Please I need good hospital recommendations for a first time pregnancy with multiple fibroids. Hospitals like Mother and Child, lagoon comes to mind but I can’t seem to settle on one.

I have heard about south shore hospital too.

Hi all, happy weekend, I'm a FTM, 35 going on 36 years, 31 weeks pregnant and very confused.

I had a "smooth" pregnancy (with lots of nausea and vomitting, etc) but it was ok, not until I was admitted for fibroid cs I had pains. Thankfully, the pain resolved and I've been very careful and drinking lots of water

However at my last scan, I was told my baby was small and I should eat etc I think I was 27/28 weeks then.

Oh so sorry I don’t knw much about it myself but hopefully someone comes with information about it. But what did the doctor advise u do about it?
I'm now 31 weeks pregnant and this is my scan result as of today
BPD : 7.84cm, EGA : 31wks3d HC : 28.27cm, EGA : 31wks0d AC : 23.94cm, EGA : 28wks2d FL :   6.15cm,  EGA : 31wks6d CGA : 30wks; 4days; FHR: 148bpm EFW: 1486g ± 222.97g

These are the notes from the sonographer
CONCLUSION: 1.Single Live Intrauterine Fetus at 30wks; 4days coexisting with uterine                                  fibroid.                              
2.Abdominal circumferences is below expected range for GA,raising concern for early fetal growth restriction. *Recommendation; Correlate with maternal history and risk factors.  Umbilical artery and mid cerebral artery Doppler studies recommended to assess for fetal compromises.


I'm to attend ANC on Monday and I'm just so scared, I've read up on google about having reduced abdominal circumference, I just wanted to ask if anyone in the house has had this and what the outcome was

My wife is expecting twins(boys). She's in her 35 week but presently she's being having lower abdominal pain and also having difficulty with breathing when sleeping. This is her first pregnancy I don't know if this is normal or not

if u have strong body... Why not? Go ahead, its safe... But if not, pls dont... I know sm1 dt took paracetamol n unfortunately, lost her preggy... It was really weird, i must say.... D amount of pains i was him wen i was 4weeks gone were unbearable, sneezing, catarrh n blocked nose for about 4more weeks didnt allow me rest... But d fear of d unknown made me refused to take paracetamol.... But in own case, i am kinda concerned about d elevated temperature, why dont u seek a doctor's consultation.... Having temp might not be pregnancy related

My prince charming made his grand entrance yesterday via emergency c.s due to fetal distress and placenta previa. It can only be God.

On a Thursday I went for anc...and a repeated test was carryout, again baby still breech so I was admitted the next day in preparation for CS on Monday. Several test was carryout at the lab and one showed that my potassium was low, in order to correct it I was placed on iv and other medication throughout Saturday and Sunday. Repeated test show I was good to go then Monday morning by 8 O'Clock I was scheduled for surgery... When they came for me I was so tensed I started crying but immediately I got to the theatre I prayed n ask that the will of God be done. As doctors entered I was injected in my spinal cord I became paralysed .na so doctors start to they use me the do practical. I could hear d senior Dr saying this is the first layer bla bla bla.. I did not feel any pain at all till they finished the whole process and prince charming came wee weeing...I think the whole process was about 45minutes.

Now to reason why I choose not to delay my B.S so DAT it can be a lesson to all the waddling mums..2 days after the birth of my son he was taken for immunisation, when they got to the place it was discovered that my son has jaundice so they rushed him to dere children emergency unit and when they took his blood for SB test the level was so high,I think the normal range is 0.0-20.5 but my son's result was reading 23.5 so they had to bleed him that is transfuse emergency blood for him, to reduce his SB level. I was told that phototherapy would not work for him at that time...like play like play my son stayed 4 days on admission because we did not discover the jaundice earlier.. Pls learn from this everyone.. B.S dropped MUMIBEJI take note..pls don't mind my mistake I just manage to type this..

Hello my fellow waddling mama, pls abeg help me shook mouth 4 dis my matter o... As we all knw all pregnancy comes wit deir own packages n mine are extremely low libido, imfact 0.0000 percent libido, bodyaches accompany wit pains, lower abdomen cramping thou its mild, tiredness, if hubby touch me, its as if needle is shooking me. How do u mamas do it? How do u convince ur hubby dt u dont want sex cs my hubby seems not want to understand wat i am going through? Moreover... Went 4 the normal 12weeks scan last week n it was discovered i have low lying placenta in which they say its normal, it was said most pregnancy as at 12weeks to 16weeks placenta is low lying... I cant ve sex ooo swears!!! I am so not ready... Avoiding 2 sleep on same bed with hubby... Wen i did e started touching... Na fight end am last last... Omo!!! Dis guy no understnd ooo... I dnt talk talk talk mk him hold on til i am ready, e is forming angry with me... Abeg how una dey do am?
