He sneaked back into the APC and no-one even noticed. These are the people singing into the President's ears that they can deliver Northern votes for him. Elrufai has almost single-handedly revived the opposition but he's the one who's irrelevant? Anyways, we will all learn politics together.

It hurts me when people especially someone like Reno Omokri bashing El-rufai and the only weapon they have is 'southern Kaduna' and 'Northern Christians'

If Elrufai did these groups of people wrong in his time as governor, where were they to stop him? If anyone has the moral right to condemn El-rufai, that man isn't Reno.
Ahmed Nasir El-Rufai is a more sophisticated and relevant politician over Reno, Bwala and the remaining agberos that PR for the president. These guys only fan the flame for their friends who have interest in Kaduna and the north.
Southern Kaduna has senators and leaders who should do the wailing for them and not someone who can't name a single LGA talk more of village in southern Kaduna.
Atiku for example, enjoys free votes from Southern Kaduna but has never once, truly sympathized with them and someone is blaming El-rufai for something that was triggered during the PDP days.

All this grouping and divide-and-rule tactics is our real problem. Saying 'Northern Christian' is derogatory to me even if I'm a Christian from Kaduna state because that way, you've successfully divided the region and any benefit due the region will be 'shared' along that line of division.
