U can actually live anywhere, the road networks on major roads in Lagos r now OK,so u can b working on d island n b living on the mainland in places like festac, surulere, gbagada, okota etc at least for the mentioned places its still considerable, anything aside these places.....omo na stress go kill d person (places like okoko, igando, igede, etc) |

MsDelilah: Before I started driving to work, I'd wake up by 5am, leave the house by 6am, get to Kilo bus stop to enter a bus to CMS. I work on the Island.
I'd be there for AT LEAST 20 minutes, waiting for it to get filled up. With the traffic, and the chance of the bus breaking down, I'd get to the office some minutes to 8am. 2 hours on the road!
Don't forget the fat people that you'd be unfortunate to sit beside. Or the ones that are allergic to water, soaps, deodorants, and perfumes. And I hate people toucing me, so I would always make sure I sit in front with the driver. If there are 2 seats, I'd pay for 2.
I decided, enough of this crap, and started driving to work. I've never been more relieved.
Now, I leave my house by 7:15, and get to work before 8am. Thank God n Lagos gov 4 good roads everywhere........driving made fun |

Bisjosh: I work in VI and stay at Mile2/Festac area. It takes about 1hr-1hr15mins to get to work.
Its one thing getting a bus and another thing for it to load fast. Traffic factor etc
Theres staffbus but i dont join it most times cos of the distance from my house. Which is which? U either stay in mile 2 or in festac Anyways getting to work shldnt b so mch of a biggie for u,think ur best bet is to go tru Orile-VI |
