In Abuja, on Friday, the Federal Government filed a new application before the Federal High Court in Abuja, commanding for the immediate recall of the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Nnamdi Kanu's bail granted to him.

The FG filed the application under the influence of section 169 and 137(2) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.

The FG said Kanu has become a threat to national security and has override his freedom, after carried out acts that can cause havoc in the country.

Apart from seeking Kanu's bail cancellation, the FG also filed an order “directing the arrest and committing of the 1st defendant to custody pending trial”.

This application was filed in less than 24 hours after the coalition of Arewa Youths asked for the arrest of Kanu, following that they called off the deep threatening quit notice issued to the Igbos in the northern region, asking them to vacate before October 1st or face their brutal wrath.

It reads:

“The 1st Defendant is standing trial for alleged offences of conspiracy to commit acts of treasonable felony, treasonable felony and other related offences before this Honourable Court.

“That the offence for which he is standing trial is not ordinarily bailable.

“That due to the magnanimity of this Honourable court and its quest for justice and fairness he was granted bail on health grounds on 25th April, 2017.

“And that he should not grant any interviews, hold or attend any rallies. “And that he should file in court medical updates of his health status every month.

“That rather than observing all of the conditions listed above, the 1st defendant in flagrant disobedience to the court order flouted all conditions of the bail.

“The first defendant has in furtherance to the offence he was charged, inaugurated Biafra Security Service.

“That such an act is a grave threat to national security and unity of the country.

“That the grounds mentioned above constitute special circumstances hence this application.

“That this court has the power to grant this application”, it added.

“That the said rally with a crowd exceeding 10 persons was captured in a video published on the 1st June 2017 and circulated throughout the length and breadth of Nigeria and beyond through the internet platform of YouTube;

“That the YouTube video was download and is attached to this affidavit and marked NK1. That a certificate; Identifying the CD ROM containing the video and describing the manner in which it was produced; Giving such particular of any device involved in the production of that CD ROM as may be appropriate for the purpose of showing that the CD ROM was produced by a computer;

“It was signed by a person occupying a responsible position in relation to the operation of the relevant device.

“That the said rally was not held in a synagogue but at the residence of the 1st defendant on Friday evening May 26th, 2017 and ended on Saturday May 27th, 2017;

“That the rally was tagged “the holy day of Shabbat” to pray for the restoration of “Biafra state”;

“That the 1st defendant equally incited his members to disrupt, disallow and boycott elections in south East Sates, starting with Anambra State Gubernatorial Election schedule for November 18, 2017, if the Federal Government failed to hold referendum for the realisation of the state of Biafra;

“That the 1st defendant’s address published by vanguard online news, dated June 23, 2017is also attached to this affidavit and marked exhibit NK2;

“That the bail granted the defendant/applicant was to enable him go and take care of his health and not for any other purpose;

“That instead of the 1st Defendant to use the opportunity to attend to his health need, he has in furtherance of the offence charged, inaugurated a security outfit known as Biafra Security Service(BSS);

“That his action is a serious threat to security of this country as well as a threat to national unity.

“That from the deposition in the affidavit in support of this application, it is clear that the essence of the bail granted the 1st defendant/applicant is defeated.

“That it will serve the best interest of justice to grant this application as the 1st Defendant/Respondent will not be prejudiced”.

Africa's most richest man, Aliko Dangote, is about to mount the Nigeria's first world-class university of science and technology worth of N200 billion in Abuja.

Reports revealed that Aliko, who is the President and founder of Dangote Foundation has tabled the proposal to the National University Commission, NUC. On the other side, a former Executive Secretary of the NUC, Julius Okojie, who is currently the chairman of the technical team in charge in establishment of university, disclosed that the purposed of the N200 billion university is to push up the economic growth as the University will be 100% technology driven.

Aliko intention is to build a 100% University of technology with total infrastructure and equipment, therefore attracting students aside the country, according to NOUN.

