Thank you so much for this info Amy3090: they all depend. disability jobs have more shifts and pays well as much as forklift jobs. You get good pay in both. Ideally, you should be concerned at getting any job first and then when you integrate into the system, you will be able to choose what you want.
I am sending information out because so many people don't knw how difficult it is here. The benefits are there but you have to be strong. I almost came home initially because the stress was just unbearable, but a lot of people are really strong. If I could survive it, then anyone else can. come with both first and 2nd semester sch fees. Collect receipt for every accommodation fees, make sure you sign an agreement and keep your copy as so many people would want to prey on your ignorance by kicking you outta the house at will and may even call the police on you saying you are trespassing on their property, the police are gonna request for a rental agreement if you claim you are a genuine tenant. First aid and CPR tests are not expensive, virtually every job would request for it. If you are a nurse or a doctor or those sort of professions with laboratory etc, then it wont be difficult for you to get a job in hospitals. Say you have experience when applying for a job. Just ask for aussie resume, let people here send you a copy of theirs.
overall, be very careful what to say and who you say it to. So many snitches and people are gonna misinterpret you and you are already on watchlist. If you can, DO NOT DATE ANYONE ON YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS HERE. focus on your studies and try as much as you can to get a job. you know come to look woman or man. NA study and hustle, when everything is balanced, you will know and carefully start a relationship; if you wish to.
Remember to save money for a car and even if you are unable to buy one and an employer asks if you have a car, just say YES! |

Thanks But what is white card, also, what does it cost to do first aid or aged care. The info you gave is not clear. Ilias2: Jobs to get without wasting 2 months are construction and landscaping jobs through agent.. i believe White card is more essential than first aid. With white card, you can get warehouse jobs. Factories. Construction and other labour job which you can easily save up to do age care course just like @ Amy described. finding age care course once you get there will take 2 to 3 month except on special cases......
And of course you can't rely on anyone.the terrain here is different but Nigerians need to show love..asians and kenya help each other but we have some Nigerians who likes to show off like they have been in Australia for a long time hence no new comer should be better than them.... But in all, we can only trust in God as this guy has said despite all issues ............... |

Thanks for the info I will like to know, between the forklifting job and aged care, which is more profitable, although I have a medical background. Thanks Amy3090: The Australian government no longer allows students visa 500 to undertake those course from certain providers. You could be lucky to get this job with just first aid and CPR. Just make sure you apply for jobs here with an aussie resume and not Nigerian resume. Overall, this is not to discourage anyone but please, come prepared. It is not a bed of roses like your agent must have told you. Be very genuine and do not commit any crime at all. Avoiding dating any girl here for the first 5 months on arrival. Be very cautious and vigilant. Do not engage in any activity that will jeopardize your visa. When you enter, don't go about buying stuffs. Carry enough cloths as they will tell you that clothes are cheap, my dear consider the exchange rate and save as much cents as you can. Just buy pot, plates and spoons. Most importantly, yoir studies is priority, once you fail any course, immi will be notified. Try not to fail fail, I trust niaja on this shaaa. |

Thanks man jayooh: Check vayama.com
Saw something slightly lower to Adelaide there. As for going to Melbourne first, I think you shouldn't have a problem with immigration once your have your domestic flight ticket handy. Sure they should ask question, just answer them what is it,its was economical for you. But note that it's like most local flight there give a single baggage allowance.
Tweak your travelling date by 1 or 2 days and you'd bemail suprised to get a huge difference in fares. Secret is be flexible. |

Hello guys, I was wondering the best airline to use to travel to Adelaide as I have only seen south African airline at 700k. Someone is advising that I can land at Melbourne then take a connecting flight to Adelaide but am skeptical about how that might go with the immigration. Anyone with similar experience can advise me please so I don't make a mistake. Thanks. It's a student visa by the way. |

Thanks I guess this means I will have to book my connecting flight from Nig. What happens if I have a delay in one of the layovers and miss my connecting flight, what would be the solution to this. adeomoade: you also need a debit card with your name for online booking on Egypt air. weekdays tickets are cheaper than weekend. you can still get $1040 to Melbourne. Melbourne to Adelaide using Tiger air or Jetstar for around 150AUD ( Extra luggage of 40kg inclusive). |

Maybe I will just go to their office thanks Also wondering if there would be hotel reservations included in the pay for layovers foliat: Use tripadvisor...but your payment would be with credit card or dollar card. Alternatively if you reside in lagos go to Egypt air office in VI. |

We meet in Aussie soon GodBlessEdoBoy: Oga Kessel, it's very simple, fabricate your papers too and get your grant. Ask questions if you don't know something. ignorance kill most Nigerians, for your info, once an AL1 institution clears you and give you CoE, then you are good to go and apply for your visa without SOA. The embassy may or may not request for it while your application is being processed. I shared my timeline to encourage someone out there. Sorry you choose to be a doubting Thomas but I give God Almighty the glory for what He has done for me. I hope you get your grant someday and we meet up in Aussie. One love.
Sorry sir/ma I refuse to believe you. It's either your time line is fabricated or you are not giving us the full information because never have I heard or read anywhere both on or outside NL that Australia gave out a student visa without SOA, please come out clean.. Thanks |
