Disputable Ghanaian pastor, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has gone viral on social media for his latest stunt in church. The 41-year-old minister amid one of his church service disclosed  his plan to fly to heaven and endeavored to in the presence of his congregation.



Daniel Obinim, also known as Bishop Obinim or Angel Obinim (b. 29 August, 1977), is a Ghanaian pastor known for self-proclaimed spiritual powers.  He is also known for extreme Christian practices which have often sparked national outrage for infringement on rights of church members. Many have blamed him for being a false minister. Obinim is the Head Pastor of the International Godsway Ministries.

Notwithstanding Pastor Obinim guaranteeing his members of returning, they begged him to stop because it wasn’t yet time for him to ‘abandon’ them and supposedly go back to heaven to continue his angel duties.! They must miss him in heaven.



Reports reveal that Obinim is well known for his self-proclaimed spiritual powers.  He uses to capture the attention of his thousands of church members scattered in different branches across Ghana. He is the founder and head pastor of International Godsway Ministries, where he once declared that he is an angel and added the title to his name.

No wonder, recently, he went viral after a video emerged online. In it, Angel Obinim, was desirous of going back home to heaven. But he was stopped by his members who begged the angel to remain on earth with them. watch the video below:



Despite Pastor Obinim assuring his members of returning, they begged him to stop because it wasn’t yet time for him. Time  to ‘abandon’ them and supposedly go back to heaven to continue his angel duties. Wawu! They must miss him in heaven.

Meanwhile, a famous Ghanaian counselor recently opined that King James bible version is only for transgenders. George Lutterodt cautioned Christians against reading it, insisting that the version is compiled primarily for wrongdoers.

In 2014 Obinim was seen on television stepping on the belly of a woman in a “deliverance” ritual.This led the Amnesty International in Ghana to call for his prosecution for assault. Daniel Obinim has made several public controversial declarations.

He declared he was an angel, which led to the name “Angel Obinim” given to him by his church. He also seemed to have conjured a passport for a church member who lost his. In 2016, he told his church he could transform himself and others into objects and animals. Jon Benjamin, the British High Commissioner to Ghana, ridiculed him for these claims over Twitter.

Obinim in August 2016 freely lashed two youngsters, one of whom was pregnant, on live TV, blaming them for having sex. And conspiring to prematurely end a pregnancy, leading to public outcry, after the video also went viral on social media. Ghana’s Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Protection Nana Oye Lithur herself led a campaign for his arrest, by lodging a complaint to the Ghana Police Service Domestic Violence and Victims’ Support Unit (DOVVSU). He was subsequently arrested.

Popes misleading the church into false doctrine

This is the mindset of radical Catholic reactionaries today, directed not only against Blessed Pope Paul VI, but also against Pope St. John Paul II.

How could the very Pope who unleashed what he himself lamented—too little too late—as a “spirit of auto-demolition” in the Church, including a “liturgical reform” that led to what Cardinal Ratzinger called “the collapse of the liturgy,” the same Pope who wondered how “the smoke of Satan” had entered the Church during his tumultuous reign, be raised to the altars as a model of Catholic virtue for veneration and imitation by all the faithful?

Sam Sham • I do not accept the validity of any of Jorge Bergoglio’s “canonizations.” I would have a tough time accepting canonizations done by anyone since the silly relaxation in the process and elimination of the “devil’s advocate.” In the case of two popes and the inevitable designation of Paul VI, this can be seen as nothing more than the “canonization” of Vatican II.

His mother’s grave has Masonic symbols on it. If Pope Benedict canonized Paul VI I WOULD have a problem.

