As a student i would recommend Thermocool TEC Junior 1.5kva, but blenders also consume energy along with other appliances you didn't mention so the 1.5kva may be to small. If cost isn't an ish, i would recommend the 2.5kva TEC Bobo. You can check any Thermocool store for the current cost, good luck.....

Please house help I bought an Elepaq EC5800CX generator some months ago, the generator works okay, the only issue I have with it is that it gives out a lot of black/ carbon smoke from the exhaust. I got a mechanic to look at it but he didn't solve it. Please what can I do about this?

It’s a senwei generator, 1.8 kva, 3hp. I just bought this t less than a week ago.
My gen suddenly refused to turn on last night, i draw and draw and draw, sometimes it’ll sound like it wants to turn on but it won’t, sometimes it makes this coughing sound but it won’t turn on, one time it turned on for like a mili second then went off immediately, I’m frustrated and tired rn because I just bought that gen less than a week ago and it hasn’t been on for more than 2 hours straight. Please what should I do? Call a technician so check it? I don’t want them to touch something edakun.

But it’s a new gen �, I removed and replaced the spark plug yesterday but still didn’t come on, but if you’re certain it’s the spark plug then I’ll get a new one.

Buy from accredited stores only and for the case of Sumec firman, there are guides on their site to check for fakes.

I think mine was as a result of a little too much oil, I checked the guage and oil started pouring out immediately, i had to reduce it a bit then cleaned my spark plug with fue and a brush and it’s working now.

Just take care of your gen, don't expose it especially to rain. Change oil as at when due and ensure you guage it well.

Getting the right generator now is really a priority make I no go jogodo.
Please these are my current appliances, in a self contain
2 light bulbs, one standing fan, one laptop, one waist high fridge, one blender (I can turn off other appliances to use this), one 42inch led TV, and one set of djack small home theatre.

Please can 1.2kva carry these appliances or 1.5 or 1.8 or 1.9??
