Confirmer: No other figure in the entire canon of the Bible be it Old or New Testament was able to do even a fraction of the miracles that Christ performed. Jesus specifically stated that His miracles were evidence of His Divinity and the Bible boldly proclaims that: John 20: 31:........These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. 1. Born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:26-38) 2. Changing water to wine (John 2:1-11) 3. Healing the royal official's son (John 4:46-54) 4. Confirmer: The Apocrypha is not the Bible. Any book that is not included in the Bible was left out because it lacks Divine Inspiration. Neither the Aprocryphal books nor The Catholic Encyclopedia are considered by Christians to be inspired scripture and it is for this reason that they are not included in the Bible. The Apocryphal books had many flaws, errors and inaccuracies: 1. Not one of them is in the Hebrew language, which was alone used by the inspired historians and poets of the Old Testament. 2. Not one of the writers lays any claim to inspiration. 3. These books were never acknowledged as sacred Scriptures by the Jewish Church, and therefore were never sanctioned by our Lord. 4. They were not allowed a place among the sacred books, during the first four centuries of the Christian Church. 4. They contain fabulous statements, and statements which contradict not only the canonical Scriptures, but themselves; as when, in the two Books of Maccabees, Antiochus Epiphanes is made to die three different deaths in as many different places. 5. The Apocrypha inculcates doctrines at variance with the Bible, such as prayers for the dead and sinless perfection. Any account of Mary's life which appears in the Apocrypha but which is not supported by the inspired Canon is deemed unreliable. If the Apocrypha says Mary was a girl, while the Bible refers to Marry as a woman, I choose the Bible. As for the Catholic Encyclopedia it is not even considered apocryphal, let alone Divinely inspired. The only aspect of the Catholic Encyclopedia that I agree with is its description of Muhammad as a fake prophet and a liar: "Muhammad perverts almost all the testimonies of the Old and New Testaments by making them into fabrications of his own, as can be seen by anyone who examines his law. It was, therefore, a shrewd decision on his part to forbid his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, lest these books convict him of falsity. It is thus clear that those who place any faith in his words believe foolishly." |

Confirmer: Don't muslims have any shame? Is that why you keep repeating this lie? In the United States the age of sexual consent was lowered to 12 and 13 to prevent cases where children would be sent to jail for sexual offences. For example, in most states in America, if a 12 year old boy sleeps with a 12 year old girl, neither of them will be considered guilty of committing any crime. But if a 53 year old man has sex with a 10 year old girl, he will spend the rest of his life behind bars. As for Christ's Divinity, I believe in Christ's Divinity more than I believe in life itself. |

Confirmer: Once you are married, you stop being a girl even at the question of 10 years. Wow. With that kind of demented reasoning, it is easy to see why islamic countries are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to anything to do with learning and education. So marriage can magically transform a 10 year old girl into an adult with all the maturity and experience of an adult? Wonderful. It is only in Islam you will find such reasoning. In that case, let us allow 10 year olds to own voter's identity cards. Let us allow them to own driver's licenses and drive cars. In short, let us even vote for a 10 year old as our president since the old man we presently have is not living up to expectations As for David, again you have raised another rather stupid and pointless example. David was punished for his sins of murder and adultery. In fact, God punished him by causing his family to kill each other and he died at a premature age. Just like Solomon, David is mentioned as a bad example which Christians are not meant to follow. Meanwhile Mohammad married a 6 year old girl and also married Zainab the wife of his adopted son Zaid Bin Harithah and Allah congratulated him for doing so! Indeed we DO NOT worship the same God! |

Confirmer: Mary is referred to as a woman. You read the Scripture passage I provided so I was expecting you to show me where in the Bible it said that Mary is a Girl. Abi you don't know that there is a difference between a Girl and a Woman? As for Solomon's polygamy is mentioned in the Bible as a bad example that Christians are not meant to follow. In fact, the Bible explicitly says that Solomon was led astray by his "many wives". The problem with you lot is that you somehow believe that Christians worship whatever thing it is that you guys worship. |

