I understand that contempt of court is when a person, group of person of body cooperate refuses to comply with an order of court. So what happens should NLC & TUC disregard the order of the high court and go ahead with the proposed strike action? Will Joe Ajaero together with all EXCOs of the NLC national be held in contempt or all Nigerian workers? |
Most times people amplify little things, the only time election tribunal will do Justice is if they nknow that they will be held accountable shud they compromise, else they will simply sell Justice to the highest bidder and we all know who the hihhest bidder is |

The Ondo State Deputy Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has denied the allegation that he was fond of beating up his wife, Mrs Oluwaseun. A group, under the auspices of the Society for Women Empowerment, alleged that Ayedatiwa had physically assaulted his wife twice in four months which, according to it, was against the ethics of his office. However, the deputy governor in a statement issued through his media aide, Mr Kenneth Odusola, said he had never raised his hand to his wife since they got married. Aiyedatiwa, who described the women’s group as faceless, said the media report that he engaged in domestic abuse and assault on his wife was baseless and false. The statement read,” The said allegation of domestic abuse is a figment of the imagination of those behind it and their ungodly intentions to cause a crisis in the state had been known for weeks and therefore such falsehood did not come as a surprise. “While His Excellency reserves the right to privacy on issues pertaining to his family, it is pertinent to state clearly that there has never been any domestic violence between the Deputy Governor and his lovely wife, Mrs. Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, who at the moment is outside the shores of the country. “It is not a secret that Mrs. Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa has lived and worked in the United Kingdom for many years before her husband became an elected public official in Nigeria and since then she has been shuttling between the United Kingdom and Nigeria to take care of the home and the children who are also in the United Kingdom. Therefore, any report of alleged domestic issues within the family should be taken as the handiwork of the enemies of the state who are bent on causing a crisis where there is none and we therefore warn those spreading such falsehood to desist or face the consequences.” https://punchng.com/i-never-assaulted-my-wife-ondo-deputy-gov/

Fuel subsidy was undoubtedly one of the major drain of the national treasury. But another massive burden on the national treasury are the ‘pecks’ of political office holders. When will it be addressed by President Tinubu? |
Now this is one way to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy, The next will ne for the Governor to realise that he must increase the state wage bill because allocation from Federal Government will be more buoyant since the Federal government is not budgeting for fuel subsidy |
What a logic |
🤣🤣🤣 |
When you realize e that the peeps in charge of the country RN took over government when cooking gas sold for #368/kg in 2015/2016. From 368/kg it rose to about 890 per kg and RN, year 2023 is about 680/kg. They want us to start praising the Apc government for this? Which kain people we enter their hand like this? Funny right 😀😀😀 |
If you have carefully observed, in the past few days, supporters of Tinubu have tried in vain to label the proposed NLC strike slated for Wednesday this week as Igbo project (this kind of propaganda in my opinion is a heartless) endeavor. Even the highest paid online supporter of Tinubu has a mother, father brothers and sisters, if they find out this is what you do online ( supporting removal of subsidy while standing against increase in minimum wage) they will curse you. The Fuel subsidy removal is over due, however whether you argue for inflation or not, worker’s salary MUST BE increased minimum 60%. It is not only fuel subsidy that is affecting the purse of the country, politicians extravagant take home should also be removed. We must all sacrifice for the country. Tinubu will be better than Buhari, but he should listen to labor. As the effects of the subsidy is instant so also, the bill for minimum wage increase to 60,000 be the first bill 💸on the table of the 10th national assembly once inaugurated. |
