Ghanaian couple – Kojo Prince and Mzznaki Tetteh have been trending on social media since after one of their pre-wedding photos went viral online.

In the photo which went viral and parked criticisms, Prince tried lifting his heartthrob, Mzznaki. Although the photo was followed with lots of negative comments hampering on Mzznaki’s size, the couple also received a lot of positive and commending comments.

Mzznaki on her own reacted by letting her haters know she is proud of who is and now has to manage her fast – risen fame following their viral photos and criticisms. However, she indicated that she is currently working on reducing her weight.

Well, Kojo Prince has proven to haters that different strokes exist for different folks as he kept deaf ears to all the mockery and criticisms. He has finally walked his loved plus-sized bride to the aisle and tied the knots with her.

For quite sometimes now, motor cyclists popularly known as okada riders in Aguda Surulere Local Government Area of Lagos state have been grumbling over the amount of money collected from them by the so called area boys on daily basis.

But this morning's issue broke the camel's back as one of the okada riders allegedly stabbed one of the area boys to death this morning of money issue.

The Police has immediately reported to the to scene to calm the situation down.

Top blogger Linda Ikeji recently took to her social networking site, Instagram to gush over the 2 new Hermes Birkin bags she purchased during her recent trip to Uk. Some of her fans accused her of purchasing a fake bag and went further to notify the bag designer – Hermes via their social media pages. Instablo9ja claims they contacted Hermes to confirm the authenticity of the bag and also, shared via the same site, a supposedly response from Hermes claiming that the bags purchased by Linda are fake.

Linda then responded to the accusations with the following posts,highlighting that she purchased the bag during a recent trip to the UK.

“Don’t worry my darlings, I’ll take all these down later but let’s clarify this. So, I bought the bag for 14 thousand dollars on Sloan Street, UK. In Naira, that would be how much again? That would be about N4.8m. Damn, Linda! ”

The worst part is that the condition under which these drinks are prepared are quite unhealthy as can be seen on the photos. The bail request by the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has been turned down by A Federal High Court in Abuja. Kanu who has been in detention since his arrest in October, 2015 for running an underground radio that spreads hate messages in a push for the creation of independent state of Biafra. However, the court ruled that Kanu must remain in prison pending his trial for alleged treason. The Nigerian government had earlier refused to release the IPB leader on two occasions that he had been granted bail by the courts.

18-Year-Old Narendra Kumar was taken to the hospital after suffering vomiting, weight loss and chronic stomach pains where he who had chronic stomach pains was disturbed to find out he was growing a parasitic ‘twin’ with hair, bone and teeth inside him. Results from diagnosis at the Swaroop Narayan Hospital in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh revealed a 2.5kg mass of bone, hair and teeth that had formed an umbilical cord-like structure inside Narendra’s abdomen.
The diagnosis was ‘foetus in fetu’, a rare condition which develops during pregnancy with twins – where one foetus enters the other through the umbilical cord, and lives there as a parasite. This seems to be the case with the teenager as doctors told him that the parasite had lived and grown inside his body since his birth. Dr Rajeev Singh told MailOnline that surgeons only found the ‘twin’ when they operated on Narendra. He said:
‘Technically, the foetus was alive and was growing due to metabolic activity in his body.’
‘In the three-hour-long surgery, we removed a mass of malformed baby which had hair, teeth, a poorly developed head, a bony structure of chest and spine, with lots of yellowish amniotic-like fluid in the sac.’

Photos of conjoined twins Maria Clara and Maria Eduarda Oliveira Santana born to Denise Borges Oliveira and Caique Santana Ramos dos Santo underwent separation surgery in Goiânia, Brazil at the time they were just 4 months old. The surgery reportedly lasted six hours and was completely successful. Photos of the twins were taken at the hospital by photographer Matus Andre before and after the surgery and they are simply, amazing.
Andre told Hufington Post that "Shooting the twins after surgery was a testament of hope." After he met their who were both 20 at the time of the surgery by chance, he was thrilled when they asked him to take photos of their daughters: "I started to have admiration for those whom society does not try to see. We all deserve dignity, no matter who it is."

Jamaican dancehall artist Lanmine has chosen a rather unusual way to adorn his face with 40 piercings for the main reason of bolstering his image and also, his music brand. Contrary to the artist's expectation, his decision has only been met with mixed reactions from fans some of whom have criticized him for the act. However, Lanmine says he continues to receive positive comments from fans who approve of his new look.
Lamine's manager Stasha of Stashment records who has stood by the artist stated that image is everything and it’s worth using shock-value to attract attention. Stasha stated:
“He [Lanmine] is a hardworking artiste and he just decided that 2016 will be the year for him to push the bar as it relates to his music and his image. In the business of entertainment image is an important factor because an artiste should not only stand out in the way he or she records his material but also in appearance.”

