RomanceRe: My Gf Wants To Go To D Cinemas With Anoda Guy. by king94(m): 8:04pm On Dec 28, 2013
toke8: she even advised me to hang with one of my female friends dat is known to her while she hangs out the guy.
Chai!!! She doesn't care about who u see again. Guy, u might be forming 'heartboken' here while she's currently smiling to dat guy's dry jokes. Break up ASAP. It will be hard(cos u obviously 'love' her) but dat's d best advice I can give.
RomanceRe: My Gf Wants To Go To D Cinemas With Anoda Guy. by king94(m): 7:42pm On Dec 28, 2013
Guy, dump her quickly b4 she dumps you. She woz trying to make u feel jealous by telling u about d cinema 'ish'. If u don't break up with her nau, she will break up with u nd leave u with a 'broken' heart. Pele.

Fynestboi: Congrat to Uniben you guys rock..

Am so so dissapointed sad well there is nothing i can do, it would have been my great joy to see one of the technology school qualifies to the next round(quater final) but my hope was cut short with the both team's levity, am gonna be using this as an example for others, though this debate is not a do or die as you guys do claim, but my plan for this debate and, the way i view this online debate is far more than what you can just take like a joke, for this let wait for the decree from my able coordinator Boay. Let take note of this, time is very much important, and always learn to give prior notice to avoid the unexpected. Thank you.
I remember stating on Christmas dai dat I'm indisposed nd might not be available 4 the debate. I also remember posting yestadai by 6:46am on this thread dat I woz pulling out cos my situation got worse. We couldn't find anoda person for my partner in time. Agreed, my partner thought d debate would hold by 5pm due to yestadai's debate which woz a mistake on our part. I have nothing to say about d 'punishment'. It's done,it's done. Fynestboi, u also need to chill about d 'unseriousness' claim u made about d participants 4rm my skul. I don't appreciate it nd I'm sure my partner doesn't lyk dat degrading word.

Owkai. Let's watch nd see. He is going to win in 2015, not because of his popularity, but because of d unavailability of a suitable/better alternative.

True. Howeva, that does not make him d best performing president in Africa. He is trying his best, sha.

I humbly disagree strongly wit ur assertion. I'd honestly rate Ghana's president above Nigeria's own.

PoliticsRe: Describe President GEJ In A Sentence by king94(m): 8:04am On Dec 28, 2013
He is in charge nau. Hating won't change anytin. If u feel he is a failure, vote him out in 2015. I used to think APC were a good bunch but I changed my mind when I saw d kind of ppl they were cavorting with. They are all d same. We deserve d leaders we get cos they are a reflection of d society at large.

abouqi: If l were you, l will NEVER go near that supermarket!
But l know, a dog that must get lost will never listen to the Hunter's whistle.
Don't wait till the day of explosion, you might not be lucky enough to tell us your experience.
STAY AWAY FROM AMIGO & WONDERLAND! Those guys investigated are terribly wicked!
How do u know dat dey ar wiked. U used d word 'investigated' nd they were left off d hook. If d nigerian courts found them not to be guilty of any crime, its all gud. If u won't shop at amigo, that is fyn by me. Howeva, don't come here nd try to spoil ppl dat were exonerated by d courts.
PoliticsRe: The Man Behind The @occupynaija Twitter Handle That Queried Ngozi Okonjo Iweala by king94(m): 10:19pm On Dec 27, 2013
I honestly don't know why ppl support politicians that loot us dry. We deserve d leaders we get. I don't care about choosing sides right nau. A day will come when this country will be forced to change for d better.

fctguy: Very boring rubbish huh
I actually enjoyed it. If ur courts can't find dem guilty, why are u 'hala-ing'?
BusinessRe: Photos - Amigo Supermarket Abuja Re-opens? by king94(m): 11:14am On Dec 27, 2013
The courts acquitted d owner of d supermarket. If u have a problem wit dat, u can go and protest in the court premises.

