jennex05:Get a Masters degree? How does that guarantee you a new skill? Get a Phd? For what? Learn AutoCAD? Is that what I truly want for myself? Do I want to do what others are doing? This shit works like charm, well, I do not want my thing working like a charm, because charm always has its end point. Too bad your opinion didn't count to me. Because as much as you have written this nonsense, I expected some sense of relevance which I didn't see or notice in your content. I would have rather make you talk about wanting people to discover themselves, and not making them look or feel bad. Because you are doing something and they are not. I also think that your today may be relevant, but your tomorrow can also be irrelevant. So if you have a business and it's thriving today, what happens tomorrow when you do not have a good understanding of your SWOT analysis. What happens with your competition? Especially when they chase you off the market? You make it sound like you have achieved all there is to achieve, yet we do not see you on Forbes list. |
Ben1975:Perhaps, it would have been best you introduced these free programs. Rather blab all through your message. Go ahead and introduce these programs and see what people will do, if what you are saying is true. |
timilehing:The guy is an idiot, he is just being a fool. |
luminousity:Do you mind the idiot talking. My friend had a technical course at RECTAS, if y'all don't have an idea, google it up. His major was in GIS. He got a job not long after at Artic Spatial, well guess what. He's been working there for almost a year now, and till date he hasn't been paid. And the person writing is saying stop complaining there is no job. So cos you are employed and earning a good salary, the one I am to manage, someone is using it to buy new cars for his wife and I should still stay employed. My other friend who worked for Visafone was laid off, because he had a contract position. And we all heard that MTN has just acquired Visafone, so those with permanent positions may likely work with MTN. He later got a job some place else as a customer service rep. Whilst he was there for a week, the MD came to the office and said the place was dirty. He told my friend to clean the place, which he did. The next day, they did the same thing, and for 2 weeks his role from being a customer service rep turned out to be a cleaner, and you say we should not complain? Please, help me tell the idiot that whatever he wrote up there is just a piece of nonsense. |
still the same circle. NO HOPE FOR THIS COUNTRY. |
Them don see the girls... |
kelvine:I have come to believe anything in Nigeria now oo..Shei a doctor was arrested for infusing zobo in someone instead of blood. |
goodgate:Lol.. You are an Okpe ooo.. So 550 million naira comes monthly. He is humble and drives a G wagon? So?? What does he do before we criticize him? For me, these musicians do not have it, simple. How can they have billions and they do not have an organisation in their name. Total trash abeg. |
It is funny how these people come out with such figures. Did they show you their account balance? Stop going here and there giving figures that are not true. Alibaba is not richer than his wife, yet, the wife does not have 1 billion in her account. Do you know what 1 billion is? Stop ranting and saying trash abeg. |
pastorsmiling:My question for you Have you worked somewhere before? Do you shy away from marketing jobs? Do you rely on what the so-called HR you make contact with say? For me, I believe the best thing to do is not give up. keep applying, and find 4 professionals who can do a review of your resume. The better the resume, the more chance you get being called for an interview, and of course out of 4 companies, you get one and build yourself up from there. It is well. |
Imanuelle:Lol..As a partner? Lol..Indeed... |
Oyecute:I sincerely see him holding his left ynash right now. |
lalasticlala:You are indeed a fun lady. Keeping tabs on the number of men you have slept with. Oh, and let me give you the reason why he left. Because 43 men has seen your in and out, and imagine on your wedding day, 23 of the men you had slept with were present at your wedding... If men are studs for sleeping with women, and women are slut for sleeping with men, it is because the bible had described this scene and it will forever be the same. |
Wait first na, shei they invited PWC to do some auditing, and they confirmed nothing was missing. LIE LIE oo, that 40billion dollars must fall out. |
despot77:It is easy in this country. But we ourselves makes it difficult. I will give you an example. I sent my resumes to 30 companies, 28 Nigerian companies and 2 American companies. This was what I did. I changed my address when I applied to these 2 American companies to know if it will be possible to get a message from them. This was done to be sure if my resume was in the right direction. Well, to my surprise, the very day I sent my resumes to all these companies, the 2 American companies asked me to come for an interview that same day. And for a period of 3 months now, I am yet to hear a thing from our Nigerian companies except Forte Oil, who claimed they weren't recruiting at the time. These companies in America I applied to are different, one energy firm and the other an investment company. I actually sweet talked the person and we ended up doing an interview via Skype and got the job. But they knew something was fishy as I wasn't available in the country. I did tell them the truth about wanting to know if my resume was good, and they said it was. I do think this is really a shady system we have, filled with the likes of those who want their kids to take over a company like it's some primogeniture life we all live in. I am ashamed of my country when it comes to something like this, because as much as we think the process isn't easy, it is the easiest here. |
Our system is really faulty. I know of some persons working at Sterling presently that never took tests. You did the usual process for those who ''do not know people'' and you claim a number of persons failed. My question is, the number of persons who wrote the tests, did you notify the public how many persons you needed in the first place? Did you notify the public before hand that so-so- numbers conducted the tests? Why after the whole drama did you now come up with such figures? And if those who were successful, are they all going to be permanent staffs? I am tired of walking in the banking hall, talking to some nitwits who have no clue of the banking system but yet are paid better than those who do, are paid 61k monthly based on contract with no benefit. And those who have no idea are paid x5 of what the contract staffs earn doing the same job. For me, I do believe if someone has done a good job as a contract staff for a period of years, you make them permanent staffs. But in my so-called country, you find that impossible when the factor of ''I must know someone'' is predominant. I think Sterling should go Bleep themselves, as we do not need all these stunts of listing names of persons who were successful. If one could contact some of these persons, you will find out that some didn't write the test. A friend who works at Sterling told me, Banks like Sterling recruit daily, as long as you have someone strong in the system, you will get a job. So what is the fuss about? What would have happened if 2000 persons were successful? Do you think they will have brought out this list? Nonsense. |
BeeBeeOoh:In 2010, when I served in Makurdi, Benue State, David Mark's hotel didn't have water. We fetch from the well. This is one of the worst states you will ever visit. The rate of abject poverty is alarming. You see a number of sick people, some that are contagious but because of unawareness, they walk proudly on the street. I have never seen so much pain in my life till I lived there for a year. It was really a dreadful state of unrest for everyone of us. |
sCun:I just joined today, and saw the post, I didn't go through the previous pages. Just giving my advice. |
sCun:I thought the test was done online. How then did you know 250 persons wrote the tests? |
Buskolo:Wow, 250 is a lot. I am not sure, but I think what happened at IFC last year may happen at NB. What happened was during the tests, and interview stages, everything went well, a number of persons passed the stages, it was an easy process for them. During the training, a number of us believed we had the job, we weren't concentrating, we were focused on just when to start. Extra tests were carried out after the training, and despite the fact that a number of persons still passed, a camera was fixed in the different classrooms, to find out those who asked questions regularly, those who were able to relate real life situations in the training class. It was a crazy routine, but they got who they needed. I was later informed that the three persons taken for the job were sent to Switzerland for training. They needed 10 persons, but 3 were taken. My advice to you all 250 persons, listen well, NB is a large organisation, and if you all will listen and do pretty well, you all can be given the job and at different locations I suppose. |