But, as Pope, he is the object of not little debate: he promulgated the most liberal texts of the Council (Gaudium et Spes, Unitatis Redintegratio, Nostra Aetate, Dignitatis Humanae); he led a liturgical reform that turned sacred liturgy upside down and inside out; and several other things, big and small, such as the suppression of the extremely ancient and venerable Roman Subdiaconate.
Paul VI fully embodies Vatican II. It is precisely for this reason that he has been chosen for canonization, as the Popes of the Council and post-Council, who have been canonized one after the other: John XXIII, John Paul II…
Is Paul VI presented to the Church as an example due to the publication of Humanae Vitae? Or rather for his “ecumenical gestures”, such as having given in 1966 to the archbishop of Canterbury, Michael Ramsey, his pastoral ring and a chalice — which allowed Cardinal Coccopalmerio to affirm that the Anglican ordinations could be considered valid: “What could it mean for Paul VI the fact of giving a chalice to the archbishop of Canterbury? If it was to allow for the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, the Eucharist, it was out of consideration for valid ceremonies, right?” And we could go on: John Paul II was an example for the solid defense of Humanae Vitae, or rather for having organized the sadly famous “Assisi meeting”?

We must dare say it: by canonizing all Vatican II popes, it is Vatican II that is canonized. But, likewise, canonization itself is devalued when it becomes a sort of medal thrown on top of a casket. Maybe a council that was “pastoral” and not dogmatic is deserving of canonizations that are “pastoral” and not dogmatic.

Good ol’ Catholic Family News certainly didn’t want to miss this opportunity to bash Pope Paul VI, or to be outdone by its fellow reactionary fanatics. In an editorial of 2-6-18, entitled, “The Imminent ‘Canonization’ of Paul VI” it thunders:
CFN will be covering this unhappy development on the web and in our upcoming March issue in depth; we recommend reading Fr. Luigi Villa’s Paul VI Beatified?, available online here in the interim.
The ‘canonization’ of Papa Montini is nothing else than a ‘canonization’ of the sordid agenda and disastrous orientation of Vatican II, the abysmal Novus Ordo Missae, and the embarrassing entirety of post-conciliar legislation and innovation.
. . . we . . . . [should] resist this fixed ecclesiastical farce, . . .

Then there is Phil Lawler: the respectable, renowned, mild-mannered Catholic journalist widely described and praised as orthodox and measured and calm and collected and objective and scholarly (not given to extremes or fanaticism at all; no, not him!) and slow to arrive at difficult conclusions (etc., ad nauseam). He wrote that the pope was:
"leading the Church away from the ancient sources of the Faith. . . .  radical nature of the program that he is relentlessly advancing. . . encouraged beliefs and practices that are incompatible with the prior teachings of the Church. . . . a Roman pontiff who disregarded so easily what the Church has always taught and believed and practiced on such bedrock issues as the nature of marriage and of the Eucharist . . . a danger to the Faith . . .

 

Goodness, too bad! I was mistaken for a minute there. Lawler was composing about Pope Francis, not Blessed Pope Paul VI. It was such comparable "sky is falling down" talk that I got it mixed  up (my terrible). He composed these comments in the Introduction to his book, Lost Shepherd. Yet, he never remotely proved the statements in the book. Hence, I have portrayed understanding it and sitting tight for the "verifications" of these genuine allegations — that never came – , as like "peeling an onion.

94-Year-Old Man Baptized With 5,000 Litres Of Boiled Water
A 94-year-old man from Baringo County in Kenya, named as William Chesang alias Dr Kahawa who disclosed that it has always been his childhood desire to go through the Christian ritual of baptism, got his dream on Friday, July 5, as he was baptized with 5,000 litres of boiled water.
The peculiar baptism for the nonagenarian was done by Ossen AIC church, and in photos shared, Chesang could be seen seated calmly beside the pool as he awaited for the water to get warm so that he could finally be baptized.
According to Reverend Elijah Katya who presided over the baptism, they were forced to heat the water for baptism due to cold weather and the age of the frail old man, and it took them at about two hours to boil the more than 5,000 liters of boiled water using firewood and electric heaters.


It was a spectacular moment as the elderly man’s face lit up with joy as he got a new name, William, after the baptism process was over. Chesang’s daughter, Lilian Ruto, expressed happiness that her father was baptized as it was his dream for a very long time.

