Nigerian universities are not well funded...which is why ASUU keeps going on strike.

In 2019, South Africa spent $23 billion on education. Nigeria spent $3 billion out of a budget of $26 billion on education. Then SA fees are higher than Nigerian fees.(At Cape town university, fees are at 21500 RAND or 560000 naira.. Fees at your average university here are far less than that)