The chief Executive officer CEO of the foundation, Zouera Yousouffou said the foundation is fully prepared to carry on with the project with N200 billion , saying that the land had been bought and also being set out in the country's capital.

Fed-up housewife wife, Amina Sulaiman, who is currently seeking divorce in an Illorin court, said on Thursday that her husband can not even afford to buy her underwear.

Amina after revealing the reason behind seeking divorce pleaded with the court to dissolve her marriage, saying that her husband has failed as a man.

She disclosed to the court that she has been cartering for the family, and now it has gotten to the point where she can no longer continue.

“Our marriage is blessed with two children, but to eat in the house is a problem.

“He will not pay the children’s school fees; he cannot even afford to give me money for my underwear.

“There is always chaos in the house and I can no longer bear it or tolerate his attitude and lack of care.

“I pray the court to put an end to this marriage,” she pleaded with the court.

Her husband failed to appear before the court to tell his own side of the story and also defend himself.

The judge, Me Abdul Quadri, attested to the fact that Amina's husband beforehand sent a letter acknowledging his wife's move for divorce.

However, Quadri commanded the termination of the marriage, explaining that it is under the agreement of the couple.

Former Juventus player and France International, Paul Pogba has praised the influence of the new signing, Nemanja Matic, explaining that partnering with Matic allows him to bring out his best.

Reports received from Sapele Olofofo stated that the two friends engaged into argument as they party and it got into a deeper argument which resulted into fighting themselves.

In Sapele, Delta state, a member of a gang of suspected thieves, who tried to do away with a generator set over the weekend was apprehended, mercilessly beaten and handcuffed.

Reports disclosed that the apprehended and his gang who were said to have been disturbing the area were over the weekend attempting to steal away a generator set before the someone caught them and voiced out.

Earlier today, Charly boy who is leader of the protest tagged, "Our mumu don do" asking the president to resign or resume office, was attacked and was nearly lynched by angry youths in Wuse market in Abuja.

An eyewitness present at the event that played out said the protest later turned out to be ethnic conflict as involving Hausas and Igbos throwing stones at each other in the market.

PDP’s former Youth leader, Deji Adeyanju wrote in his tweet:

“We just went to Wuse market for mobilization against 100 days event tomorrow & a regular face at Unity Fountain brought thugs to attack us.”
“Charly Boy came to this market with some cameramen doing his protest here.I was standing in front of my shop when I saw him running for his dear life, being chased by those youth,” a trader at the market said.
“They nearly lynched him, because those youth almost overpowered police security near him.”

Charly boy was saved by the security operatives who released gunshots and tear-gas to chase them away.

The security operatives later showed up to carry away Charly boy's car from the market, releasing tear-gas as they angry northern youths tried to stop him. Wuse market is highly dominated by the Hausas of which many are largely supporting Buhari. As it stands, the gate of the market is closed and positioning of highly armed security operatives.

A meat seller in the market who witnessed the incident said:

“Charly Boy caused it, how can he come here to be talking against Buhari.

Those Hausa boys dealt with him,”

Another tweet from Adeyaju, disclosed that Charly boy's car was damaged following the event that play out.

On Monday, Nasarawa state police command apprehended two persons after a mob descended on a soldier and beat him to death, Lance Cpl. Ayuba Ali in Akwunga, Nasarawa state.

DSP Kennedy Idirisu, the command's spokesman, attested to the newsman on Monday in Lafia, the arrests made.

Reports from Idirisu depicted that the deceased soldier from Maiduguri who was riding a motorbike supposedly knock down a Hawker at Agwan Affi area of the town.

He said the victimized soldier, who was on mufti outfit looked to appease the hawker, but it turned the other way round as angry youth descending on him sending him to coma.

Resulting to that the soldier later gave up his ghost in the hospital, while investigation commenced.

It has been almost impossible to arrest all the people responsible for the evil act.

However, an eyewitness, Mr. John Abimiku told the pressmen that people many have ran away following the issue on ground.

