I am currently trying to pay for IHS and Visa application fee. I have some queries

1. I had filled in the information of my dependents on both the IHS link and in my visa application but on the summary page, it is stating "you do not have dependents" and it's processing amount due to only myself


2. I own and have funded a KYC 3 Paga account. Do I really need a card linked to the account before payment can be enabled. A friend is insisting this is the only way.

I am curious to know what documentation or site told you to calculate it this way.... it just for my curiosity as I see it as a comment frequently on NL (to put end date for CAS even for dependent application)

Or are you putting wrong date, it going through but that then flags as a problem later down the line, maybe in renewal time that the IHS was wrong ? . Did your school tell you to calculate it this way?

This is how it is written on my Cas:
“English HEI sponsor has made assessment using West African Senior School Certificate with a grade 6. The student is deemed to be competent to a minimum of CEFR Level B2 in all four components.”

Am sure this is written on everyone’s CAS as long as u applied with ur WAEC. If this is true, has everyone been uploading his/her waec for visa application?

If your school wants your bank statement before your CAS issuance, there's no way around it. You will have to submit your statement because the school has to be sure that your application is not refused on the finance grounds as this will negatively impact the school's sponsor licence in the long run.

Your 28 days won't be complete till Jan 11 so you can inform your school about this. Once you send it in and get your CAS (usually within 5 days), you can use the priority processing service. You can also find out from your school if the resumption date can be extended in the event that the CAS issuance and visa application processes make meeting up with your resumption date impossible.

I get your point, no vex we dey use our naija mind also I have heard that the officers at the borders sometimes ask to see bank statement, so me personally I just feel, to be on the safe side

If you like you can - it makes no difference either way as securing advance accommodation is not a requirement for a Tier 4 visa.

Though I'm yet to print out my bank statement, the address on it is different from the address I'll fill in my visa application (the one in my tb test certificate). Reason is that that's my current address. I might not be able to update my address with my bank because I don't have access to any utility bill for now.

Will that raise any red flag?
