that t.p transmits in mpeg 4, your rx is mpeg 2,which makes it impossible for your rx to hold the tp.

SULIEMAN3: it does. input this tp12522h29.950 and blind scan to see if it downloads automatically after blind scan. If its not dowloading switch it off at the back and switch on again.

In addition to what Sule said, note that its not all the inf/consat channels are FTA. U can only watch the few tha t are not encrypted.

the problem with my box is dat, the infinitytv signal it picks is not stable. when i bought it new it works perfect, for a couple of time now it has been red. i even did d upgrade from srong site but still could'nt solve d problem. so i want know if d ota upgrade whould solve d problem. tanx in advance.

@Twinskenny, intelsat 17 66*E is receivable with at least 2.3mtr mesh dish and above,my location is Ibadan, as a matter of fact,by the arrangement of my LNBFs, i receive intelsat 17(66*E) at exactly the same position where i pick citizen TV (62*E) with the middle LNBF having the di-electric splitter, while the C-band LNBF above without the splitter locks the intelsat 17(66*E) simultaneously,altogether i do receive close to 70 channels from that sat, although most are encrypted,however channels like Kalaighnar TV,Kalaighnar Seithigal and Angel TV (HD) etc are unencrypted.

Go to OTA menu. Set the frequencies: 12522H29950 and press the scan button.

make sure that 12522 H 29950 is green on your reciever. Mannual scan the above trasponder. Your reciever will detect the software. On your tv screen down the right side, you will see "new software" then switch off your reciever and on it back, immediately your reciever will start OTA download.

It depend on the stage of the OTA download on your reciever. There is no problem if light goes off at first stage of the OTA download but at last stage, huh! there is serious problem.

so after upgrading with this OTA s/w, will i be able to enter biss keys to the rx.

Yeah, you can still enter biss keys but I'm sorry to tell you that jujubox (dogshit) menu won't be there again.