snoopy: @eliotwiz and getrichfast actually references are important. Firstly this is a competition and you need to provide verifiable sources of ur information to determine the veracity of used facts. Secondly, anybody could just google up stuff and overlift any material with little or no individual effort and therefore references are needed to acknowledge whose material was used else it would amount to plagiarism. The same way final year students and even up to phd students who write their thesis and dissertations are required to properly reference any material that was used and doing otherwise could attract a penalty. Besides prior to your debate, there had been cases where marks were deducted from those who didn't properly reference their materials and it makes me wonder how y'all could have repeated the same mistake. I hope u understand my point
If references are so important, how come marks were not deducted from my essay for FUTA in d first roundhuh?
EducationRe: Nairaland Interschool Debate. :::Planning Thread by king94(m): 10:37am On Dec 21, 2013
Elliotwiz1: i know you'll be saying, why am i taking this so seriously, my fellow debators won't understand how it feels.....i am not taking this as a do or die affair, its just the zeal to resist wrong, its what makes us human, people fight civil war because they feel they're being cheated, nothing more....it's the human nature. I believe that we should speak for the truth when we see it regardless of how it affects us..
I undastand ur pain.

What do u think?

PoliticsRe: I Did Not Write Any Letter To My Father-iyabo Obasanjo by king94(m): 2:20pm On Dec 18, 2013
true2god: I may not be 100% sure, but im 95% certain that the said letter might have come from his daughter. If his son (obasanjo's) can accuse him of sleeping with his wife, then why wont anyone believe the letter comes from the daughter, especially when vanguard, a national daily newspaper aired the news.

One thing i hav come to realize overtime is that an average yoruba is tracheruos. They will betray you whether you are their father, brother, sister, compatriot (hausa or igbo), it doesnt matter. It is genetic.

So i am not surprised at all. Im sorry if i hurt my yoruba friends on nairaland but i hav to say what i knw over years of interraction with variios ethnic groups in naija.
Don't be tribalistic. We don't 'betray' people. We only tell them d bitter truth.
PoliticsRe: I Did Not Write Any Letter To My Father-iyabo Obasanjo by king94(m): 1:50pm On Dec 18, 2013
I've learnt not to get moved by anytin in Nigeria. This issue will soon blow over(as others have). We, the followers, are not persistent with our demands which is why our leaders take us for granted.
PoliticsRe: I Did Not Write Any Letter To My Father-iyabo Obasanjo by king94(m): 1:22pm On Dec 18, 2013
Olaolufred: Thanks.

If you want to wait, It is a good choice.

The mistake you made was to make that comment instead of waiting.

You can keep waiting.

But, OBJ can finish Vanguard with this if he wants to.
I didn't make a mistake with d comment. I simply put out wot I knw about letters from 'daughters to fathers'.
PoliticsRe: I Did Not Write Any Letter To My Father-iyabo Obasanjo by king94(m): 1:17pm On Dec 18, 2013

He is wrong. Nothing can be otherwise.
Yeah. U have a point nd I give it to you. However, I wouldn't be so hasty to discredit d letter. Let's watch nd see how it unfolds.

superstar1: ....and you went ahead to publish an unsigned correspondence purportedly emanating from ''daughter to father''

They will need a SAN that was trained in Oxford, Cambridge and harvard for the suit that will come their way.

Informal letters are hardly signed but you can write your qualifications -- PhD DVM while writing to your father?
I don't think a newspaper would go to print witout some evidence of proof. I've not heard d 'rainbow interview' so I can't jump to conclusions. I'm not supporting any1 because I don't know wot has been done and said in private. I would never jump to the defence of politicians because d majority are thieves and don't care about d ppl shouting on nairaland.

Olaolufred: DEAR THE OCTOPUS,

I SAW THE PDF LETTER CERTIFIED BY VANGUARD NEWSPAPER,

BUT I DID NOT SEE A SIGNED PDF LETTER WRITTEN BY IYABO OBASANJO.

GO TO PREMIUM TIMES WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD OBASANJO'S LETTER TO JONATHAN.

YOU WILL SEE A SIGNATURE THERE, HENCE OBJ HAD NOT DENIED IT.

PLEASE LET US DISCUSS THIS INTELLECTUALLY AND NOT LIKE TOUTS.
OK, IT IS YOUR TURN TO BRING A BETTER ARGUMENT.
Do you sign letters written to your father? Informal letters are hardly signed.
