Okay, so I got my Visa April 17, 2023.

Changed my sponsor to my father, did a lot of mock interviews and God did the rest.

V.O: Have you been to the US before ?
Me: Yes, I visited the US in 200x for a student exchange program, I was there for 6 weeks.
V.O: I see you are going to UxF
Me: Yes, i am going to UxF for a Masters in sustainability with a specialization in xxxx
V.O: who's covering your deficit
Me: My dad, Dr.xxxxx, a successful medical doctor with over 33yrs of private medical practice. He owns 2 hospitals and a dental facility in A & B, he also doubles as a traditional ruler in my hometown with inherited landed properties and farmland. He makes an estimated 96m from his businesses and assets.
V.O: where do you work?
Me: i work at xxxxxx...(V.O cuts in)
V.O: what does your company do ?
Me: it's an energy solutions provider with major focus on the oil and gas sector. We have over 150 service stations across the nation, we also sell oil and LPG with gas skids in almost all the service stations.
V.O: so will your O & G company want you to practice sustainability since...
Me: oh yes, we have a fleet of about 150 trucks for our haulage, we are interested in cleaner fueling alternatives for them
V.O: what does your dad do again ?
Me: He's a medical doctor
V.O: He makes a hundred and what million ?
Me: No. He makes 96m per annum
V.O: okay. Everything looks good..

Me. Spoke about fit with work, how the course was going to help me transition from my role in internal audit to a sustainability analyst, how i am going to learn about concepts (mentioned core core concentration & courses) that would help bridge the knowledge gap. The school's curriculum worked for me, spoke about the associate dean's works and research and how they aligned with the role I'm playing to take after my degree....(she cuts me off at this point, says okay, that's fine)

VO: What countries have you been to ?

Me: USA. For a student exchange program & i spoke about what i did during the exchange. Then Ghana, on an educational field trip. Listed the places visited..(interrupts again)

VO: So who is covering your deficit

Me: My uncle. He's an electrical engineer, he owns Xyz Electric with offices in 4 states (named them) with a staff strength of 60 people. They specialize in electrical installations for both residential & industrial buildings and consult for companies on solar installations, he makes an average of 40-50million annually.

VO: Sorry....

I think she just didnt like us cos i was right behind him �. She asked me just 3 questions & by the third question, she was already typing & not paying much attention to me
She asked why the course & the school, travel history & sponsor. Nothing about current job, post-degree plans or even relationship with sponsor

@Cyingfreeman with your response, I don't know how the vo came to the conclusion that you don't have strong home ties to be granted a visa.She didn't give you the opportunity to express yourself.Maybe she don't just like you Ah hope you didn't dress like one Alhaji from Kano state.

Some things happen because they are meant to happen.They happen to make us stronger, to make us better persons.

re-Apply sharpaly and get your visa approved.

Kingjonez your responses are all good.I don't know why the vo should deny you.But I still feel the denial is as a result of funding, tho yous SOA is good enough to cover the deficit.Maybe the vo is concerned about your sources of funding: RA, personal savings, your father who is a prof and a civil servant will foot the remaining bill if your RA and personal savings isn't enough to cover your expenses and you didn't mention if he has a major business establishment, did you?

Hi Everyone, my friend had an interview earlier this week in Lagos and was issued a white paper under the section 221(g) because the visa officer wanted him to provide additional documents. Please does anyone know how he can schedule another interview so that he can bring the additional documents to the officer and get his visa. Also does he need to pay a new MRV receipt?
I really hope that he doesn’t have to go and select a date using the regular scheduling cause there are no dates�.

Go to "provide feedback". Write to inquire about the status of your request and if it is still being reviewed/considered and when you can expect a response. They should reply under 12hrs, it would most likely be declined tho if it's Abuja

For all its worth, this guy is a SCAMMER and a FRAUD!!. Not only would he give you a poorly done work with tons of fundamental errors, his works are usually largely plagiarized too. He is a hack, he just does this to get by..he is not good at it.
To top it off, he has a stinking attitude especially if he has received payment. You can expect him to start treating your work as a favor instead of a job he is being paid for.

Do business with him at your OWN PERIL !

No Toyota Corolla born of metal, can accelerate like a V6. Corolla parts are not cheap aswell.

@ OP, if you want a basic, bland, boring, no frills car, by all means get the corolla.
For something more fun, classy & engaging to drive, get the C230 2005 (it sports a 1.8L supercharged i4 engine)
