ADAMAWA SUICIDE BOMB ATTACKS ON A MOSQUE TRAGIC

*FG ORDERS SECURITY BEEFED UP AROUND MARKETS AND PLACES OF WORSHIP

The Federal Government is shocked and outraged by the suicide bomb attacks on a Mosque and a Market in Mubi, Adamawa State, today, May 1, 2018. This desecration of a place of worship by criminals is tragic and condemnable.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, expresses condolences to the victims and their families, and to the Government and people of Adamawa State.

The Vice President has been in touch with the State Governor Bindow Umaru Jibrilla, and has also directed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to ensure the speedy and adequate provision of medical supplies and relief materials to the victims.

He also expresses the gratitude of the Federal Government to the rescue workers and medical personnel who attended to the victims.

Security agencies have been directed to immediately take steps to beef up security in Mubi and environs, especially markets and places of worship. The agencies are also working to apprehend the criminals behind this act and bring them to justice.

BEWARE OF POLITICAL MASQUERADES IN THE CHRISTIAN FOLD

STATEMENT BY THE FORUM OF UNITED NIGERIANS AGAINST DIVISIVE ELEMENTS, FUNADE

This Christian Awake message is either from politicians masquerading as concerned Christians and there are many or from a truly misinformed concerned person.

But let us set out the facts. There is no truth at all in the allegation that Buhari is a Jihadist or is in support of Fulani herdsmen killings.

Let us first remind ourselves that it was under a Christian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo that 12 Northern States of Nigeria declared Sharia law. If this had happened under a Fulani President, you can imagine what the religious politicians would say.

Second it was under a Christian President, Goodluck Jonathan that the Boko Haram insurgency arose. The religious politicians who were benefiting from Jonathan, who he gave N7billion in February 2014 to share amongst themselves, then said Buhari and APC were Islamists who were behind the Boko Haram to make the country ungovernable for Jonathan.

The lies continued until Boko Haram attacked Buhari in Kaduna, killing five of his family members and aides and nearly killing him. The same Boko Haram under Jonathan abducted 200 largely Christian girls from Chibok. The government did nothing.

It was Buhari’s government that eventually started bringing them home. We May have forgotten that under the Christian Jonathan’s regime that Boko Haram attacked police headquarters and UN offices in Abuja. They attacked churches and mosques, schools and other public places all under a Christian President.

A few examples: On January 6, 2012,12 persons and 12 Christian worshipers were killed in the twin attacks in Adamawa State.

Also on February 25, 2012, A Boko Haram suicide bomber detonated himself at a church in Jos, Plateau State, killing 6 worshippers.

In April, suspected Boko Haram gunmen attacked a church in Kano and Maiduguri, where at least 19 people were killed.

On August 12, 2013, an attack on a Maiduguri mosque killed 56 people; and in November 3, 2014, a suicide bombing attack in Yobe State killed 15 Shiites.

Between January 2012 and May, 2015, there have been several attacks on churches.

For instance, on June 7, 2012 in Kaduna State, 19 persons were killed in bomb attacks against three churches.

On August 7, 2012, Boko Haram gunmen killed another 19 persons when they attacked a Deeper Life Church in Kogi State.

Similarly, on December 22, 2014, a suicide bomber detonated explosives at the gates of a church during service, killing 8 persons.

And on New Year’s day on January 1,2015, a suicide bomber died in an attempt to bomb ECWA Church II, behind the State University in Gombe.

In the same period farmer- herdsmen clashes took place in Benue, Plateau, and other places.

How is it that the authors of this write-up pretend not to know that Fulani herdsmen have killed more people in Zamfara, (an almost 90% Muslim State,) than both Benue and Taraba put together? And that almost everyone killed is Muslim? Or that over 800 Fulanis were killed in the Mambilla Plateau?

So the attack on a church in Gwer local government by mad men at 5am in the morning must be blamed on the President.

Where is your sense of fairness and justice? Why is it that you cannot see the hand of politicians desperate to discredit Buhari on his security credentials in this? What better way to create chaos and blame it on the President than walking into a church and killing worshippers? Where have you heard before that Fulanis many of whom are Bororos not even Muslims will go and attack a church?

Why have you not blamed the bombing of mosques in Adamawa State where dozens died last November on Buhari. So the fact that a Fulani is President and there are clashes basically over land and water means that it must be his fault?

Everyone who falsely accuses another of murder will not escape the judgment of God. Christians must not be propagators of falsehood especially sponsored by the opposition most of who want to return to continue the open and despicable looting that Buhari has now stopped.

