BlueStripper: If you really want to know how rotten and immoral the Church has become, read the response of the called "Christians" on this platform.
If our Lord and Saviour danced like this when he was on earth, I don't think we would celebrate his legacy today.
I don't think we would stand on our feet to preach today.
This is not only applicable to Christians. It seems satan or Sheytan (As Muslims call him) is hellbent on destroying our faith, as I am beginning to see strange acts and actions of what used to be a conservative religion.
He is ready to challenge any channel that connects you to the supreme being.
This is why the Holy Bible says "Watch and Pray" not "Defend Garbage on Nairaland" Exactly bro, it's painful to see how Christians by name are the ones detailing the word of God. The Bible is super clear about differentiating ourselves from the things of the world. We have diluted the word of God to the point where you'll enter church and be wondering if it is a church or an earthly gathering |

femi4: Nothing is wrong with the dance
You are stereotyped to declare her dance demonic. It takes a demon to recognise a demonic dance
This is the definition of "music no need permission to enter your spirit "
We are quick to tag what we don't understand "demonic " in this part of the world. This is the mentality that is making it hard for people to differentiate Christianity from the world these days... Light and darkness don't mix, the Bible is very clear about that, how can such demonic posses pattern of dance be done in the church and you're here saying there's nothing wrong with it. If you see Kumuyi or Adeboye doing this kind of dance, be very truthful to yourself, what would be your personal thought on it? |

There own is just play ball and enjoy themselves
They weren't even considered a top 4 team for this season
As long as Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool keep losing there cool And Chelsea continue with there momentum Then anything is possible
In addition they have one of the Best player in Europe now picking up a good form. Last last na End of season will decide. Exactly, the fact that a lot of people have written them off would give them the edge over the favourite top 4 teams. They're gradually picking form now, i enjoy watching their games now unlike before, let's just wait till second part of the season starts next year, maybe that's when people would realize dem be serious contenders |

Anfieldboss: UCL and EPL are different competitions. You don't need consistency to win UCL, you need magical moments to win UCL, but EPL is won with consistency. The season Chelsea won the UCL, they were not consistent but were able to produce results when it matters....that has also been the story of Real Madrid in the UCL and even Liverpool during the Rafael Benitez era, when they were doing well in UCL but could not win the EPL. While I agree with you, another angle is, the moment a team feel it is possible for them to achieve something, then forget it, they'll achieve it, secondly, being first on the table puts pressure on you unlike who is second on the table, if you look at the pattern Chelsea is playing, you would understand why i said they have a higher chance of winning the epl. Consistency is doing something over and over even when the day is bad, look at them, coming back from behind to win Tottenham that had 2 goals lead, they were able to outsmart and outmatch the fast pace game Tottenham were playing, looking at Liverpool, you'll notice they still struggle with fast pace teams just like they've been struggling during Klop time, Chealsea on the other hand knows how to neutralise that pattern of game, like I said, let's watch till the end of the season, but I see them as strong contenders for epl, something a lot of people are yet to come to terms with. |

For me, City and Arsenal are still bigger threats to Liverpool winning the league than Chelsea. If care is not taken ehn, na Chelsea get this season, that was how they moved jejely to win the UCL some seasons ago, I'm beginning to see same pattern this season |

What you are saying is like asking an abandoned child what he has done for his poor father, shouting at the child why he decided to disown and abandoned the sick dad.
Na person wey dem train well, show love to, cared and provided for, go fit return the favour. It is not the other way around. There are processes in life, and a father training the child comes before the child training the father.
Nigeria have to do something for the citizens, so the citizens can return the favour. This is why properous countries for example have social benefits that the poorest of the poor can still live with dignity.
Until the poor pick up, pay tax, and help the system that helped him at his lowest. Its a circle, and one must come before other.
You point would have make sense if you are talking to Davido or DJ Cuppy, because Nigeria has blessed them, and they dare not complain.
Take your time Truth is we can insult and abuse Nigeria as much as we want, nothing would change. Look at most average Nigerians, very lazy, greedy and extremely wicked. Yet we'll come out and start attacking the country at every slight opportunity, how do you expect the country to work, we claim our leaders are wicked, who voted them, who created an avenue for them to bend the law? We give nothing to the country yet expect so much from the country. Meanwhile we're constantly running to countries where their citizens sacrificed a lot to get it to where they are. Give us chance to go to those countries we all want to go to, overtime we'll run them down, because we still carry that same mentality of always wanting to take without contributing and we expect magic to happen. You said my question would have made sense if i was asking dem Davido, are they not humans? Haven't they done something for the country? The question is directed at every Nigerian, go out and ask most Nigerians this question, then you'll realise why we are where we are. Nigeria has already provided you with life already, it is left for you to make something out of it. Then again, the question still stands, what have you done to make Nigeria better? |

