anonimi: Did All Promises Cancelled, APC make our country worse or not since 2015 when they told us they were going to deliver positive change but have only shown us extreme poverty shege
>> >>>>
Whose extreme poverty shege are u talking about ??
When people are still buying cement and building or when people are still buying new cars or what??
Even before APC do u want to tell me all citizens have a home and have a car??
So what's d point bro 🤔
Even US have more homeless citizens than Nigeria plz make ur research..
iammolise: You have a good point, it's good they stopped him and questioned him, so many crimes have been committed and the perpetrators went Scott free, in a country as naija where kidnapping and terrorism crimes are high, this action is good, we can differentiate the real military from a hoodwink situation... But then here's my question to you, when you see men on camo mounting the road block, all without badge or with badge, who questions them at all for proof of genuine identity, can you dare?, This is a problem that should be addressed too.
Thanks you my brother 😢 at least u understand my point and from the angle u are coming from too u are very correct 🤔
Dem go rush dey support nonsense. Even a child should know that such clothing would bring unnecessary attention from military men and criminals alike as criminals would attack you first if ya village people ever remember you and you wear military garb where dem dey operate.
Those putting on such in Nigeria, are nonsense people abeg. Old or young. Or any person wan lie say e never hear stories of how civilians were embarrassed or harassed by these olodo military personnel before?
Troublemakers jhus full everywhere...
Awón èyàn werey
My brother enemies of Nigeria plenty well well and they will never want to hear d truth ...
Everything is not about blame or whatever instead we should look into the reason for some specific actions..
ZombieDredd: This week alone we have seen videos of kidnaps in edo state. how many did they were camouflage or this kind cap to "lure" victims inside bush?
Oga am speaking from what have seen not only Edo ...
D same kidnappers used d killed army camo to operate even to steal and kill ..
Yes it's not good because that's same thing kidnappers used to lure their victims into d bush ..
Everything no be to dey blame..
The last kidnap in Edo State the kidnappers put on military camouflage while taking the people in the bush they believed they were Nigerian soldiers not knowing they are kidnappers..
THE MILITARY DO WARN FOR SECURITY REASONS NOT TO PUT IT ON SO THEY WILL KNOW WHO IS WHO AFTER ALL IS FOR OUR BENEFIT
anonimi: Indeed we are resilient in the wrong things with our misplaced priorities and shortsighted mindset of stealing what should be used to build a formidable tomorrow through effective service delivery and efficient utilities supply by local, state and federal governments.
Onegai: Please also ask Daddies and Uncles in the house too, I'm sure they have valuable input from what they learned from taking care of their children.
Samantha125: I have a niece who was diagnosed with ADHD a year ago... The teachers would complain of how she was inattentive, restless, would talk excessively during class lessons, and was struggling to read and write, making it hard for them to get her attention as she was persistently hyperactive.
They advised my sister and her husband to take her to a professional to have her checked, that's how she was diagnosed with ADHD and started undergoing therapy, they eventually moved her to a school which catered for children her condition... But I think your nephew is still way too young for you to be suspecting anything out of the ordinary, or perhaps he's just a slow learner.
Kobojunkie: You are not a pediatrician and the child in question is 3,so let him develop at his pace. Continue to talk to him like you would any respected human being so he builds his confidence and vocabulary until he is able to open his mouth to speak on his own. 🥱🥱🥱
Get him coloring paper and crayons and let him draw instead. 🥱🥱
VeeVeeMyLuv: We in Nigeria are paying bills for that MAN, his wife, his son, his associates and the other 40 thieves to marry more wives, carry international prostitutes, buy the latest bullet proof SUVs brand new, build more house and hotels, loot and loot and loot with their scrawny, leprous fingers.
Plz list the bills u are paying that u are not using
nairalanda1: That is not true. I don't recall paying that whenever I renewed my vehichle papers.
Well, when most people underpay or do not pay for the electricity they use, plus when a minority are on the cost reflective band, you are not going to get good service.
