greetings bro. please i am very very new into coding,python to be precise. i dont know how to go about it. i have been going through the manuals and other stuffs but i am yet to make a head or tail of it. i first installed version 3.7 but later revert back into 2.7 thinking the later version will be more comprehensible, but to no avail still. i did download a video recommended on the python page for beginners but that video looks shallow. please i need ur suggestions, recommendations and advice on how to get started and how it will be easier for me. thanks, i await your reply.

You don't need to revet to older version of py. Continue with version you downloaded. Py version 3.x is the future of python. You have ran your first program in python by running the 'hello world'. All you need it to study python syntax and practice as you study. You can download pycham. It is a python IDE where write your code and run it. It is a great IDE for py. Know also that you can have more than one versions of python install on your system and code with any of them you want.

Not yet. the proposed 2017/2018 calender just came out yestarday. and the calender is only for returning students(if am not mistaking) and it states 3rd december as resumption etc.
