Following the death of two people in Benton County, a Camden man has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder

The TBI has been investigating after two people were found dead in Camden, TN, on Sunday.

According to TBI, Jerry Dabbs is responsible for the death of Wayna Ruth Hedrick and Bonnie Sue Hedrick in the 4200 block of Highway 70 East in Camden.

Jerry Dabbs, 63, is being held in the Benton County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

Nigerian Veteran musician, Baba Fryo, has said that he has stopped smoking weed and other related substances three years ago. He told Sunday Scoop that foolhardiness is what makes artistes abuse drugs and alcohol.

He said,

“To me, it is just stupidity for one to abuse anything or take hard drugs because I don’t see the benefit. Anyone who takes hard drugs is just ‘donating’ madness to him or herself. Most of these young guys indulge in these things because they either want to show off or are influenced by their friends.

“As for me, drugs don’t add anything to me. Now, I only take alcohol and that is whenever I am in the midst of friends, but I don’t drink excessively.”

The veteran admitted that he took weed for many years before he realised that it was adding nothing to him.

“I took weed for so many years, but I stopped about three years ago. I asked myself what it was adding to me and I didn’t get any positive answer. I would just be calm and quiet for like four hours and people would keep wondering what was wrong with me. I also calculated the amount of money I was spending monthly to sustain the habit and it occurred to me that this tidy sum could be put to better use. For anyone who takes cocaine or any other type of hard drug, he or she is killing himself gradually".

“I talk to younger artistes who are close to me, but I can only advise them. For the ones who are not close to me, there is no way I can talk to them because some of these boys are arrogant. Once I sense that you are full of yourself, I don’t come near you,” the Notice Me singer said.

A football club in Egypt, El Qanah announced that one of their players, Ibrahim Konsha, who a 28-years-old died at the hands of Islamist militants.

The footballer, who was fulfilling his national service, was one of nine soldiers killed in the Sinai peninsula.

According to the club statement"our player Ibrahim Konsha died in terrorist attacks against a battalion of the Egyptian Army".

The so-called Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the series of attacks targeting checkpoints in Sheikh Zweid.

The unnamed victim allegedly took his own life on Monday at the quarantine centre in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, located in the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri, in Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state.

A 45-year-old American Stand-up comic, Ralph Oliver May died on Friday morning at his home in Las Vegas.

The comedian gained fame when he placed second on “Last Comic Standing” in 2003. He also had several comedy specials, including “Too Big to Ignore” and “Girth of a Nation.”

May had been fighting pneumonia for weeks and died of cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife, Lahna Turner, and children, April June May and August James May.

May, who had an ongoing show at Harrah’s Las Vegas, was scheduled to perform at the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield, Ohio on Oct. 13.


The theater posted the following message on its website:

“We have sadly learned of the passing of comedian Ralphie May. The show has been canceled, and our box office will contact patrons who have purchased on Tuesday, October 10th.”

Tickets for May’s Jan. 13 show at the Hard Rock Rocksino can be refunded at the point of purchase, a Live Nation spokesman said on Friday.
