Congratulations again on your admission to Michigan State University for fall 2016!

Now that you’ve been admitted to MSU, your MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program application will now proceed to the next stage of the scholarship process. A University-wide committee will review scholarship applications in the coming weeks and select finalists for phone interviews by late March. All candidates will be notified of their scholarship decisions by early April.

Many of you wonder how i get the information. A kenyan bank partnered with the mastercard foundation to offer highschool scholarships in Kenya. In addition to this, the banks selects the best students in the highschool national examination(KCSE) and trains them on the SAT and the application process. e.g around 20-30 students got into ivy leagues in ED and alot of them end up getting in regular decision and also into the mastercard scholarship. In my case, i already know that i have not been selected for the Berkeley Mastercard scholarships since only those who are invited to the interviews get the scholarships while the unsuccessful applicant only know their decision on the official date(They are not notified earlier). Anyone can call me a fake but you soon realize that i was correct.

two friends got interview emails from msu last week. Another got a final decision from Toronto confirming his scholarship

I heard that msu has started sending out interview emails. Anyone got one?

since i never got a skype invite then i guess i missed out

@EZEIGBO1OFIMO Yes. I was invited and told to fill the form on the portal. I filled the interview dates on the application. Did you get an email recently confirming a specific date or you are referring to one you put on the application?

Has anyone gotten the skype interview email from Berkeley? I have been admitted to MSU ..Am a kenyan. The battle for Duke is Kenya vs Nigeria. I have friends with perfect transcripts