A security guard was patrolling the grounds of Ibika Clinic, Butterworth, South Africa on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 when she stumbled upon something that shocked her. The security guard saw a box with a blanket in an open area, and she was on her way to kick it when she saw a tiny baby hand lifting up. To her shock, the guard found a new born baby in the box and she immediately called one of the nurses, who took the baby to Butterworth Hospital. We learned the baby was covered a blanket and placed in the box along with a heart wrenching note. The note read, “Please take care of me or give me up for adoption. I deserve better than my mother could give me.

According to the province’s Health Department spokesman Lwandile Sicwetsha, the baby is in a good condition at the hospital. However, Sicwetsha added the matter would be handed over to the police for investigation and to social services. He added the baby would be taken to a place of safety or be given up for adoption. However, an investigation has to be launched first. A Police spokesman said thus far no case had been opened, and they can not start with a further investigation until one is opened.

Ravaging flood across Delta State has sacked 63 communities, and destroyed 43 houses in the past one month.

The affected communities, investigation disclosed, are within Koko, Warri North, Araya, Isoko South Local Government Area, Agbarhor Ughelli North, and some part of Jesse and Oghara communities.

In the last three weeks in Delta State, torrential rainfalls have constituted flood menace in many communities in the state, and had sacked its residents, destroying their houses in the process. Investigation revealed that the affected communities also had crops in their farm lands damaged with deep cuts in various parts

Mr. Justus Okwogba Araya, community President who spoke to DAILY POST, stated: “we need the state government’s intervention. We have nowhere to go, our crops destroyed, houses destroyed including our roads”.
But the state government, through the Commissioner for Environment, Mr. John Nani remarked that the dredging of Nana creek would not only address the flood menace, but also improve water transportation in the area as well as enhance the economic well being of the people.

He stated, “the state government is committed to adopting proactive measures to tackle the menace some of the communities are currently faced with the challenges are sad, but will open up the blocked drainage in the affected areas, it is unfortunate that houses were destroyed, and residents of the affected areas sacked, we will relocate them to befitting areas, and step up proactive measures.”

The commissioner expressed optimism that problems associated with flooding in the area would be over after the dredging exercise.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Firefighters toiled in stifling heat Saturday on the lines of destructive wildfires across the U.S. West, making progress against some blazes while struggling to tame others that have forced evacuations of hundreds of homes.



In heat-stricken Southern California, powerful winds that sent an overnight inferno hopscotching through the Santa Barbara County community of Goleta vanished in the morning, allowing firefighters to extinguish smoldering ruins of an estimated 20 structures, including homes.

“It’s really given us a good opportunity to get in there and get some work done,” said county fire Capt. Dave Zaniboni.

The wildfires was stopped at about 100 acres (40.5 hectares) or less and teams were working on an accurate tally of damage in the neighborhood, where some houses were in ruins while homes next door were intact.
Eric Durtschi stood outside his destroyed house, where a burned-out car stood in the driveway and kids’ bicycles were strewn about.
Durtschi, his wife and six children had left Utah and moved in just a few weeks ago. He said he hadn’t yet told his 2 oldest children their home was gone. He managed to collect his seriously burned vintage guns, hoping to salvage them.

A neighbor’s home across the street was spared. The man had stayed through the night spraying down other people’s houses.
In some other place in Southern California, firefighters increased containment of a central San Diego County fire that rapidly spread over 400 acres (162 hectares), destroyed 18 structures and damaged eight, and a wildfire in the San Bernardino National Forest was holding at 1.5 square miles (404 hectares) and forced evacuation of about 700 homes in the mountain community of Forest Falls.

The wildfires also burned on the Marine Corps’ sprawling Camp Pendleton base in northern San Diego County.

The Southern California fires erupted Friday as a very strong high pressure over the West spawned an epic heat wave that saw parts of Los Angeles broil in temperatures up to 117 degrees (47.2 Celsius). There was mild relief overnight.