By the way, the choice of Yemi Osinbajo in the ACN, ANPP, CPC, New PDP alliance that brought about the APC, was not Buhari’s choice. It was the choice of the Tinubu- led ACN. An alliance essentially between the North and the Southwest of Nigeria. In two previous failed presidential campaigns of Buhari, his running mates were from the South East: Ume-Ezeoke and Chuba Okadigbo. So it's simply nonsense to suggest that Buhari chose Osinbajo in order to buy the silence of Christians.

There is an African proverb that says, the road construction engineer has finish his job, the talkative takes over. It is no news that interests in the rule of the game of politics and kulaks like shaka momodu is a tool in the hands of corrupt element trying hard to come back to power in Nigeria, but the people are wiser.

Today I read through his piece, I understand him to be a paid PDP apologist and writer whose activities are dictated by the blower of his piper, his seemingly substance less piece addressed to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is encapsulated in grudge, mindset and hatred.

Some people who cannot manage a home of five people successfully but they can point accusing fingers to a person who have served diligently in different organizations before becoming a national leader of the country, yet never relent, still hungry for success in all positive ways for the benefit of his people and to block all conduit pipes of treasury looters for the sake of country, citizens and the unborn generations. These among others make enemies of the state and people got mad.

According to Shaka Momodu the offence he picked against the Prof Yemi Osinbajo is based on what he called the principle of conspiracy between the Prof osinbajo and his principal President Muhammadu Buhari to address the incessant killing in Benue, Taraba and other affected states in the country, the unending boko harram insurgency, battle between the cattle herdsmen and the cattle rustler etc. I have realize that people don’t care if politician attack each other with untrue stories, they only think about their welfare forgetting that beyond politics, the Vice President and the president have their life to live.

My concern is not about the untrue stories and heresy composed in the essay but my concern is about how few supposed elites like shaka momodu has took it upon themselves to misinform the public about the good work, ground shaking infrastructure, national social intervention programmes that include a four cardinal point such as N-power, conditional cash transfer (CCT), Government Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Programmes, national home grown school feeding programmes. These programmes are targeted at the youths, women, artisan, craftsman and malnourished children.

WHO IS BIBLICAL DANIEL.
In a haste to fulfill his obligation of writing to his paymaster’s fantasy, mr shaka couldn’t even explain to his readers who biblical Daniel was or maybe mr shaka readers are only Christians, a pointer to his religious bigotry that has held this country down for so long, or maybe shaka momodu himself does not know the biblical Daniel, an attempt to run from this demystification exposes the cluelessness of shaka character.

The Daniel in the bible is a distinguished administrator with exceptional qualities, at this, the administrators and the pundits of his time try to find grounds for charges in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. Finally these men said, “we will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God (Dan 6:3-5)

The verses highlights the outstanding character that the vice president Yemi Osinbajo represent in the Nigerian government; he is the hard-core and the heart beat of the current administration, free of corruption and other social vices, dedicated to economy growth and development. He is a man of good reputation in all criteria; he is brave and bold enough to called looters out publicly for the whole world to know the grave blunder and the atrocities they committed and gross fund mismanagement in the history of the country.

With all these fact seen, heard and rooted in the Bible, one knows that Osinbajo is a man of destiny child with sufficient grace of God.

The real fact of the matter that protest-preneur like shaka momodu will hide under their stingingly corrupt toga is that killings in Benue and some parts of the north predates the current administration, and the government of president muhamadu buhari has not relent in his fight against terrorism, so why continuous attack on the vice president? It takes a paid pdp apologist to descend so low into playing dirty with the name of a man so loved by all, but shaka reasons are not farfetched, his life depends on kickbacks from his paymasters who have sucked the country dry before this administration came for rescue mission in the face of corruption, maladministration, mismanagement and insecurity.

I wonder how on earth would a man whose voice only heard once in four years can come out publicly to criticize the man who has been the stability of the present administration and precise if he think attacking the government is the best way to be recognized, then he need a lot to learn. Everybody know the Vice-President Osinbajo has distinguished himself both in private life, professional calling and corridor of power, may his tribe and kind increase in our land. Amen.

When people try to speak up for Nigerians, I laugh at them seriously because Nigerians do not deserve anything good in life.

Aisha Yesufu might have been a bit harsh in most of her criticisms but most things she said or complained about are facts.

Nigerians are really pathetic people. Both Buhari and Osibanjo are horrible disappointments and so no need attacking the lady for stating the obvious.
