Really man, I didn’t know :, I just stumbled on this forum while searching for solutions to my generator not starting

I experienced exactly this with my gen. I later discovered that the oil in it was below the gauge which made the gen unable to start. It picked up at once immediately I top-up the oil. Kindly check the oil level, it may be below the minimum level.

I think mine was as a result of a little too much oil, I checked the guage and oil started pouring out immediately, i had to reduce it a bit then cleaned my spark plug with fue and a brush and it’s working now.

Gptech:
Get a new one and try, if it still doesn't work, return the generator, there should be at least one week warranty, it's not too late.

Hello sir, thank you for your help, I took out the spark plug and it was dirty af, so I cleaned it with brush and fuel till it was shiny, tried it and my gen turned on, it’s working properly as I type this. Is there still any beed to get a new spark plug or is there anything else I should be worried about?

Change the spark plug first.

But it’s a new gen �, I removed and replaced the spark plug yesterday but still didn’t come on, but if you’re certain it’s the spark plug then I’ll get a new one.

Sorry good morning sir, please I have an issue with my gen brand new gen and I’m panicking.
It’s a senwei generator, 1.8 kva, 3hp. I just bought this t less than a week ago.
My gen suddenly refused to turn on last night, i draw and draw and draw, sometimes it’ll sound like it wants to turn on but it won’t, sometimes it makes this coughing sound but it won’t turn on, one time it turned on for like a mili second then went off immediately, I’m frustrated and tired rn because I just bought that gen less than a week ago and it hasn’t been on for more than 2 hours straight. Please what should I do? Call a technician so check it? I don’t want them to touch something edakun.
