For those in Lagos or have people in Lagos-you can decide to have items sent in your name-some people who choose that option have picked up their items since Saturday and some today. Of course having items sent in your name-means that after we have shipped and informed you -you deal directly with Compact Logistics as far as that particular item is concerned-we will not be able to give you any updates. Compact Logistics will text you when item arrives.

Please if you dont see your name on this list-THERE IS NO CAUSE FOR ALARM. We are dealing with items from 3 different shippers and hundreds of items. A few names may have been omitted-but your items are in Lagos and you will be contacted-only the 1st list is FINAL-all other lists are still being updated and there are 2 more lists. Please dont respond on the thread to ask where your item is-just send an email with subject Pick Up and date item was paid for or shipped.


Pick UP Tuesday or Wednesday-Please contact Jimmy right now to make arrangements. You can even pick up today right now if you have a car to take Jimmy from his office to Ikeja and back-otherwise pick up is planned for Tuesday or Wednesday.

Jimmy's office is in Isolo. But pick up for most items is at Compact Logistics int'l ltd, 4 Ileshomi Str by Afijalo roundabt Mafoluku, Oshodi-very close to the airport. Text or call Jimmy to confirm what time he will be there. You have to be there to pick up or if outside Lagos-you have to have made arrangements with him before that day to have your items sent to you either through his services or any other logistic service on Nairaland. For your security-if sending someone to pick up-agree on a password with Jimmy and tell no one else. USPS pick up is in Isolo at Jimmy's office. Items not picked up will charged daily for storage and sold off after 7 days unless otherwise agreed upon.

lagtech: Bro na serious wa for u o! U said "item arrived" as if it was some miracle or rare occurrence. Hundreds of items are picked by people every month. The items Kentochi picked up arrived almost 2 months ago-he just picked up today as he is serving his fatherland in a remote area of Benue State. Kentochi has recieved items before like the blackberry playbook way back in May. He is one of the people affected by the delays we had and has delays on 2 shipments of several laptops.
Of every 100 items we ship-85 to 95 arrive ON TIME. People are picking up items every week. We do have several people who have had delays and they are less than 10 people at this point of which most have collected their items. And most of these good people have ordered and are still ordering. One person still made orders of over 200k in the last 2 weeks including 100k TODAY. We have a reputation of being good to our people.
Delays are a part of the importation business-our job is to minimize them for our clients.