“Temperatures at 8 a.m. were ridiculously over 100 degrees” in foothills near Forest Falls and many inland valleys, the National Weather Service narrated.

Forecasters said the region’s siege of heat would gradually ease through the weekend, but the unstable air mass unleashed downpours that triggered flash-flood warnings for the mountains northeast of Los Angeles.
Further up north and just south of the California-Oregon border, the 34-square-mile (88-square-kilometer) Klamathon Fire in rural Siskiyou County was just 5 percent contained. The body of a resident was found Friday in the ruins of a home, among 15 destroyed structures tallied so far.

Authorities described this wildfires as“extreme fire behavior with movement in multiple directions,” with threats to the California communities of Hornbrook and Hilt as well as Colestin, Oregon. Ray Haupt, chairman of the county Board of Supervisors, said losses included homes and livestock.

Elsewhere in California, the 138-square-mile (357-square-kilometer) County Fire northwest of Sacramento was nearly 50 percent contained. Ten structures were counted destroyed but damage assessments were continuing.
In Utah, authorities allowed the return of some residents who fled a wildfire near a popular fishing lake 80 miles (130 kilometers) southeast of Salt Lake City. The blaze has burnt about 75 square miles (193 square kilometers) and destroyed 90 structures, including homes, cabins, sheds, and garages, since starting Sunday in the mountains.

In Colorado, firefighters took advantage of occasional rainstorms to extend their containment lines at several large wildfires.
In the south, crews Saturday contained about 45 percent of a 167-square-mile (433-square-kilometer) fire that has destroyed more than 130 homes, while in Rocky Mountain ski country firefighters from 20 states were battling an 8-square-mile (22-square-kilometer) wildfire above the Roaring Fork Valley. Commanders said they wished for one-third containment by late Sunday.

Crews also had fifty percent containment of a southwestern Colorado fire that has blackened 85 square miles (220 square kilometers) north of Durango. Authorities said Saturday that afternoon storms could produce flash floods and mudslides in burn scars.

And in central Colorado’s Park County, crews encircled a third of a spotty fire that forced the Buffalo Creek Wilderness to close. A stretch of busy U.S. Highway 285 between Fairplay and Antero Junction reopened Saturday.

There was a mild drama in a commercial bus in Akwa, Anambra state when two Christians from different denominations clashed in a bid to lead prayers in the vehicle.

According to a lady called Juliet Ifediba, a pastor had stood up to share the regular prayers that are not known to occur in bus but then almost immediately, a lady of the Catholic denomination stood up and started her own prayers.

Although the pastor stood by and waited patiently for her to finish, it seems she intended to share a rather lengthy prayer of 21 decades of the rosary. Many people voiced out there preference for a rather brief prayer and that was how all hell broke loose.

The seemingly troublesome woman began to yell on the top of her voice, demanding they joined her in praying the rosary, much to the dismay of the passengers in the bus.

Something happened in this bus on Tuesday. According to my mum who entered this bus in awka. She said “look at the man in black suit is a pastor. As the pastor stood up to pray, there is another elderly woman standing up.”.. According to what my my mum learnt the woman is a Roman Catholic. Immidiately the woman started shouting on Top of her voices as if someone is dragging rosary with her.,, then the pastor who was waiting patiently found out that the intention of the woman wasn’t to pray a peaceful prayers rather to bring a denominational fight….started a praise song through the as that video is a evidence that shows that 98% of the occupants of the bus join the pastor in praises.. The woman was left alone with hers..

“Politicians must not promote violence in the coming Ekiti election. God said He would visit His anger on the household of whoever does that. The results of the election must not be manipulated. Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other stakeholders in the election must be fair and thorough in their conducts.

Votes of Ekiti people must be allowed to count. The electoral process must not manipulated in favour of any candidate and actual winner declared winner of the election. God told me if the conduct of Ekiti election is fraudulent, the 2019 general election will fail.

