmpro Covergirl For January...... Dakore Egbuson Akande by kennyfela: 8:03pm On Jan 18, 2016
From various acting roles, to becoming The Pampers Ambassador, to being on the frontline as MOBOs Clothing Ambassador as she wears their Collections so Beautifully, Dakore never ceases to Amaze me. I had the opportunity to watch her on set as the Promotional Clips for Fifty:The Movie were being recorded. She belted out her lines with such ease and perfection, I had to ask the Director if she was reading through a Tele-prompter! No breaks, 1st take and she was done…. Have you seen her as the Rich and Fabulous Tola in the movie? I shed tears in the dark as I watched her emotional outburst as a Victim of Child Abuse…. Find her in other movies like Lunchtime Heroes, a film by Seyi Babatope; Unconditional with Uche Jombo amongst others…

Dakore is also very actively involved in voluntary work for Action Aid Nigeria. Its an Ngo involved in raising money for developmental projects in Nigeria like building roads, schools, vocational training for the youth and underpriviledged, advocating womens rights. We got talking about some of their challenges and successes and I was bowled over. To donate and be a part of this cause, go to www.actionaid.org-/community

Came across the DakoreMumsworldblog for Cow&Gate, a forum /platform for young mothers, discussing the challenges of motherhood, infant feeding, weaning and everything related. Real mothers discuss real issues on there and I could totally relate.

So very thorough and professional, im always in awe of Dakores work ethics, acting skills, dedication to her projects. Dakore is never late to a set and if she is running behind schedule, calls to notify and apologize…very refreshing and endearing in an industry where some think making people wait is a sign of their superstar status….. Many can attest to the fact that she is a delight to work with, I call her an All-Rounder. I guess that is why she has her hands full and schedule filled, as everyone wants a piece of DAX…

Her beautiful features, imperfect eyebrow(a reminder from her childhood)which has become a constant feature on her face, is every BMPro makeup artists dream ( YES! We discuss her at our weekly roundtable and how everything just pops on her!)…. Extremely long and full lower eyelashes make you.....Read More Here.... http://banksbmpro.com/2016/01/18/3196/

Annunaki:

You honestly know vvery little about islam, it will be better you do a little research first before making pronouncement on aa 'religion' you know next to nothing about. For starters do you know that there are over a hundred verses in the Quran instructing Muslims to commit acts of terror and hate against non muslims?
I guess you talking about yourself, please let me have the verses you talking about

tswitch:

Are Muslims no longer Islamic?
Your febble attempt of an excuse just helps to buttress the truth.
The fundamentals of the teachings of Islam and it's over glorified prophet is hate and strive.
With all my decades on earth and years perusing world history I am still searching for a Buddhist or Hindus terror movement as recent development and ancient history has shown.
you don't understand , Islam is just a word that stand for ONE GOD, like our the Christians Arab call GOD , ALLAH, the saddest thing is the west produce the weapon and stupid terrorist use it to kill innocent people but the unbelievable SATs shows they have killed more Muslims , is very sad.

Islam from time memorial breeds terror, violence and wanton destruction.
Is that a characteristic of love or hate?
Over to you OP.
No not Islam but Some Muslims....Islam means believing in one GOD, so plz stop mixing both, these is even a mistake by Muslim cause believing in one GOD came before the religion stated

Is Grammy award winning artist SAM SMITH a Moslem?
Found this post on Facebook, thought it might interest you.
Post starts below.
Kindly share if you believe that ‪#‎IslamisNOTterrorism‬.
We don't have to be famous superstar musicians or billionaire oil barons or incorruptible politicians to change the world.
Everyone has the power to impact change in the world in his or her own individually unique ways.
Just as is exemplified in the article below.
Nigerian Christian Man composes and sings song to remind the world that Islam is Not terrorism.
Features Grammy award winning artist SAM SMITH?
There is a problem
With the human race.
And its happening,
In this time and age.
I know you're angry
But I'm living in pain.
Misery and suffering
And people dying.
Did the above lines strike a chord somewhere deep inside of you?
Then how will you feel when you listen to it as a song accompanied by a montage of pictures?
Did you know that Sam Smith was featured on this song?
Nope, he wasn't, just kidding.
Seriously though, some weeks ago, a lot of Nigerians were upset at other Nigerians for using France's flag as a Facebook Profile picture in solidarity for the terrorist attack that claimed over a hundred lives, their excuse was that Nigerians, France and other Countries were not showing enough solidarity for the TERRORIST ATTACKS happening back home in Nigeria. In other-words they were saying "NIGERIANS were not showing enough SOLIDARITY for NIGERIANS".
Well, I am a Nigerian, and i am not a MUSLIM and this is my own way of expressing myself in support of the 'WAR AGAINST TERRORISM' not only in Nigeria, but across the world.
What are you doing about it?
If u don't support TERRORISM in any way, then listen to the song, LIKE and SHARE it till it gets to those whose lives can be uplifted just by listening to it.
Otherwise just move along with your petty "non-solidarity" comments.
Song title: RESCUE ME.
