Cld u explain what is wrong with ur box. Upgrades are done to fix peculiar or critical challenges.

SULIEMAN3: it does. input this tp12522h29.950 and blind scan to see if it downloads automatically after blind scan. If its not dowloading switch it off at the back and switch on again.

In addition to what Sule said, note that its not all the inf/consat channels are FTA. U can only watch the few tha t are not encrypted.

Boadu: @ SULIEMAN3, I used 4669XII software 302p from crosat.us but the infinity channels still show No audio/video. My question is: can I download the 4669XII software under the middle East for my rx? The middle East one is 303p, while the Africa one is 302p. If I download the middle East one, will my decoder not lose some of its functions? Since I'm using it in Africa not middle East. I need your assistance.

Someone said so here and thats what we are trying to find out.

olenyi: U could easily find this out by pressing menu, installation. Is their an ''options'' submenu at the bottom of the list of menus under installation? If no, exit menu and press 6969 twice. Does it show ''patch off, patch on''? Go back to menu, installation. Is the options submenu now dia?

Also while on any channel, try pressing 8280. Does it bring out the biss input interface.

Am not trying to find out how to upgrade my stb OTA, hence with due respect to Setoop's explanation, it has no relevance to my enquiry.
I/we want to know like I highlighted how the upgrade has improved ur rx (eg fixing the infinity signal)
or the possible demerits (eg if it disabled the patch function)
however since you dont know, I call on those who did the OTA upgrade to relay the impacts to the forum.
