At at the time she died, her marital status was single, she was not anybody's wife. Maybe you wanted to say had she lived long enough, she could have been someone's wife. Sadly, that will be an hypothesis which never came true, and which might still not have come true with her being alive as it could happen that with her living long enough, she could still have grown and die single.
