Owerri are the capital and their city is more economically viable than Orlu, so it will be difficult for them to invest in Orlu, everybody invest in economical viable city.
Some Owerri folks have more investment in Anambra and Lagos than Imo state.

It's no longer news that the old national anthem has been reinstated as the official anthem. As a result of this sudden switch from the one Nigerians were already used to, schools and all other institutions in Nigeria are now expected to learn and sing the old new anthem. Some Nigerian police officers were filmed reciting the anthem from their notes, showcasing their dedication to service and patriotism.

Hopefully, everyone catches up on this old new national anthem soon..

Aba discriminating Bende, and Nsuka discriminating others...Ndi Igbo is not actually known for discrimination. It's high time you all learn from Ndi Anambra. Anambra motto was once "Home for all" before it became the "Light of the Nation". I had over heard past Gov. Peter Obi saying "ndi Anambra anaghi agba oke"(Ndi Anambra don't discriminate) we take Igala and others as our own brothers despite not being Indigenous to Anambra state.
We all emanate from one ancestor, and became Ndi Igbo by birth, naturalisation, marriage and adoption.
Ndi Igbo can't go for further division our concern is strictly Anioma state, any other Igbo agitating state within the South east region should retrace to find out what's their problem and solve it.

Won't a new Anioma state that is part of the SE result in the SE having territories on both sides of River Niger.

In the event of the region becoming an independent country, the new country will control both sides of that stretch of the river.

From a strategic economic and military consideration, I don't think Nigeria will allow an Anioma state to be part of the South East.


Besides, Northerners are unlikely to vote for an additional state for the SE. Their argument is that as the geographical area of the region is quite small, there is no justification for an additional state.

It is glaring that Nigerians are not benefiting from this mess of a system and yet, we refused to do the right thing. We rather prefer to run to live in the UK, SA, Ghana, instead of facing our fears and fixing our dear land. Nigeria is 3 syllables (Nai-ji-ria)

It became 4 syllables in the colonial anthem (Nai-ji-ri-a)

This is possible because the composer thought she was doing some unfortunate peasants a favour by giving them a song to sing every morning in their animal farm

Would she have distorted Bri-taen to Bri-ta-en in the name of composing a darn song??