On the killer herdsmen activities in the country, the cleric said God is set to intervene in the situation as their operations will be curtailed soon.

“Power will change hand on the activities of the killer herdsmen soon. Their sponsors and promoters will soon be fish out, apprehended and prosecuted. God said we should relax and see what He is going to do about them.
What we do not know is that, those that are behind their operations are somewhere plotting to cause havoc on daily basis, but it is another thing and and different people we are suspecting to be the brains behind the heinous crime they are committing”.

Commenting on the plan by the federal government’s intention to establish cattle ranches across the country to curb herdsmen/ farmers clashes, Prophet Kasali said that may not be solution as other groups in the related business could be making such demand which may the difficult for government to meet.

Kasali, however, urged Nigerians to continue to earnestly pray for President Buhari.

According to astronomers, there will be two bodies in the heavens at the end of July which will both appear as red -- the planet Mars and Earth's moon.

On July 27, Mars will look brighter in the night sky and it will appear brighter than it was in 2003, the website Space.com reports. Mars will be 35.98 million miles from the earth and will be 10 times brighter than usual
On the very same day, Earth's moon will also appear red, but only for a couple of hours. According to astronomers, it will be the longest total lunar eclipse of the century lasting 1 hour and 43 minutes.

The eclipse will best be seen in Africa, the Middle East, southern Asia and the Indian Ocean.
Space.com reports the moon will remain in the earth's shadow for nearly 4 hours total.

Lunar eclipses occur when the moon passes into the Earth's shadow, directly opposite of the sun. Unlike solar eclipses, lunar eclipses are safe to view. You don't need special lenses or a box -- just your own eyes.

According to Space.com, the event known as a Blood Moon occurs when the moon moves completely into the deepest part of Earth's shadow, known as the umbra. The moon becomes red instead of getting black. The red color comes from some of the sunlight going through Earth's atmosphere. The sunlight bends and falls onto the moon's surface. (Earth's air also scatters shorter-wavelength light — think of colors such as blue or green — which leaves behind red at the longer-wavelength end of the spectrum.)

The time of greatest eclipse will be 4:21 p.m. EDT (2021 GMT) on July 27, according to EarthSky.org. The total eclipse will last from 3:30 p.m. to 5:13 p.m. EDT (1930 to 2113 GMT).
More lunar eclipses are on the horizon. The next total lunar eclipse visible from North America will occur on Jan. 21, 2019, favoring viewers on the West Coast, Space.com reports. The total phase will last about 1 hour and 2 minutes. Later that year, on July 16, there will be a partial eclipse. July 16, 2019, also happens to be the 50th anniversary of the launch of the first moon landing mission, Apollo 11.

The news about the Blood Moon appearing at the end of the month has some Christians glad. They believe the Blood Moon is a direct sign from God and a biblical fulfillment of prophecy.

The Blood Moon is foretold by the Bible in the book of Joel 2:31, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come."

Also in Acts 2:20, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:"
And, in the book of Revelations 6:12, "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; andthe sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;"

It could be inferred from all of the scriptures that the moon turning blood red as a heavenly sign the end times are fast approaching.
Even though the Earth is still turning after many countless Blood Moon events since the passages were written, some believers are still captivated by the Blood Moon prophecy. Some preachers claim the Blood Moon eclipses are a true sign of the end of the world. Something they believe will happen in the near future.


Paul Begley is one of the pastor that stands by his faith that the Blood Moon is a biblical sign of the last days.
According to the UK's Express Newspaper, in a recent online broadcast from Indiana, he said: "Just take a look at this. Look at this prophetic sign, look at the era we're in, look at what the Bible says in Acts Chapter 2:16-21 and recognize the realization I am prophesying to you that the coming of the Lord is soon."

"No I don't believe it's July 27," Begley stated. "I repeat. July 27 is not the end of the world but prophetically the events that are taking place are being prophesied to you, not only from the world of the Lord, not only from the prophetic voices of today's modern-day watchmen but also prophetically being revealed to you in the heavens above."
