Most Android phones, Samsung, Oneplus, Xiaomi do have battery issues after updating them, but the manufacturers will try to dish out another update to fix the issue.

Before I dive right into the comparison, I'll really like everyone reading this to know that:

1. This is an unbiased comparison, I'm not a fan or "Marketer" of both brands and I currently don't use any device made by both brands.


2.The Redmi 9 is an entry level smartphone while the Note 7 is from Infinix's Flagship Line up.

This Comparison will be based on the following parameters
1. Performance
2. Display
3. Battery
4. Camera
5. Design
6. Others

1. PERFORMANCE

The highlight of the Infinix Note 7 is the MTK Helio G70 (2 × 2.0 GHz cortex A-75 & 6 × 1.7 GHz Cortex A-55) processor used, But the Redmi 9 comes with the MTK Helio G80 (2× 2.0 GHz cortex A-75 & 6 × 1.7 GHz Cortex A-55), both processors are similar in many aspects, and both have same hardware support, but the power-saving cores of the Helio G80 have higher a clock speed and the Helio G80 have a better GPU.

Both devices comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 ROM.

Verdict : the Redmi 9 has a better performance but not by much


2. DISPLAY

The Redmi 9 comes with a 6.53 inch LCD Full HD+ (1080p) display with a drop notch while the Note 7 has a massive 6.95 inch LCD display with HD+ (720p) display with a hole punch.

Verdict :The pixel density of the Infinix Note 7 is poor, so the Redmi 9 is a clear winner in this one

3. BATTERY

Both devices come with a 5,000 mAh cell with 18W fast charge feature.

Verdict : this is a draw, since the processor of both phones has the same manufacturing process(12nm), so the difference in power efficiency will be Negligible.

4. CAMERA

The Redmi 9 has a 13 MP wide angle sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, a 5 MP Macro lens with a depth sensor alongside an 8 MP selfie camera. while the Note 7 comes with a 48 MP wide angle sensor, a depth sensor and a 2 MP macro lens, with a 16 MP selfie camera.

Both devices are capable of shooting only 1080p Videos up to 30 fps(this is a limitation of the processors).

Verdict : The Redmi 9 wins this because of the presence of an ultrawide sensor which brings more versatility. Although the Note 7's main camera has a higher resolution, but most people won't use it at the maximum resolution, because the pictures will take a lot of time to load and a lot of storage space.

5. DESIGN

both phones have a plastic frame and plastic back, so, there is no better in terms of quality, the beauty of both phones will be based on the user's preference.

Verdict : it's a tie


6. Others
The Redmi 9 has a better software, a USB C port for better compatibility and power delivery as opposed to the micro USB on the Note 7, and an Infrared port.



7. PRICE

the Redmi 9 (4GB RAM +64 GB ROM variant) retails for 150$ while the Note 7 (4GB RAM +64 GB ROM variant) retails for 200$

I'll really like it if you don't say something you have less than no idea about

in terms of photos, the Galaxy S20 Ultra outperforms the IPhone 11 pro max, by far, ranging from normal daytime photos to low light photos, pictures on the Galaxy S20 Ultra are sharper, more saturated, punchier, and have more contrast than pictures on the IPhone 11 pro/pro max (if you don't agree, go to YouTube, watch camera comparisons and get enlightened )

the faults of the Galaxy S20 Ultra is its Large sensor size which gives it an unnatural bokeh with closeup subjects(making it look as if it was shot on portrait mode), and its autofocus issues. The Huawei P40 pro is even better than the IPhone 11 pro max when it comes to photos.



And about the issue of the A13 bionic, you should note that Apple iPhones run on a totally different Operating system, and it's no news that apps are more optimized on iOS(they take relatively little memory to run) , therefore making it easier for the A13 bionic to handle them swiftly and smoothly, I assure you, If you place an A13 bionic chipset into an android phone, It will struggle to live up to expectations.
