Even as a business man here in Nigeria, you don't need CHECKBOOK to operate through Polaris Bank, all you need is a letter head paper of your company, and the bank will treat it like a checkbook. That is what is obtainable in US, even as an individual, you don't need the banks checkbook to operate, you can design your own checkbook in a business center and the banks will honor it, provided there's money in the account.
