Wadeoye: People there are not after oratory skill - what they want is good governance that only a man of integrity can bring. Of course, Buhari is not the best orator in the North - the only thing that stands him out is his integrity and zero tolerance for corruption.
It is only in the south that how well you can speak english qualifies you for leadership. The reason we have many criminals parading as political leaders and religious leaders.
In another word, not everybody can pull that crowd in the north no matter your oratory skill. so you mean to tell me that the people in that stadium are proponents of good governance? or they are merely there on the orders of their district heads who is probably on a commission?, |

Wadeoye: @Kenny_G, why not ask GEJ to gather 1/5 of that crowd and lets see? meaning? My question is what oratory skills/charisma/personality do you really need to amass any crowd in the northen part of the country? The bottom line is the orientation is different up there and as long as the Village head/seriki is in support of the candidate then the people tend to follow suit. GEJ like any other non-hausa man would struggle to upstage the likes of buhari who one would expect still commands considerable influence with the ruling clique, |

come to think of it is it really that difficult to gather a crowd in the north? |

McCoy91: Dude, torres has got nothing on suarez. Granted, he played in a 'lower' league than the premiership but that guy scored 35 goals in 33 matches. Torres doesn't even match him in skill dirk kuyt scored 83 goals in 122 games, Kezman-98 in 128, Jardel scored 166 in 169 all in somewhat lesser leagues so that record by suarez is nothing until he can produce in the epl. By the way how many goals has he got to his name since he signed for liverpool? +1 above Torres' record for chelsea, |
no band boyz 2day? pool got a better bargain in torres/saurez deals, torres is a spent force compare 2 d zeal & pace of saurez the EPL is now open 4 d top 5teams
I totally disagree, for one torres is quicker than suarez and over the course of a season would probably score more goals. In any case, torres sale had nothing to do with suarez as the club was already in talks with ajax about signing him. What you should look at is whether Liverpool got a better deal the £35m signing of Carroll. |
