TravelRe: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening by kioh: 5:17pm On Oct 05, 2014
Hi VO
My mum and 2 younger sisters won the DV lottery and left for US in April, they have also gotten their greencards and are all currently working. My elder sister also left in August for her masters, am left in Nigeria because of my job. Now I have missed them so much and would love to visit them this December. My mom just got a place of her own.

Please I would love to know the required documents that my mom has to provide in order for her to invite me

VisaOfficer:
If you plan to go just for a visit, you can apply for a non-immigrant visa any time. http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/non-immigrant_visas.html has the instructions for applying for a non-immigrant visa. If your mother plans to file an immigrant petition, she can do so now if you're unmarried; see http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas.html or www.uscis.gov for more information.
Thanks for your swift reply. Please I would love to know if my mom needs to provide any documents since I will be staying with her during my visit

1. Is it too early for my mom to invite me?
2. If not, how do I go about it? And what are the required documents that I need?