The late Sergeant Stephen James, the drunk police officer who killed twin brothers, Taiwo and Kehinde Oyesolu as well as their friend, Adegoke Adesanya alias Jeje, and then shot himself in December, 2015, in the Ketu area of Lagos State, has been rejected even in death as his family. His corpse is reported to be currently lying in the morgue unattended to. The family is said to have abandoned the corpse of the killer cop which is still lying at the mortuary of the Military Hospital, Yaba. According to findings, no member of the family has come out to lay claim to the body as well as begin preparations for his burial. It was gathered that even his widow who is also a policewoman attached to the Ogun State Police Command, has also distanced herself from the late officer who was said to be an habitual Indian hemp smoker, heavy drinker and drug addict while he was alive.
Late Sergeant James had shot and killed the twin brothers, a Naval officer and an engineer, as well as their friend who was celebrating his birthday at the Paulson Hotel located on Anibaba Street, Ketu, before turning the gun on himself.
The incident that led to the multiple death, according to witnesses, happened when James who was said to be heavily drunk on that day, had gone to the hotel to order the men to buy him a bottle of beer but they reportedly told him he had had enough and should comport himself as an officer of the law.
The angry police reportedly went outside to wait for the young men, boasting he would kill people that day and true to his words, as the men came out of the hotel, James allegedly opened fire on them and after making sure they were dead, he turned the gun on himself.
The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, had, in th wake of the senseless killings, visited the family of the murdered twins where he commiserated with their 75-year-old mother, Madam Beatrice Oyesolu, and had categorically stated the family of the late James who was attached to the Mopol 22 of the State Command, will not get his entitlement as he was dismissed posthumously from the force.

In South Africa, Lobola means pride price which a man is demanded by tradition to pay to the family of the bride-to-be, after which she becomes his wife. This is what black lesbian couple, Antoinette (Vaivi) Swartz and Sape Maodi-Swartz did in December, 2015.
"The initiation point for us was saying we want to do this process. Speaking to our parents about it we found them open to the idea because I think they expected it from my side," said Sape.
Sape said they decided her family should get the payment. They preferred not to disclose the amount.
"I spoke to the parents and informed them and then decided on the date for the lobola."
In African culture, the man pays lobola to the wife's family, to thank them for raising her and to allow him to take her from them.
Sape said they wanted to follow tradition and get married like any other couple.
"We did the entire process like a heterosexual couple would do. The main reason was that if we don't do it that way, most people would not respect our marriage when it comes to African customs and tradition. It wouldn't gain the same respect that a heterosexual marriage carries with it," said Sape.
Gazing at one another and smiling, they said it was important to bridge the gap between tradition and homosexual relationships. Usually gay couples would simply sign the marriage contract and not pay the lobola, they said.
"We decided to take it [tradition] on. Although it's not inclusive of homosexuals, we made it inclusive of us."
The two admitted to encountering problems with paying lobola, but found ways to ensure their cultures were respected and their situation accommodated. They said communication was key to the success of the process.
"When we were not comfortable with something, we spoke about it and found ways to negotiate around the cultural requirements to ensure they accommodated lesbians," said Sape.
Vaivi said the driving force behind their decision to follow culture was to ensure their families blessed and accepted their union. It ensured the ancestors of both families knew about and accepted the new members. Families performed rituals to announce new additions to the clan. This happened when people married or when a child was born.
The couple said it resulted in people from their communities embracing their relationship and way of life.
They held a traditional wedding attended by 280 guests on December 19. It served as an eye-opener for the parents of some of the guests who attended.
"Most of the families don't accept their children being homosexuals. It was easy for the parents to see that we can still follow the proper steps and tradition. This was not only for us but for the rest of society to see that it can be done. They must understand that this is love and it doesn't matter if it's two females," said Vaivi.
They intended to have a white wedding later and were saving up for it.
They wanted to have a child and build a family together. Sape said they would use artificial insemination, and she would carry the baby.
The pair hoped their story would inspire others to follow tradition while still remaining true to themselves and their sexual orientation. Continue to see more photos:

Members of the Independent People of Biafra took to the streets of Aba, Abia state to protest the continued detention of the of Radio Biafra Director, Nnamdi Kanu today, January, 18. MASSOB’s Director of Information, Samuel Edeson and IPOB’s Secretary, Ibem Ugwuoke Ibem who had earlier warned of today’s protest threatened that it will spread all over South/South and Southeastern states. While the protest was still on, officers of the Nigerian Army shot at the protesters, from Port Harcourt road to Power line, Ariaria Market, Milverton killing at least one person. 30 year-old father-of-two, Kevin Woodward is being treated for burns to his arms, face and hands after the Chinese-manufactured Eleaf iStick set on fire while charging overnight. The Scrapyard left his e-cigarette charging overnight and was woken hours later by pain that felt like 'a blow torch' on his skin after the e-cigarette exploded while it was still charging next to his bed. Despite the pain, Mr Woodward was able to act quickly and smother the blaze with a pillow before escaping the family home in Northwich, Cheshire, with his fiancee and their two young children. A naked man halted the traffic on the M1 in Johannesburg this morning as he was pictured walking across the road during peak traffic. A church in Jiayi, Taiwan has been built in the shape of a Cinderella-like glass shoe measuring 17m high and 11m wide, and made of 320 pieces of glass. The church which its main structure of the building took more than two months to be built has created headlines ahead of its proposed opening prior to the Chinese New Year. Head of the project, Zheng Rongfeng, stated on January 7 that the church will be opened to visitors before the Chinese New Year. The fashionable church building is located in the Southwest Coast Scenic Area in Taiwan. According to the administrative office of the building, this church might look very stylish but it also blends with tradition. In tradition, the bride needs to wear high-heels to tread on tiles and then throw away the shattered pieces before stepping in the bridegroom’s family, which signifies the end to past misfortunes and the beginning of a better life. They decided to build a high-heel shoe-like church for couples to get married and take wedding photos. The church is expected to open in February of this year during the annual Spring Festival. Tracey Thompson has just given birth to her granddaughter Kelcy through a carefully planned surrogacy. After years of failed attempts to conceive, Kelley McKissack sought help from her mother who agreed to help her carry her baby through surrogacy. According to Kelley, she and her husband moved over to infertility treatments, IUIs and IVFs which did turn in to pregnancies but all turned into miscarriages. After numerous tests they decided to try an unconventional option, but they say the idea to enlist her mother's help came a few years back.
"When she was a teenager she said mom, and why I don't know, she said if I can't carry my own baby would you carry it for me? Of course I would not dreaming that I would actually be doing it," said Thompson.
Kelley's mom carried baby after which she had an emergency C-section on Wednesday. They credited the staff at the Medical Center of Plano for the successful birth.
"No one could give someone a greater gift," said McKissack of her mother.
Dr. Joseph Levano, OB/GYN at the Medical Center of Plano said, "We all know how much goes in to being a mom and to do it one generation is enough and to come back and do it a generation later it takes a mountain of a woman and I think that's what Tracey is."
"What we want to get our there is that surrogacy is a possibility for people and don't be afraid of it," Dr. Thompson added.

Matthew DeRemer took to Facebook on New Year’s eve, to write about life in general and about his hopes and dreams for the future. Little did this Marine veteran know that he actually wrote his own "obituary" which is so touching. After sharing the post on Facebook, DeRemer's motorcycle got struck by a drunk driver in Largo, Florida that very same night. The 31-year-old, who worked as a surgical technologist, died at the scene, while the driver, Steven Lee Clarke, 59, was arrested in the crash, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department.
This is what DeRemer shared on Facebook shortly before his death:
“We are born in one day. We die in one day. We can change in one day. And we can fall in love in one day. Anything can happen in just one day … Last day of 2015… For me I’ll be meditating through all I do, on this entire year. I’ve lost, I’ve gained, family is closer and tougher than ever before, loved ones lost, and new friends found … There has been many times where I’ve been found on my knees in prayer for hours (relentless) and other times leading a group of people in prayer, my faith (that I love to share) is an everyday awakening (to me) that people, lives, and circumstances can change for the better OVER TIME. I look back at 2015’s huge challenges that I’ve overcome, shared with others, and have once again found myself… To say thank you and BRING ON 2016, much works to be done! And I really don’t know where I’ll end up tonight but I do know where I windup is where I’m meant to be.”
After DeRemer’s death, his powerful message was shared not only by his friends and family but by thousands of strangers. One of the readers commented, “Bro I don’t know you, but I read the post last night… You basically wrote your own obituary.”