It's like you go to a provisions shop where only 20% of the customers pay for what they buy, at the price the owner sets, the rest steal products, or pay half or one quarter of the price. You won't get good service as a result.
That's the problem with our electricity system. The vast majority, including the government and the rich, underpay or steal power. (Metering doesn't help, over 60% of consumers steal power). Since not enough profit is being made, there will be service problems for everyone including those who pay in full like you and me.
Thanks my brother .... The guy u are quoting are part of the citizens in Nigeria that loves to paint government black 🖤 whereby the reality of things they won't say it all because they hate the government..
Bypass full here for Lagos market and many times nepa complained of low income now tell me this same people will abuse d country of no stable power 🤔
chatinent: I'd rather pay tax in the UK and watch my kids enjoy freebies in sch and see what I am paying for than pay in Nigeria to fund corrupt politicians' lifestyles.
So public schools are not free where ow what?
Or u are d one that decided not to take them there?
To get a degree in naija how much did u spend compare it to when u earn same degree in overseas 🤔
U can never see anything good in Nigeria thats why u are a bad sample of citizens
Stephen0mozzy: There's a reason why those days, our parents will only take you to school after you turn 5 or even way back, only if you can touch your left ear from across your head with your right hand.
Most kids are late bloomers, in different milestones of childhood. So don't pressure the toddler, let the child be a child. Put the child in social environment even outside school - age mates or other kids.
With time he'll be fine. You can take the child to the paediatrician who can give chexk that he's biologically fine.
Thank you for this awesome input may God bless you 😇
There is this my aunt son that he gave birth to he celebrated 3 years yesterday 11th January.
But this boy can hear and do what you tell him but he can't really speak even if he does he can't speak clearly like ( I want to eat).
Another challenge is that this same boy can't write more than 1 and have this hyperactive muscle ehn 😊 The boy like too much play like too much active in his blood ..
Lastly majority of his classmates can write and even recite 1 to 20 But him na just maybe 1 to 5 sha and can even easily forget when you ask him to do it again .
Low rate in the fixed income space should not translate to no investment.
The truth is that a low-interest-rate regime is actually beneficial for the economy, as long as inflation continues to decline.
How do you win during a low-rate regime?
If you must invest in fixed income, opt for mutual funds that have bonds as their underlying assets. The rate of bonds is still much better than short-term instruments like treasury bills during a low-rate regime.
If you decide to stick to MMF, try to have at least two fund managers; this will help you have an average of two different rates combined. The fund that has a more consistent upward trend in rate takes a larger chunk of your investable funds, all other things being equal.
Consider investment in stocks. Though stocks are considered risky when compared with MMF, stock investment has great returns in three ways: 1. price appreciation - buy low, sell high 2. cash dividend payment, sometimes as regularly twice or even quarterly in some stocks 3. Bonuses, ie, payment of dividend using shares instead of cash, this in turn increases your holdings without additional cash commitment from your pocket.
When you buy fundamentally sound and regular dividend-paying stocks, you are sure of your returns and able to beat inflation, hence a real return is achievable.
Also consider a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT); there are a few in Nigeria - SFSREIT, UPDCREIT, and UHOMREIT. If you don't have huge funds to buy physical property, a REIT is the best way to go if you want to enjoy rental income without owning a property.
Instead of the MDBs, use MMF to keep your cash; it will always have a better rate than a savings account.
Try a business if you can and are available. There are more business activities during a low rate regime because the currency seems to have higher purchasing power, and businesses can borrow cheaply compared to a high inflation and high rate regime.
Remember, it's better to have a low rate, which results in low interest and keep investing, than no investment, which means no interest at all.
For more on investment matters (mutual funds and stocks), reach out to me.
I wish you all a productive week ahead.
How can I invest in real estate REIT AND OTHERS without owning a property please can you put my through or can I have your Whatsapp contact for followups 🙏
