As i am preparing for school hopefully by september this year,i have already set up my goals

which are:

1)coming out with first class if not overall best student(i hate failure first class or nothing more,gbam!!!).

2)I don't want to join any cult's groups or get involves in any cult related activities of any kind(am not ready to serve any evil spirit called odin or whatever they are called,and watching my back every secs. Like bro! me i no dey IRAG na! or prolly get killed).

3)having girlfriend This is plan C (maybe only one will do;chances 20%).

They reasons i'm asking this question is,the school that i have chosen(first choice) is cultist infected institution(Na school i choose no be cult organisation o!) which is 7-10 guys, 6-10 babes you meet maybe prolly belong.

So YOU as a graduate(or maybe as an ex repented cultist) from any Nigeria's universities. What are your suggestions,pieces of advice or what must i (we....university aspirant) do in other not to get involves in this menace(cultism).I heard they do pressurize,threaten,even beating up some innocent students.THANKS!!!




Lastly! one bro, i knew so well ran away from school abandoning everything(school,provisions,cloths,books etc) in his 300level according to him,he almost got killed in three different occasions.The last one was so nearly that it left a very big inerasable scared on his back and neck.The guy still the waka up down the street doing nothing,this is
making five wasted years(his mum still weeping,lamenting everyday, only had it been her son did finished school,her struggles will have atleast reduced.This guy was so brainy not until he got into uni.That he changed drastically)

Congratulations brother. Give glory to God and move forward to higher things. That was what I did when I scored 273 in JAMB in year 2009. Also, my younger brother scored 261 in 2011 JAMB.

You still have a long way to go: gaining admission, attending stressful lectures, coping with difficult lecturers, fighting off distractions from ladies and cultists etc.

Hallelujah!!! dear people of nairaland join me thanks my God 4 me.i finished sec. sch. in the year 2012.That was the first time i tried out Jamb examination,then it was a paper base test[with fresh brain, out from the secondary school,as usual i was expected to pass the examination].But when the result came out it was a misery one. As i, score a total marks of 84 with chemistry missing[it come be like say them come dey follow me from my village] . but i didn't lose hope! as i proceed to studies OND in computer Engineering and Advance Diploma in Software Engineeering @Lagos.[but as expected my mama used the jamb result to torment my life any time i bleep up or anytime i mention something about university degree.] to cut the long story short! i decided to try out this year jamb examination, but to be sincere! i was so afraid as i have been out of touch with CHEMISTRY,PHYSICS more especially MATHEMATICS so how am i going to pass this examination?. I sold my precious phone[as i didn't have money] just to purchased the jamb pin @ the officially closing day of the registration. Fast forward! i was given monday 15 of may as my examination day.Money to get to the examination centre was another wahala but miraculously the money came,i was checked,got into the examination hall ushered to my exam's system and instruction was given for all the examiners to logged in.I logged in! my time Began to ticked, my heart too began to Beat faster like a Yoruba talking drum.
Where will i start??[That was the question i ask myself cos by this time i didn't know anythings in PHYSICS,MATHEMATICS and CHEMISTRY as English was my only hope]. And the security was so tight! cctv cameras everywhere at the corners of the hall.Fast forward i began to tick my answers on english,i spent like 1hr 30mins to answer questions mainly on English and i,used the remaining 30mins to ticks answers RANDOMLY on CHEMISTRY,PHYSICS and MATHS [i ticks some answers A,some B some C some D and i will begins ticking from D,C,B,A again all, ignorantly].MY time remaining 3mins to go i pressed S,i said a short prayer of helps from above before pressing another S which means i have submitted my exam,but was not happy at all.

Inside a Bus on my way back home! i overheard a guy said to his friend on phone if his result is not favourable he knew a man who can upgrade his result with a sum of #30,000.I was tempted to make enquiring about this said man. But when i remember that i,didn't have any penny i just kept quiet and said the following prayers.

"Lord Jesus if someone can take a bribe to upgrade someone's result.Lord please take all the Glorys and upgrade my result- Amen".

Surprising when my result came out this is what i score!.....i'm so much happy considering the level of my preparation i, have been away from CHEMISTRY,MATHS,PHYSICS for over 5years nows.

Next yr 2017 i, hope to gain admission into any of my preferable nigeria's university to study computer science.But i have gotten a professional advance diploma in
software engineering(a foreign cert.) and diploma in hardware engineering(i'm pretty good with computer programming).
But my problem is shd i go and waste 4yrs to study computer sc. in nigeria's uni.? reasons being that i have seen a lot of computer sc.' graduates who
can't even used a basic Excel! most of them can't even write simple c,c++ programs,and i wonder what d teach them in over d period of 4yrs.
I talk to one of my respectful frnds d other day,he said i shd go for mathematics/statistics instead!
which i consider the best idea but i'm not so good with mathematics(problems since birth self grin angry angry angry )

hello respectful nairalanders if i take a BOLD step towards maths pls will i survive?
i kn computer. sc. requires maths also but am very sure am gonna survive computer sc. but i don't just want to waste my time on it again.

please what ur humble opinion it might save my career,thanks!
