Medicine in Chile is very expensive and very competitive. You need like all distinctions. The minimum is like 12000 to 15000 usd a year. Chilean doctors don't migrate. Doctors are very well paid in Chile. Resident doctors get above 100k usd annually when converted and that's a lot of money in Chile. Healthcare is of two types public and private. The public healthcare is free but shitty and inefficient. The private is expensive. Education is free until university but there are loans they take to go to university.
