MEILYN: Today someone and i were talking, she started making much emphasis that Moses saw God Face to Face, she also gave me a Bible verse.

"Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness." (Exodus 24:9-10).

"And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink." (Exodus 24:11).

Here we see that Moses and others saw God with their own eyes.

But later, Moses was not allowed to see God's face.

"And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy." (Exodus 33:18-19).

"And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:" (Exodus 33:20-21).

"And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen." (Exodus 33:22-23).

And this says it all.

"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." (John 1:18).

I showed her those verses but she kept arguing. Can someone elaborate on this please?. Tanks in advance.
According to the Quran (the islam's book) the Moses insist to see Allah (God) Allah said you can't see me the power you have been giver is not enough to see me, but Moses still insisted the Allah (God ) say to Moses to look at hill of toor, Allah (God) apeared a smallest of his light on hill the hill started distorying by the power of light (jalwa) Moses become frightend and become unconcious.
Islam for Muslims / Is Ismailies Considered Muslims by khowman(m): 9:47pm On Dec 24, 2013
The ismailies (agha khani) consider their imam the agha khan all of their sharia etc, they pray for three time daily that is also not according to the quran and hadith.
instead of masque they have jamat khana,
for salam they are using "ya ali madad" and other replies "maula ali madad" and all are different.
so what is about their zabiha, although they proudly say the kalma taiba,
is their sludered animal be haram (prohibited) or not...? though they claim to say bismillahi allaho akbar.
