If you're also hustling for your own money, you should be happy that in case of a divorce, your husband will not take half your stuff, it goes both ways. And don't forget that women initiate most divorce, so the chances are high that you're the one dumping him, not otherwise. Isn't it a criminal act to dump and man, break his heart and take half his stuff? Anyway you're a woman, double standards are just like the air you breathe.

Regarding imitating African American culture, thanks, I got my African culture. It’s not perfect but it works for me. Not a culture where Shabisha leaves her husband’s house and go meet Teeshun. Teeshan leaves Shabisha with 2 kids and go meet Shalima.

I like my African culture where if u leave your wife, they summon the elders on you and that’s what all well meaning blacks should imitate. It needs some refining here and there but the best of all cultures.

All this talk of Africans should be grateful to black Americans for the ability to migrate to the US, why don't we hear other immigrant groups like the Asians, Arabs and especially the Latinos who are migrating in larger numbers than Africans being told to be grateful to Black Americans.
