One thing you need to understand is that when two or more people form a union , a group or an association, in order to avoid chaos and disorderliness their must be A LEADER and their must be a subordinate.

Now comparing this to marriage we all can agree that both culturally and religiously in any marriage , the man should be the leader and the moment any other person tries to overshadow his orders or water down his directives that action would be percied as insorbordination or mutiny.

In marriage the Man is the King of his kingdom( family in this regard), and his orders must be obyed. But in a situation where you don't like what the man is doing you can give your opinion after all the decisions he takes would affect both him and his family.

Wives can show their submissiveness by following the leadership of the man and this includes but not limited to
1) following his directives
2) her opinions must be seen as a suggestion and not as an order
3) she shouldn't try to play the role of the man in this case trying to be the breadwinner of the family.

Imagine having TINUBU AND PETER OBI AS PRESIDENT AT THE SAME TIME, that would be a perfect recipe for chaos.