Abimiku said:

“As I speak with you now, about four military trucks are stationed in the area and soldiers are picking up any youth on sight,” Abimiku added.

He claimed that two persons who were among the people that rushed the soldier to the hospital after the mob attack have been arrested by the police.

Three British men who sexually assaulted a Malaysian woman have been sentenced to jail and flogging in Singapore.

The accused, Khone Tam Thanh, 22, Vu Thai Son, and Michael Le, 24 were looked to carry out a rape advances towards the woman in the Hotel room. However, the three pleaded guilty of the allegation.

Over the Weekend, an Argentinian hunter lost his life in the mission to hunt for elephant in Namibia, instead, one of the elephants crushed him and left him lifeless.

The 46-year-old, Jose Monzalvez, went to hunt in a private wildlife area of the small town of Kalkfeld, the Namibia Press Agency reported.

Three Namibia hunters have been killed before the death of the Argentinian, NPA reported.

The Police disclosed that the elephants sighted the hunters from a distance and pursued them. Before the move to attack the hunters the elephants had charged the hunters.

According to a local report, Monzalvez possesses a permit to operate as a hunter.

The World Wildlife Fund has tagged elephants as "vulnerable" with the number of 415,000 living in the wild, because that are being hunted.

Kano have been thrown into great bewilderment as a 45-year-old man, Balarabe Huruna of Hausawa Sabon Titi quarters, Kano municipal killed himself by knowingly jumping into a family well.

The father of 10 and a small trader reportedly excused his family and moved to jump into the family well at the centre of the compound. According to Vanguard, the deceased was treated of malaria parasite and he was recovering fast before the unimaginable happened. The family said they have no backup reason to why he took such action, knowing well he is not suffering from mental illness.

Notwithstanding, the first son of the deceased, Balarabe Mahmud, said the incident took place at about 2pm on Saturday when the family was commanded to excuse him. Mahmud said, “we left our home in strict compliance with his directives to allow my ailing father have complete rest only to return home and discovered he was missing.

“we immediately raised a search team only for us to notice strange movement in the Well as we promptly invited men of the Fire service department to the rescue”

Deep searching of the service operation which lasted for hours led to finding his deceased body inside the well.

Attesting to the event that took place, Director Fore Service in Kano, Mohammad Rilwan disclosed that they arrived the scene around 3pm following an emergency call received. He said the deceased was “rescued dead and delivered to the family after a formal request.”

Reaching to the Police Relations Officer, Kano Command, DSP Magaji Musa Majia, he said the event that took place has not been rightly reported to the police.

Caden Benjamin, age 10, from Mpumalanga, South Africa, has shockingly gathered a massive 90 kilogrammes weight. Apparently, he is facing an unusual genetic disorder known as Prader-Willi syndrome, which stirs up hunger at every time.

His mother, Zola realised Caden's excessively call for food at age 3 when he is weighing 40 kilogrammes

However, she visited many hospitals to know the cause of the problem, but they were unable to get the real cause of his steady hunger and gaining excess weight.

After much medical search, a doctor at Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria conducted some tests and diagnosed Caden with Prader-Willi syndrome, an incurable health condition that up to 20,000 people are currently facing in the world.

Zola speaks on Caden style of eating:

“Normally he would start off the day by eating four slices of cheese toast and then an hour later he would drink coke and eat leftover food from the night before,” his mother told local press.

“Then at lunch he’d eat two large pieces of chicken. He’d eat hourly for the rest of the day.”

The doctor explained:

“He’s really battling. I feel so terrible... but the doctors said that if I want to see my son alive, then he has to go on a diet,” Zola Benjamin said. “At one point, Caden was eating toilet paper. He’d eat rolls of it. He’d eat any paper he would find in the house. If there’s nothing for him to eat, he’ll scrape together the dirt he finds on the floor and eat that.”

Caden is currently facing an unusually childhood as he spends most of his time on the bed and also depressed after undergoing a tracheotomy few years back, which make him currently breathes through a tube position in his windpipe.