Technology Market › Re: Solar Experts Needed Please by Kingju: 11:00am On Dec 09, 2024 |
RealSean: appreciate your input sir but it's important to note, it's an inverter 1.5hp ac but regardless do you have a price summary that would carry my ac without bulging, I'm willing to increase the budget should the need be Inverter AC still consume just that it isn't as high as the normal AC. Do note that this is you providing power for yourself, so it can't be compared to normal PHCN, what that means is that, you can't run your AC during off sun hours. If you want to truly enjoy your inverter, you would only run your AC during sunny hours, say 10am( if it is sunny by that time) to like 3pm. If I would really advise you, i would say 12pm to 3pm or 4pm, that way the remaining hour of sunshine would recharge the battery again before the sun go down. But, that would involve bigger Panels, you could go for Jinko 550w panels or 600w panels and in that case, you would need about 8 to 14 of them, each of that panel cost about 125k to 150k depending on where you're buying it from, you would also need a 5kva inverter ( i would have advised 7.5kva for future appliances), 5kva should be around 580 to 750k depending on the product ( go for Felicity or Growatts transformer type inverter). You'll need 4 to 8 tubular batteries(same price as before, just multiply it by the number of batteries) depending on your budget or 10kwh to 15kwh of lithium battery. You'll need 120A controller or 2 x 60A controller, you'll also need 225A surge for both battery and panels ( that should be around 50kper one for a quality surge). Then the panel rails would be roughly around 60k. Labour would also go up, you should budget around 160 to 250k or even 300k depending on the installer and your type of building. On a minimal level: 3.5kva 48v transformer base inverter: around 480 to 650k 4 tubular batteries: around 1.1m 550w panels x 8: roughly 1m 120a Controller : 280k Surge x2 : 60k Rails: 44 to 50k Wire: depend on the distance from your roof to where you plan to keep the inverter (you could spend upto 300k or more on wire, and you could also spend say 30 to 60k, like i said, it depends on the distance) Workmanship: 150 to 250k Remember, your AC can run in the evening but i wouldn't advise that because it would quickly kill your batteries. |

RealSean: ok thank you sir. The items I would love to cover are atleast a 42 inch TV, a mini fridge, an inverter 1.5hp ac, 2 fans, a PS4, a few bulb lights and dstv. It's pretty much all the items I use that requires electricity. Thanks in anticipation Bros you wan make me laff tire. Ac for 1 million naira Kole possible. Go for this: 2 tubular batteries= roughly 530 to 560k 1.5kva or 2kva inverter: roughly 180 to 350k Mppt 45 or 60A controller: roughly 130 to 230k. Solar panels 400w: roughly 80 to 120k ( you'll need at least 4 to 6 of them for a start) although you can get used ones at a slightly lower price. Solar wire: depending on your type of building, but keep around 40 to 80k depending on the meters. Panel rails: roughly 30k Workmanship: you budget from 80 to 180k depending on who would install it. You would have to change some bulbs in your house to 3 watts bulb or 5 watts bulb, but i would advice AKT 3 watts bulb. Also, you can't use your AC with it, unless you plan to kill your battery on time. Alternatively, if you can go for 3.5kva of the inverter and increase your panels to say 8 or 10, then during peak sunny hours, you can put on your AC. |

Who would add fresh fish to soup without first seasoning and partially cooking it? The properly cooked fish not only tastes sweeter and better but also reduces the strong odor associated with fresh fish.
If I were to visit your home and witness you adding uncooked, fresh fish directly to your soup, I would immediately infer that you lack culinary expertise and possibly maintain questionable hygiene standards and would never eat that rubbish. For me there's nothing wrong in it, as a matter of fact, I'm craving a fish stew today, after buying the ingredients, i decided to add the fish this same way the op did, cause that was the taste i was craving for. so, I feel it depends on someone's choice. But I feel it has nothing to do with hygiene. |
