You still failed to address the real issue which is that the FCTA has the legal and right to enforce land approvals and in doing so were hindered by armed officers of the navy who assaulted them.

The military have a tradition you should try and learn, a senior is a senior whether retired or not. The best approach is to meet the C-in-C to mediate, that way, nobody is embarrassed and the public would not have known. I don't support land grabbing and I won't support rascality as well. The minister acted foolishly that's why even fellow minister are cautioning him. No military officer serving or retired will support Wike actions. That is why it's said to be a national threat. The General resorted to self help instead of providing his land documents. I believe he humiliated the military & gave Wike the opportunity to dishonour the military uniform. The officer was on illegal duty. Irrespective of how we intend to glorify him, the truth is obvious.

The part in bold is the point a lot of Nigerians are missing. On what basis should our military be deployed to protect a construction site with a directive to shoot government officials who are on routine monitoring exercise? Are we in a war situation with another country over the property? Is that what we’ve reduced our armed personnel to? Instead of deploying soldiers to fight terrorism and protect the territorial integrity of Nigeria, we now deploy them with the directive to shoot government officials over an illegally acquired land. What a shame.

Like I’ve said before, all the soldiers involved in that illegal operation and show of shame including the person that deployed them to that site should have been arrested by the police and charged to court. I condone impunity far too much in this country and that’s why people get away with a lot of rubbish.

I also believe you are also missing something.
