Truthfully i hate soap operas , they are soooooo annoying, they almost always have the same plot, the same pattern of story, everything is usually the same. now that is my opinion on soap operas in general but you see mexican soap operas,i don't know who came up with that idea, it is a disaster. i have never watched one and i am not about to start in the near future.

I totally disagree that there are no better nigerian writters. that is a big fat lie. i know for a fact that there are nigerians that can write as good as prison break, 24, lost name it and they can write it.

There is just no excuse for those crappy soap opera things. horrible translations, same people in the soap operas with different names and different titles.

i hate them so much that if there was nothing to watch on TV except for them soap operas then i would rather switch it off and listen to the radio.

as a stage actor i can tell al pacino said it right. there is no compettion no one in their right minds would say stage is easier.

i am pissed and it did not start today. i went to celtel office to retrieve my line on friday morning, the celtel official told me to it will be ready to use saturday night. today is tuesday and it has still not been activated. i leave for work at most 7.30am and i get home for like 7.00. so you can imagine what i risked on that friday because that day i got to wrk for 9.30. now i don't how i will go back to that office. when i leave home they are not opened when i close they have closed. i feel like going to that office to strangle that celtel attendant.
i have been expecting a phone call on that line, i am sure the person has tried and tried. i am soooooooooooooooooo pissed.

i want to be an actress too and i have started by actually joining a theatre group in my school unilag. theatre is actually a good way to development rudimantary skills of acting because you not only act but learn other stuff like set building and decoration, publicvity, production management etc all these will help youn later in case you want to go into production yourself.