Confirmer: The Bible refers to Mary as a woman whenever she is mentioned: Luke 1:42"Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!" A woman is not a girl and there is nowhere in the Bible where children are allowed to get married. Also in the Bible, women have the right to marry whoever they want. When their father wanted to arrange marriages for them, the daughters of Zelophehad petitioned God and this was his response: Numbers 36:6 This is the thing which the Lord doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best......... As for the proof of Christ's divinity, there are so many scriptural examples: Matthew 1:23 - “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 43:10,11 - “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior.” Revelation 1:17-18; Revelation 2:8 - (Jesus is the First and the Last) 2 Peter 1:1 (Jesus is the Redeemer) - “To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ” As for the koran being a perfectly preserved book, Ibn Masoud's koran has only 111 chapters , Ubayy Bin Ka’ab's koran has 116 chapters while Zaid Ibn Thabit's koran which is the most common quran of today only has 114 chapters. Even those 114 chapters in Zaid's koran have been edited the reign of Caliph Abd al-Malik Ibn Marawan by a man called Al-Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf Al-Thakafi, who lived in the years AD 660-714, was a teacher of the Arabic language in the city of Taif. For brevity's sake we will only mention a few of these changes: 1. In Surah Yunus 10:22, he changed the word yanshorokom, which means "spread you," to yousayerokom, which means "makes you to go on." 2. In Surah Ash-Shuara 26:116, he changed the word Al-Mukhrageen, which means "the cast out," to Al-Margoomeen, which means "those who are to be stoned [to death]." 3. In Surah Ash-Shuara 26:167, he changed the word Min Al-Margoomeen, which means "those who are to be stoned to death," to Al-Mukhrageen, which means "those who will assuredly be cast out." 4. In Surah Muhammad 47:15, he changed the word yasen, which is poor Arabic to Asen, which means "unpolluted." 5. In Surah al-Hadid 57:7, he changed the word wataqu, which means "feared Allah," to Wa-anfaqu, which means "spend in charity." |

I don't get it. I thought charity is supposed to begin at home. Shouldn't muslims be worried about the fact that the vast majority of beggars (more than 80%) are muslims, before they start taking panadol extra for somebody else's headache? In Nigeria, even Muslim scholars acknowledge that islam is the leading light when it comes to the mass production of beggars. There are many articles on how muslims dominate begging in Nigeria on nairaland. You might try reading some of them: https://www.nairaland.com/2524096/see-where-beggars-nigeria-come Infact according to two muslim scholars, Abubakar Abdulganiyu Adedibu and Mohammad Omar Jeleel research shows that over 80% of the beggars in all the major cities in Nigeria, even those in Eastern Nigeria, are muslims: Even your beloved Emire Lamido Sanusi admitted that if Northern Nigeria were to become a country of its own, it would be poorest country on earth. So why are you reasoning out of your anus like this? 3 Likes |

Islam for Muslims / Re: How To Prepare For RAMADAN. by KhalDroggo: 10:23am On May 12, 2017 |
I've always wondered why the price of foodstuffs always skyrockets during ramadan and why all the Muslims I know always seem to get fatter After reading this article from last year's ramadan, now I know why: http://www.thenational.ae/uae/abu-dhabi-hospitals-report-rise-in-overeating-cases-this-ramadan Abu Dhabi hospitals report rise in overeating cases this Ramadan ABU DHABI // Emergency departments are reporting an influx of people with stomach pains and nausea after overeating at iftar – with the number of patients at some hospitals having doubled since the start of the holy month. Dr Magdi Mohamed, a consultant in emergency medicine at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi, said there were between 160 and 180 patients visiting its A&E department on a daily basis. During Ramadan, about a quarter of these are suffering with gastrointestinal problems because of overeating at iftar, putting a strain on hospital resources. "At least 40 a day are complaining about symptoms related to this," he said. "The first is gastritis – an acute inflammation of the stomach – and the second is gastroenteritis, an infection of the stomach and intestines together, resulting in vomiting or diarrhoea." Other stomach cramps and pains are often down to contaminated food or food not being prepared properly, he said. Many patients needed medication to ease stomach cramps, intravenous fluid to rehydrate and a short stay in the hospital to recuperate. Dr Mohamed said about half a dozen patients a day were also found to have kidney stones, which is commonly associated with dehydration. Dr Indira Gouthaman, of the department of family medicine at LLH Hospital in Abu Dhabi, said the number of patients presenting with stomach problems had doubled since the start of Ramadan because of overeating at iftar. "We get about 12 a day, which is almost double the number of cases compared with the rest of the year," she said. "Abdominal pain – mainly upper abdominal pain – is the most common symptom. "Patients also come with vomiting and nausea and sometimes loose stools. Gaseous distension and bloating of the abdomen are also seen." The number of patients with stomach problems also soared at Medeor 24x7 Hospital in the capital because of people breaking the fast too quickly, with too much food, according to Dr Marigold Hofilena Daclan, a general practitioner at the emergency department. |

hobermener: Don't need to go through your post again. Just going through your vomit once was bad enough, but I'll summarise your main point so you'll understand how mindless it is: Your position is that a man is typically level-headed but society should not judge him harshly if he loses his calm and beats a woman to stupor for merely saying something that he doesn't like. And for you, there is nothing wrong with this. The question is, would a man be that bold if it were another man who used abusive language towards him? Especially if that other man is bigger and stronger than him? So why would he be justified for using the same methods against a woman? Try your argument out in the civilised world and you'll be amazed at how ridiculous it sounds because such ideas have no place in any civilised community. 12 Likes 1 Share |
